I kind of suspected that, but went with the "look" instead. I fixed it now. I think the build is now as perfect as LDD allows, with only the single rubber tube part missing.

6980 Galaxy Commander (LDD 4.3.6 - Space) download lxf Notes: Front wing part is slightly different than the classic space version. All the decorations are missing except computer terminals which were replaced with modern versions. Some 1x2 profiled bricks might actually be regular 1x2 bricks with stripe decoration. The instructions were too low resolution to be able to tell exactly. (there are 2 blue, 5 white). One pneumatic/tube missing since LDD doesn't have it. Colors might not be exact replicas from classic space. 8865-1 Test Car (LDD 4.3.6 - Technic) download lxf Notes: This build is incomplete and cannot be completed in current LDD version. I'm only posting this here if someone might find it useful. Main issues: All classic toothed parts are missing. They were replaced with non-toothed parts where possible. Tires and steering wheel are modern closest equivalent versions. Some parts are just hanging there. It doesn't seem to be possible to connect them in LDD. Too many issues with hinge align in a project of this size. Some of the related black technic friction connectors are moved to a near position so I could at least partially emulate a succesful connection. Front suspension parts were changed to modern versions. Front tire holders are not available in LDD and are replaced with equivalent multi-part version. Cylinders and inner engine is missing. The classic toothed parts of the engine are not available. Gearbox toothed alignments are off since LDD doesn't let me rotate them. Gearbox connection to back wheels doesn't work because of the modern part version. Gearbox 1x1 flat brick number decorations are missing. After project reload LDD removed some parts even after succesful connection and they are now missing. I don't know which ones.
