I had a pretty solid connection using a 1x1 plate w\ holder at the back, and i have tried a travis brick, but it makes the wings hang either way to low or too high, depending on the pin you use

Yeah, that helmet is great! And the green isn't very strong so maybe it could be used for gemini. -
Well...dont know if it counts as "iron legion" but i was thinking Bulk's helmet from Hero Factory: Invasion form below could look good as Ultrons head. Maybe warmachine's torso could work Aswell.

Ah, ok, but it would make sense...him sleeping troughout the hole storyline wouldn't be much fun, maybe the spiders walk around infecting rahi like the old infected kanohi, that would give the toa stronger foes.

With Artahka/Ekimu being originaly connected to the creation of the toa, and makuta creating the spiders in his slumber, is it possible that the toa were created by Ekimu while he was sleeping, as a counter to makuta's skull spiders? Also, these flash animations remind me of the ones release back in the day :)

Ok, so maybe in this makuta is less important, and him putting on the mask causes the great cataclysm? The earthquake seemms to suggest so...

So.. Its been a while, but i think i found some really good new pieces for the iron legion, so here are some thoughts: -the torso for the chima Scorn minifigure could be used for Bones (mark 41) - the new HF armors are pretty bulky on a normal minifigure, so a heartbreaker with one would probably look great, hope they become avaible in gold soon -the space marine armor is now avaible in red (Infearno, ultra agents) so maybe someone could be built from it. Any ideas?

i've found the Hero Factory quaza spikes work very well as the movie falcon wings, but i cannot post pictures on Ipad... :( whats up with that?

Wow, cool, does like a lot like the centurion! Altough the movie one has this weird armor thingy wich is hard to replicate. Best to stick with the comic.

Nice, but you know of any torsos wich are as good or better then the battle mech's? I dont have any of those and im fully purist.

That is Just Perfect! Gotta find one of those! Following the same line of thought, this could be used for gemini: Just couple it with white breathing tanks, war machine helmet and Golden iron man faceplate.

I was thinking maybe this piece ( http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=6022564 ) could be used for some armor. Maybe one of the stealths or Romeo (black with big reactor)

Scorpionox, i meant the arms Are yellow, im sorry, i just dont have any better ones laying around... Also, here is "thumper" or Striker Its a regular torso from the second generation of atlantis.

I think some armors can be done from chima torsos, as they have a chi ball in the chest wich looks like a reactor. Also here is my try at shotgun: I know the arms arent yellow, but the thin light in the chest is reminiscent of its reactor.

I have made a purist Doctor Octopus wich actually has tentacles (like in the game) instead of the arms lego has been giving us. :) Please keep in mind this is only to show the tentacles as im still looking for proper minifig parts to make Doc Oc. Also the glasses are attatched by friction, so its still purist. Here is a side shot: Sorry for the bad picture quality... :)
