  1. Wow, that Penguin set is even better now. batman has a little respirator beneath his cowl. :) The little duck vehicle looks excellent too. Definately still gonna get this one when it comes out.
  2. I do like to see buildings a lot more than vehicles. That 2012 Batcave is my favourite Superheroes set.
  3. Looking good for new avengers sets. And it does sound more like Zola than TaskMaster to me. Still can't wait for X Men sets though. XD
  4. Yeah, definately picking up the Penguin set for sure. And ugh, I hate Damien Wayne so if that's him in the steamroller set then I probably won't be getting it (I probably won't get it even if it isn't him) That said, The penguin set is the only one of this wave I'm interested in, so I won't be getting the other sets anyway. I'm gonna save my money for the X Men line later in the year.
  5. I think the best Cyclops would be him without the hood, and a clip on visor. I know this would mean they would have to make a new hair mould and a new visor mould, but this would make the X Men set with him in a must have for me,
  6. TBH, I wasn't much of a fan, so I won't be missing it. Just goes to show, it's difficult to make a show like that work without A-list villains. The 3D models didn't really work for me. And the style wasn't really my cup of tea either. Also, Batman's face. :P Anyway, I think this is better suited to the batman thread in the community section.
  7. Welcome to Eurobricks! :)
  8. My friend told me when something was stuck on tight to try a using a rubber glove, as you get a lot more grip. It worked, but considering the small scale of the mini figs, it may not work. Worth a try though.
  9. Hmmn, Flash does look pretty good, but he isn't a priority for me. Nice figure nonetheless.
  10. I know this is a matter of opinion, but I have to disagree there.
  11. I would love to see a Cyclops with a visor acsessory instead of printed one. That would be perfect!
  12. yes, I like the new lighter blue batman, but I've always preferred the black + grey one seen in Batman TAS. Tim Drake is my fave Robin, the contrast between the black, red and yellow works for me, I much prefer it to the green, red and yellow or black, green, red and yellow coloured suits. But back on topic, I think the spiderman sets seem pretty underwhelming, I'm holding out hope that the X Men set will be really good (and will have Wolverine with his mask. :D).
  13. Ah well, the DC sets sound exciting anyway, and I'm most interested in those.
  14. It love how in the video, the Iron man rip off is called 'Iron Hero' on the box. But still this is pretty bad, if a mother mistakes it for LEGO and the brittle plastic snaps, then she won't be buying any LEGO products anymore, alienating some of Legos possible customers. But hopefully these fake LEGO should show people who are cheating out to buy the real thing, as the cheapo stuff ever takes the strength of twelve men to pull apart, or falls apart in a slight breeze.
  15. Have to agree with you there.
  16. I for sure hope for the latter, although a mixture of the two would be nice.
  17. I think I'd more likely complain about missing parts than welts in the pieces, at least you've actually got the pieces. Seems a bad set if some of the bricks are damaged in one, and in others parts are missing.
  18. I know, but it just doesn't seem like much to me, I mean they're hardly noticeable. If you asked someone who'd never seen it before to pick out the damaged bricks then they would have to get right up close, and even then will take a while to find them. It hardly hurts the aesthetic, and it just doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Sorry. :P
  19. Those markings are absolutely tiny, the only one I could see without magnifying the images was the first one. If you're displaying this, then this really shouldn't be much of a problem, it's hardly noticeable, and if you aren't displaying them, and/or you have kids that will play with it, then they won't mind at all either. Unless the brick gets damaged in a way that it is entirely unusable, then it really isn't much of a problem.
  20. Yes, the reason I joined eurobricks, and the reason I was introduced to here was the incredibly high quality reviews. I used to check around brickset, and even if I didn't care for a set, I'd still check out the indepth eurobricks reviews anyway, because, you never know, it could persuade me to buy it. Congrats on the five year anniversary for teachers and students alike, this certainly sounds like something Id want to be a part of in the future. :)
  21. Yeah, this Penguin set is a definite for me, the new Batman variant is pretty exciting. I hope it has a new mould for the cowl.
  22. love it, and as I don't have very much money, I think this will be one of the first, if not the only one I will get of the new wave. The Scuba Bats variant looks really good. I really like it.
  23. Yes, Killer moth would be awesome. :)
  24. X-mansion certainly sounds like an interesting set, and considering there will be so many new mini figures to go with it, I think it would be an excellent exclusive, as DC has had the previous two it's time for Marvel to step up. I'd very much like to see that happen, and I think it would be a good substitute for Wayne Manor, despite Batman being my favourite hero and all. DC characters also need to step up, Marvel has more of an ensemble cast in that a lot of their different characters are fan favourites, or equally liked, (Spider-man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Deadpool, the list goes on,) DC has two main, big guns, and the rest are much less well known. Ask someone who knows almost nothing about superheroes to name all the marvel characters they'd know, and they'd say all of the above in brackets, with the exception of Deadpool probably. I like some of the more obscure DC characters, but they are less well known, and could possibly be alienated by LEGOs target group, meaning they might have to be just inserted into other sets quite randomly.
  25. For an exclusive set, I'd prefer some kind of villainous hideout, even if LEGO have to make it up, it would work if a major villain stayed there. Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Batgirl could launch an ambush to foil some kind of evil plans.
