  1. They did not have it at the Natick location, though they do have them at the Braintree Lego Store (Massachusetts)! I RIDE!
  2. Wonderful, I'm going to see if the Natick Lego store has the pack. :D
  3. Well, this week I want to buy the Imperial Flagship part 2, and now this comes along to entice me and mai waifu. DARN YOU, LEGO! Any news when this will be US bound?
  4. Well, since I had the luxury of having one of the sails already, I: measured the existing sail, popped that into paint shop pro, cropped and resized it to the proper dimensions, took the before and after pixel length, figured out the percentage, and then applied the resize to the sail I'm missing. It worked, the 1:1 scans need to be resized to 46-47% for a 600 dpi printer. Next time I'm going to deepen the saturation because the colors are lighter when they print.
  5. So far, I have; Crown Kingdom (Fantasy) Mainly unedited as of yet fantasy sets, with a custom Prince made of soldier torso, dark blue pants, generic head with red eyebrows, reddish-brown hair, and gold epaulettes from the pirate line. Orcs (Fantasy) Ditto as above, no custom editted figures. Skeletons and Witches Fantasy Skeleton sets along with various dragons and other beasts, including the sea serpent from the Viking Ship. The witches are different castle witches, though I am looking to include some custom ones from Harry Potter sets. The Warlock from the fantasy line chills with them. Lion Kingdom (crusaders) Right now, they're camped out in the Batlord castle minus the witch's tower (which I have with the above kingdom), and a custom guarded town center made from various pieces, like the blacksmith's shop and guarded inn. I'm working on making the full collection of modular parts AND a real lion castle, unfortunately I never snagged the original big castle. This kingom I'm working on the most to expand. Black Falcons I have a mountain fortress MOC as their main base, complete with a crypt in the basement. My first castle set was the Black Falcon's fortress, and I used many of those pieces to create this MOC. Main custom Falcon minifigs. I view them as more of a hidden, assassin-esque faction. Dragon Clan A demon faction of soldiers bound to the Dragon Lord (who right now, is the evil Chess King from Knight's kingdom). The real Dragon Lord is working with the Lions to secure his throne back. I MOC'd a large black castle with dragon elements for this theme, with Stingrays Minifigs as his custom Dragon elite. Emperor of the East A few ninja themed buildings centered around the small Emperor's stronghold. I hope Lego announces more Ninja playsets so I can expand on this. Coastal Empire Mainly Imperial themes from the Pirates lines, I have them a part of the Lion Kingdom serving as the Navy. Mercenary factions Red Ninjas Led by the Ninja Princess, I'm working on a MOC castle/hideout for her and her soldiers. White Knight and his ragged band Mainly elements from the batlord set as they were ousted from their castle, along with various other knights minifigs which don't fit with any particular set. Pirates Yarrrrrrgh.
  6. Sort of. An earlier poster mentioned opening it up in Paint Shop Pro (which I did) and I'm trying to find the right ratio. Edit; 46-47% resize came out closest to my printer (600 dpi).
  7. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! The sail I'm missing is 10-20 on bricklink, and this makes a quick replace easier until I have the money to go shopping and actually buy one. Question; What printing settings should I use to print these.? I've been testing the scans out. I'm missing the big sail for my Imperial Flagship (the first one). Since I have the other two sails, I've been messing with the numbers (dpi, ratio, etc.) trying to find the right settings. I'd rather not waste anymore ink if someone can help. I've checked the thread and did not find a clear answer. Thank you in advance.
  8. A great addition to this theme, and to bridge the fantasy and kingdoms lines, would be to make a MMV-type tavern/travellers inn set, and have the various minifigs include an orc, a dwarf, and maybe a minifig from an older set redone ala pirates and space police III. Considering these sets are calling back to prior sets, an exclusive 'guarded inn' redone with those minifigs would be an epic set.
  9. I was little when my parents bought me the 'Forbidden Island' set (my first pirate), and it had a shooting cannon. When I was older, I asked for the '92 Imperial flagship, and it came with the non-shooting cannons. I never thought anything about it at the time, since the shooting came with a pirate set, and the non-shooting (featuring the Imperial logo) came with the Imperial ship. I always just thought the pirates, being bad, would have an actual weapon.
  10. I managed to get the Emperor's Stronghold, Bandit Surprise, and Shoguns boat. All three are great sets. I wish Lego would dabble with the ninja line again. Signed!
  11. This weekend past, me and my fiancee were at the Natick Collection Lego store in Mass, and she picked up a minifig three pack. One minifig she made was of a fireman (which didn't suffer from the cheap plastic), but the other two were Pirate women. Both torsos, one the black pirate woman the other a white Imperial maiden, were of the cheap plastic. The gold paint on the white torso is significantly duller. Both feature duller paints and the overall plastic just feels cheaper. The hands are harder to rotate wrist-wise. She is a bit disapointed, since she was able to compare these with her other female pirate minifigs that are of the normal Lego quality. Another odd thing, they have the white maid torso but no maiden bottom. How odd.
  12. I'm 27, and my first Lego set was the Black Falcons fortress (I recently rebuilt it). Now that I am older I've gotten back into Legos along with my wife. She prefers town while I prefer the Castle sets. I got back into things with the current fantasy line. I do like the current fantasy line, though I will think of this newer line as a continuation with new factions. Do I hope they redo the older sets like they did with the Pirates? YES! I would love some Falcons sets, some Black Knights, and even a few updated fright nights, especially with all the new spooky pieces that the skeletons provided. If Lego were smart, they'd go back to modular design and include plans that if you have 2 or 3 models, you can combine them into bigger sets. I remember the older space Sets (M-Tron was one) used to do that, and as a kid I became obsessed with finding all of the sets to make the big model. Jester and Wizard impulses are rather obtuse, business-wise. The Star Wars amry packs have to be big sellers (I always see decent shelf space allocated for them), making army builders for this line would be prudent.
