Assuming the leaks are real, it's about time the ninja had unique outfits again. Nya's latest outfit (which has not appeared in the show yet) looks far too similar to Kai's given that they both use red as a secondary color.

...what massive Antman? I'm well aware of that. We've known since Season 4 that the Giant Stone Warrior was being held in Kryptarium, and the whereabouts of Kuzo and the rest of the Stone Army is unknown to this day. But we've never seen a four-armed Bigfig before, and unless it's brick-built (which is a possibility I dread) there's no feasibly way LEGO is going to produce it. Besides, the price of the Kryptarium set wouldn't allow for a set of any real substance if it were to include a Bigfig or brick-built figure. It would require a massive scale-down to the point where it's going to be just another Stone Warrior.

How can it be the Giant Stone Warrior? That thing is twice the size of a Bigfig, if not larger, there's no way LEGO is going to put it in set form.

I think it's pretty difficult to mistake that for:

Bit dark for a kid's show. It also makes everything we've seen so far to do with Nya a complete waste.- 4,591 replies

Not necessarily. Nadakhan twists words easily and frequently (see: Monkey Wrench), so there's a chance with even the most innocent wish that Nadakhan could use that final wish to his advantage. Even so, the conditions under which Nadakhan can take a soul for the Djinn Blade may only be limited to someone making their final wish regardless of what they wished for (and what was granted). I'm getting the feeling that if this season goes down the route of "villain wins" that Jay will use his final wish to wish all of what happened away. Or Nadakhan's goal completely backfiring on him.- 4,591 replies

Well, at first it very clearly was. Zane's HUD, PIXAL's chip being inserted into the back of his head and PIXAL's general design really gave the idea that it was a HALO reference. They haven't really done anything with it since then, so it's kind of lost it's status over time as "pop culture reference".- 4,591 replies

Well, Cole being a jerk is a good thing. It means any and all ways he's been growing on me as of late are back to square one and i can regard him as the Hufflepuff of the team again.- 4,591 replies

Unfortunately, you're right. I get the feeling that with the "villains unite" wave coming up, this might be the last we see of regular NINJAGO for a while, or ever again, so it's not too far-fetched to believe that they might just assign random realms to be certain things because they'll never get around to exploring them all. -

Actually, Jay wasn't being careful at all. When he wished for new parents and a lot of money, there are at least a dozen absolutely awful things Nadakhan could have done with that wish (eg, crime boss parents). His second wish was arguably even more stupid, because he wished he wasn't alone with Nadakhan. So that could have meant any number of things: the police could show up, Ronin might have destroyed the door, the Fangpyre might have appeared, and, of course, the Sky Pirates themselves.- 4,591 replies

I was pretty disappointed when I saw her there. Dogshanks is... weird, and having a deadly assassin-esque pirate would have been nice. So far Flintlocke and Nadakhan are the only interesting characters. The monkey is starting to annoy me, though.- 4,591 replies

Ooh, just as I was cooking some garlic bread, too This episode was absolutely fantastic! Despite my glowing praise for this episode, it was really the last few minutes that decided for me whether or not it would be a mediocre episode with good points, or a great episode. Anyway, that about sums up my thoughts for this episode. I'm glad to see that NINJAGO's back to form already after Possession. I've been worried they had jumped the shark, so to speak, but they might not have just yet. Thanks to NinjaJayNuva, your contributions to the community are much appreciated- 4,591 replies

To be honest I thought the reporters were the most obnoxious attempts at an ironic news reporter parody LEGO has ever done (which isn't saying much, since LEGO hasn't done very many). The pink one just seemed very sub-standard attempt at recreating Daniella Capricorn from Hero Factory, who was actually a great side-character. -
NINJAGO website is back up. It's just a layout redesign and some new artwork, nothing special.

The design of the Realm Crystal bunker was heavily reminiscent of Zurg's Fortress from Toy Story 2. I would assume that's the fault of the animators, the village they visited was a visually updated version of the one Lou lived in. Can't believe I didn't notice this in the episode.- 4,591 replies

Loved this episode far more than the first. I think that's it. It was a solid episode in spite of its flaws, and the first episode I've truly enjoyed for quite a while. I'm probably not going to get around to posting my thoughts on Episode 1, so I'll just say that while I didn't like the episode I'm glad they've hinted that Nadakhan isn't just "mwahahahaha evil", even if it went nowhere.- 4,591 replies

The difference is, is that the writers of NINJAGO conveniently forget that spinjitzu exists in 9 out of 10 episodes, and hearing a bunch of people scream "Ninja-GO!" is infinitely less cheesy than a 30 second song and dance number that advertises an advertisement inside of a commercial. It's a distracting sequence, it goes on for far longer than needed for their silly app gimmick and it breaks the flow of the scene. Having not seen the 3rd minisode (or paid any attention to character names outside the main cast), I thought you were talking about Chima for a moment there.
