Hi all,
I only just now registered on these forums, after reading a lot of post, mostly reviews of technic sets.
A couple of months ago I emerged from my dark ages and bought some technic boxes to expand my 30+ years old collection with some fresh pieces (without the bite marks).
What I like most is building official technic models and then modify them to make them more playable or esthetically pleasing. The last model I build and modified was the 8453 front end loader. It's a sweet little machine but I thought it would benefit from conversion to pneumatics and of course the function to tilt the bucket needed to be activated from the rear as well.
I've been refining this MOC for the last 2 weeks while on holiday, with a small box of spare parts to use, so I had to be creative to make it work and representable with limited resources; just the kind of building I enjoy the most.
Yesterday I installed LDD and recreated the moc.The bucket and pneumatic parts I had to leave out and I could not hinge-alingn everything correctly so had to leave out one axle.
Whomever feels like using the lxf to further refine and complete the model feel free to do so but please share a link to the amended lxf in this thread so others can enjoy it as well.
