I'm not sure what to call this MOC, so anyway here's some pictures of it so far... I wanted to add this to Operation Bricklord, but life happened and I couldn't go to Brickcon this year. Oh well next year I hope. I will finish the gray building soon after I get some more gray pieces and than I will finish building the tan building in the middle after I find enough tan bricks asap. So anyway, so what do you guys think about this as a display for Brickcon 2011. I'm going add one more green 16x32 baseplate soon and more brown plates and tan plates for the road. Thnks to Flickr, BA, BMIC, and Ebay for the custom parts. Comments, questions or suggestions welcome

Hi, I'm not sure if I should get the Fire Brigade or should I get the Grand Emporium, I was thinking of saving the money for the Grand Emporium (163.10 after taxes) and than found out that the Fire Brigade is the same price. So anyway, I want a fire station that looks cool, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price, can someone tell me what the pros and cons are for both sets? Thnks in advance

Rereading the first few Harry Potter books... :)

I bought the Burrow set, it's amazing, love the set.

So I shouldn't do reviews at all than? :( I mean for me, it seems like I did a review of it which is basically just the opinion of the reviewer. Isn't a review about the reviewer's opinion? I also tried to make sure to inform the people what to expect, but thnks for the help, I'll just comment and post mocs from now on. Sorry, I'll leave it to the others to give their opinions.

Hi, I'm not sure if this will be helpful for any of you from America or Canada, but this is my thoughts and opinions that will hopefully help you decide wether or not to buy the Burrow. The front of the box It's a beautiful looking box, there's no complaints here, so here's the back of the box... http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4151/5042693515_1355c4a100.jpg' alt='5042693515_1355c4a100.jpg'> Here's the figs The double sided face of Harry Potter, it's nice to see that we have more expressions for Harry rather than that smirk he had before... Here's the heroes, this figs look amazingly interesting in my opinion, I love how far the figs came from the first HP sets to this release. Here's the bad guys... they look wicked sweet, I also love the details of the first floor... Will edit photos of each floor asap Figs = A. Harry Potter Design 4 out of 5, it's good to see more expressions, but something about the hair seems like we've seen it before B. Ginny Weasley Design 5 out of 5, the hair piece and the expressions on both sides are cool, I love that she looks almost like the actress and character from the film C. Molly Weasley Design 4 out of 5, not a bad design, but she sort of looks like a red haired grandmother than a mother of 6, but than again that's fine D. Arthur Weasly Design 5 out of 5, I think he looks good for someone whose house was burning in the box art, although it would be cool to have him as a dual head to E. Bellatrix Lestrange Design 4.5 out of 5, not a bad looking girl, although why the second face is scared, I do not know, it seems strange that she would be scared rather than creepy looking F. Fennir Design Design 4 out of 5, I forgot who this guy was, but he looks cool enough to get this rating from me and he's got a cool looking dual head which is wicked sweet The Overall Design 4.5 out of 5, my opinion is I'd recommend it to the devote Lego Harry Potter fans, but wouldn't recommend it if you just want the parts, just for parts sack. I'm hoping to collect all new Harry Potter sets later this year. So anyway.... I love the details of the dishes as well as the clock and the beds. I'm thinking of doing a review of the Hogwarts Express later this month. Post any comments or questions or suggestions for improving my future reviews

I didn't mean Britain was neutral, I meant was Britain was more focused on it's own defense after Dunkirk and wouldn't have lasted long if Germany and Japan both attacked Russia knocking her out of the war.
-
Hi, just curious what if Germany and Japan attacked Russia rather than Japan attacking America... I was watching this documentary called the Samurai and the Swastika & found out that when Germany attacked Japan was on the fence about whether to attack too. Now I just wonder, what do you guys think? If Japan and Germany knocked off Russia together would they have succeed in this or failed? I mean think about it would Russia have to fight a two front war without the support of Britain and America being neutral. For me, I'd see this as a possible out come considering Britain was focused on it's own very survival and most of Europe was under German control.

I bought up a lot of parts from Bricklink for my secret project

A Year Without Rain by Selena Gomez, I know that's kind of lame, but I don't care, her voice is pretty awesome.
-
Well anyway... congrats it's a baby boy... Basically I put a head on three round 1 x 1 plates wrapped it in tissue paper and tapped the sides of the crib to the sides. So what you guys think? This is actually suppose to be part of a gift for my older bro and sister in law who is expecting a baby boy. So what do you guys think of it so far?

Just random shoots of my newest MOC... I was going to bring this to Brickcon 2010, but suddenly I got a job and now I have to work one year before vacation time, but that's fine. Anyway here's the MOC...
-
Wow, that's amazing, just curious how long did it take to make such a beautiful creation? Anyway awesome work is all I have to say.

Here's my WWIII American soldier, will try to make a MOC showing him storming some Russian city in the year 1946. He comes with M1 Helmet, shotgun, modified fireman neck wear, and backpack. What do you guys think of him? Awesome? Or what?
-
Awesome, thanks so much, those are amazing.
-
Cool soldiers, however could you explain a bit more of their story and why you choice them. I never heard of these soldiers and now I might look into what they were like.
-
That's awesome, just need to ask two things: One can you make the skin light flesh instead of yellow and lastly what's the main colors for the Vichy French and Canadian uniforms (I just need to know so I can look up the right torso on Bricklink), thanks.
-
I'd like decals for Vichy French Italian soldiers Canadian infantry British Infantry Japanese infantry Thanks for taking my request

Hi, I just was curious does anyone like writing poems when they're bored or just in the mood? I wrote a poem, but wasn't sure if anyone would like it or not. It's entitled Lego is not just a toy... here it is... Lego is not just a toy To me, it’s a doorway A doorway to worlds Worlds that I can only imagine In my dreams and fantasies As I build scenes from bricks Bricks made of plastic They become more than just pieces of plastic They become what I want They become a ship of the line A city of happy wondering people Chatting together, telling their own individual stories A Lego minifigure is not just a small plastic part No, it’s a person like Barbie or GI Joe A minifigure is unique Unique in it’s a pirate on sailing across oceans Or a cop chasing down bad guys through the city Or a Jedi knight from a galaxy far away Or anything that the person dreams of Lego is not just a toy It is a wonderfully unique Ageless, timeless and ever changing dream Of every child who wishes to be taken To be taken on a journey Journey to worlds, times and places beyond Their reaches, yet they feel real That's most of it, I didn't know how to end it, so I stopped there, any comments or suggestions? Or does anyone else want to share poems that they wrote? Don't be shy, it would be awesome to read others poetry and to talk about it as well.

Hi, just curious if you have not alot of one specific part for a project, and you have projects that are gathering dust with the specific piece needed for your new project. What I'm asking is how would you manage with a small collection of bricks and such? I'm just curious who here keeps all of their creations and how long should a creation "live" or "die" (be torn apart to be harvested for parts), if anything do you keep a lego creation for show and tell if you have guests. What's your input on this matter if any? For me personally I love lego because it's universal and because I take pictures of most of my creations and if they look amazingly good keep them for a year and than take it apart. Anyway I just was curious to how you guys manage your bricks.

Thanks guys for the suggestions and all, oh and I did make it a bit shallower in my latest attempt... BTW the dictionary says a fox hole is a shallow pit dug by a soldier in combat for immediate refuge against enemy fire. Here's my latest attempt at a fox hole...
