Went & bought 20 Series 3, did really well & managed to avoid the crappy Cyborg & got most of the ones I wanted: 2x Rapper, 2x Baseball Player, 2x Tennis player, 2x Sumo, 2x Elf, 1x Gorilla Guy, 3x Race Car Driver, 1x Hula Girl, 1x Snowboarder, 1x Samurai, 1x Fisherman, 1x Pilot, 1x Alien The dots are pretty hard to decipher, I managed to pick out some of them & tried random selection with the rest, got lucky with only the alien that I'm not fussed for really, duplicates of the rapper, baseball player, tennis player & sumo that I wanted plus extra elf & 2 extra race car drivers

Visiting various locations & purchasing what was available

30 straight & 16 curved 9V train track, 9v speed regulator & some other train parts

Been BOGOF in Smiths for ages but they're ridiculously overpriced so you're not actually saving much (For example, they sell 3177 Small car for £4.99 each, Asda & Tesco sell it for £3.49) Went hunting for S3 minifigs at one of my local Argos Extras, they haven't got them in stock yet (Scotland) but as I turned to walk out I noticed some sets marked as clearance in the baskets where the till queues are & picked out 2x 3177 Small Car reduced to £2.99 each Had a few Star Wars Battlepacks reduced on clearance too but didn't bother with them. Maybe worth checking your local stores for clearance bargains

Did you note the price? Just looked on Argos's website, they don't have S3 listed but show S2 priced at £2.03 with the VAT increase!

I'm very open about my Lego hobby. My fiancee encourages me to build, my parents & future in laws buy me Lego for Birthdays & Christmas. Most people where I work part time (Toys-R-Us) know about my obsession... comes to that so do a lot of customers when I'm working the Lego wall & trying to do the hard sell
