  1. Hello! Could you share here what are your secrets in the way, preventing our Lego collection to get more and more dust, discoloration and so on. I keep my built sets in a cupboard like bookcase. Especially for BSB's sails, to avoid they get dusty and not crisp- what can I do, besides putting in the box:)))
  2. Here is my collection, still awaiting 6274 Caribbean Clipper ΠΈ 6277 Imperial Trading Post. All found new since January:
  3. Hello! Do you know what is the influence of the dust on the lego? I am keeping my lego away from direct sunlight, but cannot fight enough with the dust. I don't mind my lego to be dusty, but not if this will be danger and destructive for it in long time. What do you think?
  4. And do you like it like this with cover above the jail? Here:
  5. Thanks a lot, my friend! I already ordered some bluecoat minifigs, not because of some other intention, but because I think that with them Eldorado would looks very rare and special- considerable that they are out of sale at present days. Of course I am going to use the heads from the latest generation minifigs:)) It's pity that there is not blue flag, made by soft plastic like the new red ones...
  6. :))))))))))))))))))))))) Thanks! The problem is that I couldn't find the blue ones on acceptable price...;(((
  7. Final version: here is the entire album with pics of this mod: http://img39.imageshack.us/g/p2040176.jpg/
  8. Yes, that's I am gonna do...just waiting my parts and will post update pics here:)
  9. I was speaking about BSB Size..not any smaller. I think 3 middle hull parts are more than enough for pirate ship. 3 masts ship starts to remind me for cargo or imperial war ship. But as I said is just my taste and opinion, I don't force anybody to get agree with me;) Anyway, we have great mod here!!! Good job! here is one of my beta stages I made of this ship, the third mast (not real mast) I added because liked SES looking a lot!: sorry for the crappy taken pictures I made on quick..:(
  10. It looks very nice. Just my opinion is that ship that long is not very "piratish". I prefer smaller size, more dark colors, definitely two masts for my taste. It should reminds of poor pirate's life, dark times, a lot of alcohol:))))))
  11. Thank you! I just did an order and will get yellow bricks and plates in a few days. I jist don't like both in tan, because I really felt in love with ElDorado Fortress, because of this beautiful for me combination of white and yellow. Do you guys think that I should replace whole army to be French- means blue, or leaving like that is ok. My point was that there is no more french soldiers produced in present days, and the quality of the red ones like painting and etc. is better just because the are new generations of Lego mini-figs. What do you think? Also in the stores - they want around 40$ for 5 new soldiers..;(
  12. Thank you for all of yours suggestions. Personally I don't like the idea of making one base with both sets. It's rather an idea to develop Eldorado Fortress, and make some kind of trading post next to it. I liked the idea of putting some yellow elements on the Imperial Fort. Would you give me some suggestions which elements exactly would appear best in yellow?
  13. Edit: Final version: here is the entire album with pics of this mod: http://img39.imageshack.us/g/p2040176.jpg/
  14. That's difficult answer to your question, involving all kinds of boats on the back on all lego pirates ships released with this equipment on it...in matter of fact there is no real "humanly" way to get to the boat...may be jump or through the back windows...who knows:)))) but you are right! May be I should try put some stair falling from the top deck or something...
  15. That's what I did- removed the back cannon and build more solid the top deck and the captain cabin itself..look at this:
  16. Thank you, guys!!! I am very glad you liked it!
  17. That is my second version and probably last one like size of the BBB. In this style it looks more "piratish"..What do you think? Now I am waiting for my parts to build the side docks and more details arround the captain room. http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/1455/pc300051.jpg http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/6331/pc300052.jpg http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/5517/pc300054.jpg http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/4230/pc300055.jpg http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/1279/pc300056.jpg http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/9611/pc300057.jpg http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/2773/pc300058.jpg
  18. Thank you to all of you!! You all were my inspiration to remember how I felt many years ago with my first lego's touch. About the cannons- I have 9 of them- there is just no space for more.. Now I ordered more parts to build the side decks and the front one- I would like to make the front deck larger that it covers the first pair of cannons, just like I did with the back one. Also I wish to expand the pirat room- would add one more window for the side- to be with three, but don't have clear idea how to do it yet.. If you have more suggestions- I am glad to hear them! Thank you! I did modifications of the front and the back deck- just made them expanded. then some small details to all over the ship. Added third mast, back seal, and mast's observatory. I like a lot your mod of BBB, will take some ideas for the side's deck if you allow this;)
  19. [/img] I am open to any suggestions!
