  1. You must be looking at different pics from the rest of us, the pictures on the box clearly show gold chrome bars. They're not chrome gold?
  2. Makes no difference, they show one thing & supply a different thing is false advertising! You wouldn't be happy going & picking a brand new car, all nice & shiny with alloy wheels & when you go & pick it up, it be supplied with steel wheels & wheel trims!
  3. Seriously disappointed with this set now! Not only do we have more of those hidious Ninjago style skeleton arms & legs (Seriously, what was wrong with the original ones? The new ones suck!!) but the shiny gold has turned into a load of crap too! Hopefully there was a glitch & they mistakenly packed uncoated ones in your box! They showed shiny ones in the pre release pics & even show them on the box! TLG need to be careful if they've changed to the uncoated versions (Fools gold) for the actual release & left the shiny ones in the picture on the packaging, they could possibly be in breach of false advertising as it's not as shown in the picture on the cover
  4. Easy to spot it's a mock up, the packets haven't been sealed at the top
  5. For those who live in Scotland (In particular those who can get to Edinburgh), Jenners department store are due to expand their Lego stock drastically! Been told they've got 3 pallets of Lego being delivered during the next week (They don't know what however). They also have S4 minifigs
  6. Try & track Fire House I down, it's an excellent set, so much so I had one new & it was one of the first sets I repurchased when leaving my dark age! So much better than the ones released since Today I bought 2 white & black Lego cows
  7. how much?! Really don't consider it to be worth anywhere near that, £45 tops! Reckon this could end up as a dust gatherer which will end up seriously lowered in price!
  8. Try somewhere like Screwfix or Toolstation. Maplin do them as well: http://www.maplin.co.uk/organizer-storage-cabinets-29163?c=88114
  9. I picked up a copy, saw the price & swiftly put it back! Refuse to pay over the odds for the figs!!
  10. Some of the UK ones have had 2 scientists & others 4. Seems to be mixed
  11. Same technique can be used for the scientist, feel for the hair, it's squishy so easy to find
  12. Which Argos did you try? Glasgow Fort have theirs in one of the metal baskets where the clearance items are usually set out by the till line when I went in yesterday. Still haven't found S4 in Tesco Bellshill yet, they certainly had the previous 2 series but so far for S4... nada!
  13. Fantastic MOC, I'm part way through designing an art deco cinema for my town (When I get around to building it!) Art Deco & your take on it
  14. 5x Collectable minifigs = 2x Footballers, 1x Hockey Player, 1x Monster, 1x Surfer
  15. Those printed windows remind me of the printed ones you got on the Tente clone brand boats!
  16. That's really fantastic! Certainly one of the best MOCs seen for a while. Any chance of close up pics of the VW camper, 2CV & fishing boats?
  17. http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=92592
  18. I do exactly the same thing!
  19. You know you're a fan of Lego when... you buy a collection & can spot a clone part amongst the rest of the bricks a mile away! (Even a 2x4 plate face down!)
  20. Similar to mine! Largest quantities I have are policemen & firemen followed by robbers!
  21. 12 Series 4 figs, 1 artist, 1 Hazmat guy, 1 punk & 9 mad scientists (Got them for the flasks)
  22. Decided to try a different tactic, listed 2 lots of 50 for £150 each lot: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lego-Collectable-Minifigures-minifig-8684-Spartans-x50-/220763697033?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item33668aaf89 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lego-Collectable-Minifigures-minifig-8684-Spartans-x50-/220763697969?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item33668ab331
