Looks like another good step in the right direction, like the new town sets. Still a bit <insert that tiresome argument>, but getting much better.

This looks like a very good step in getting back to the old style town lego sets before juniorization. I haven't bought a town set since they started the junior sets(beside the 7905 crane), that will probably change this year.

That sounds cool, do you have any pics of it?

Anybody else think the Landing Craft looks a bit <insert that tiresome argument>?

I just wonder why they would re-release this instead of a real classic castle set.

I hear what you're saying. I personally feel that way far more about the system sets, though. Some of the newer Technic sets I quite like. 8455 being my personal favorite.

They look ok, certainly better than their predecessors. But does anybody else feel like they're just missing something that the old 90's trains and other line of sets had? A certain quality, something I can't quite explain. Other than Star Wars and few other exceptions, the newer sets just don't seem to have that same quality to them IMO. Unlike in the 80's-90's when every set had that quality and feel to it. That's just my two cents though.

The crane is awesome. I don't like the truck much though.

These sets make me long even more for late 80's to mid 90's sets.
