I like those pics a lot. The combination of the real snow with the LEGO trees is pretty cool, and the bear is a nice touch :)

I have some new photos I'd like to share. It seems better to post in this ongoing thread, even though it's an old thread. :)

Brickbeard, very nice, atmospheric photo

Collectible Mini-figs Series 8 Habitats

This is great, I love it. My favorite is the theater. -
Great MOC, especially the water and sand, and the colors.

Very nice!

bboarder711, very nice, and I like the depth (that you can see what's going on behind) and the classic pirate stuff.
-
Awesome set, I like it, but I don't think I can get it. Still, I enjoyed reading your review!

Rufus's 375 Yellow Castle Restoration Project
smellsgood replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is a really cool project, I enjoyed reading back and following the progress (since I missed it the first time). -
If he's an 80s style businessman, it's probably a huge cordless phone, or maybe even a car phone.
-
Even better!

Cool idea. One suggestion: when viewing the scoreboard, I'd like to click on those little photos to view the minifigure at a larger size.

I like the rock band one a lot. I had already put together a drum set, but my cymbals are orange and the minifig recoloring is cool and goes together a bit better. Maybe I'll put together two bands. I'm not sold on the graveyard one, but I don't really like monsters that much. I might buy a zombie separately, since (presumably) the price of the new one will be a bit lower than the price of the series 1 zombie...

Great thread, I'm enjoying all the great pictures. Here are some older photos of mine. I have newer ones, but I haven't put them online yet. From older to newer: Link to image (if you can't see it) Link to image Link to image Link to image

Very nice! I supported it.

Wow, cool, and other people might have noticed it, but I hadn't.

I think that the snow melted faster on the post office because the roof is darker and gets hotter.

I don't know if this will show for you but here is a picture from me: If it doesn't show then go here: a pirates picture I didn't know anything about lighting or using a sheet for the background back when I took that picture. Anyway, I like this sort of thing a lot, so I've been reading this thread with interest.

That will make a great addition to my winter village. Though I do find the fake roof window a little annoying, I'll get over it for the other things about it that are awesome. Incidentally, my grandparents had roof windows that never went through to anything. One day I searched their house for hours, and those windows weren't anywhere, not even anything that looked like fake windows. So, it's a technique that also happens with real houses.

I saw this a little while ago on Twitter. It's awesome! Like everyone else, I love how it has half modern and half historical, sort of like visiting a place like that and imagining what it must have looked like back then.
-
Oh, very nice. I really like the details, and the outside looks very natural, like this house has been lived in for a while and kept up.
-
Very nice -- I like the second version a lot more too.
-
Very nice! I particularly like the one with the boat in the water and the one with the shovel

Greetings! I read this forum but I hardly ever post, so here is a late introduction, it's nice to meet you.
