  1. It’s definitely not the old UCS Yoda build. That looks very different.
  2. Interview with Jens Kronveld Frederiksen and there appears to be a brick built Yoda next to him. There's a rumoured buildable Yoda later this year but the price tag would indicate it's smaller than this. Seems coincidental though.
  3. This looks fantastic. I've seen quite a few MOCs of the Yavin Temple over the years but I think the simplicity of this layout with the detailing included in it just about captures the temple, and the ceremony in particular, better than the others. Excellent work!
  4. I did have that helmet in use for her but one variant is already in use for Hobbie and another for Grizz Frix. I think Hobbie might be the olive green version
  5. It must have been available at some point because FS made an insta post about it and commented on it coming back in stock at some point. That helmet is actually the Raeh helmet from the Sandspeeder helped with a bit of photoshop for now. I need to get those panels grey with some semi transparent paint.
  6. It should be. I'm not sure if it's been on there already and was just taken off temporarily. I know they sometimes get left on and have a quantity sold that actually aren't ready so Cat has to print them up. I think she was pretty done with printing helmets for a little while after the last load of stuff that was oversold.
  7. Please help yourself. If you like the image enough then please use it. :) I've looked through all kinds of things for reference on pilot listings. Blue Squadron is a bit of a mess as there's clearly more ships than 12 when you go through all media and some aren't named directly but I've tried to piece them together where I can. Red Squadron actually had one of their pilots changed to Legends rather than Canon even though it was a name given to a pilot shown in ANH with the black visor in the X-Wing. He's Wenton Chan but he was bumped to Legends after RO and another pilot was given his canon spot. I've kept Chan as my Red 11 though as he appears in the original film. Gold Squadron only have 8 named pilots currently from what I can find. Rogue Group can mix up too but there's a really good page on the Star Wars Wikia which named lots of the pilots and their gunners as well as Green Group who flew Speeders as well as escorts. The Garven Dreis helmet and the pilot next to him on my image are actually listed as Green Group but they get in the Speeder directly behind Luke in ESB as he's preparing to fly out to face the Walkers. I have a photo of the other pilots in grey, red and green jumpsuits but so little of those are named I've basically mixed those up with various canon and legends sources as well as helmet options that Lego have given us. There's also pilots such as Keir Santage, Grizz Frix and Dorovio Bold from ROTJ that I've got figures for but not sure where to photograph those. Maybe another Image for ROTJ with Lando and Wedge in it too.
  8. I know I've posted at least Red Squadron before but now I've set them all up I thought I'd post them together:
  9. When you say ‘they said we were getting a UCS’, who is the ‘they’ to which you refer?
  10. Is that middle chap Rebel Friend? Excuse the other helmets. They were produced before Lego ever did them.
  11. It's still a case of putting two and two together and getting 17. I also think the issue of regional exclusives such as the bust is far more important than a small campaign for 501st BPs that Lego have already responded to by ruling them out. Either way it's not something that should end up in a 2019 rumour thread. That's how silly things start.
  12. How did ‘Lego are not doing regional exclusives anymore’ somehow get translated to ‘There might be a 501st Battlepack’?!
  13. Adding the image via a Flickr link is really easy and allows you to keep the image at a good resolution. Adding it this way also resizes them to view properly on the forum. People can then click on the image and be taken to view your Flickr account.
  14. I think Firestar’s recent additions (and I mean the last 6 months to a year) have been a big part in updating figures and especially with official Lego parts rather than third party like Clone Army Custom / BrickArms etc. I also think the community outside of EB spurs each other on and shares ideas in updating figures to make them more accurate/complete. It helps that the main designer at Firestar is a part of that community. There are other people that print SW stuff but I have to say the quality just isn’t anywhere near FS.
  15. Everything TWP said is true
  16. The figure is also on my image on the previous page. Should you wish to view it.
  17. 'Toy makers utlilise different techniques to entice different people to buy their full range of product shock'
  18. No. They're not. But no set should be defined as a success or failure purely on the minfigures included. Some of the greatest sets Lego has ever produced have had very few minifigures, and sometimes none at all. Other times a great figure selection, or even the inclusion of a single particular figure, can really enhance a set without necessarily defining it.
  19. That's big enough for anyone to want to display it. That's a decent sized build.
  20. I knew I'd noticed them doing that in the past but couldn't place where. Especially as the plain leg version was in the Wizard Battle £12 set too. But they needed him to sit in his throne at Orthanc so it makes perfect sense to just include legs also. Well they have a desk for her to sit at. Including a leg piece that cost them 0.005p to make wouldn't be too much of a stretch for them. That way the full figure would have a unique skirt piece to entice a certain demographic and you still get to keep any sitting functionality.
  21. Yeah. Sellers can get those things wrong though... remember the Nurse Joker fake? As well as the BvS Lex Luthor Convict? :) But I'm sure it has the shirt piece too. My shot from a month ago below. There's nothing to tell me this piece isn't what's in the set (before anyone asks the legs on everyone have been changed by me and I gave Leia the hood).
  22. The image on the top of the box looks like it has the skirt piece to me. I’m not 100% she’s sitting at that table but if she is they may give her legs too to enable that.
  23. This set could be released exactly as it is with a UCS label or not. It's still big enough to be a UCS set but they've just decided not to use that label in the same way the Sandcrawler didn't have it. Not every UCS set needs to be 4000+ parts and a metre long
  24. 40 years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria...
  25. To be fair I don't think Lego's model in placing exclusive figures to expensive sets has really changed since I've been back into Lego for over a decade. If anything, the figures are becoming easier to get hold of. Even on the secondary market. I'm not a completist when it comes to the entire theme but I am in regards to OT based figures and there's nothing that's been remotely OTT when it comes to trying to get hold of it. CC gave us loads of figures, several of which were exclusive... but even then we're getting CC pilots in the Advent Calendar. Most of the other exclusive figures are available very reasonably on the secondary market anyway. We got four of the Bounty Hunters in a BP and even though Zuckuss is in a £120 set to complete them he's also available for around £10-£12 on the secondary market too. That's not extravagant to me. Nothing exclusive from the Falcon except for the head prints (which most people can live without). Even figures from the DS are available at reasonable prices. It wasn't that long ago people were complaining that Vader was only in expensive sets.
