Ok, I'm going to lock this thread. Basically, let it go. People have their opinions and on the internet, they're not going to be swayed. What is is, no use straining each other over it. Let's shake hands, and stop going back and forth .

No, I don't think so. BF and BA are LEGO custom companies, that is to say, they make custom pieces to complement LEGO figures, etc. So in this regard, they can be grouped on the LEGO side of the line. Megabloks, however, is taking away from LEGO, copying a couple parts and throwing in a couple of their own parts. Short to say, they hurt TLC more than they do complement it. So when we see something that hurts our beloved brand, expect to have a push by some, but we also expect a push back, and this could just go on and on and on and annoyingly on. But this is all besides the point. This is a LEGO website, and it's just odd to see that we have three (more than three, really) threads on clone brands and what have you. Just as Siegfried the Walrus says, it comes down to those three things. We are a LEGO website, "Uniting LEGO Fans around the world", right? This not to say those who like other brands should not be on this site, but rather that we should just stop bickering about this, accept the fact, and go back to building our bricks and sharing them with the Internet world. I've always saw Community as a place to share your other hobbies, away from building with bricks (well, unless you're a bricklayer, too ), and converse with each other on other matters. Bringing LEGO or other brands in here is just out of place. But that's my view.

The LEGO version has Conchman. Megabloks, however, does not have Conchman. Therefore, Megabloks loses.

I agree with that, too. When I hosted my game, I had majority necessary. It literally stopped the game from progressing meaningfully during the day. I really liked this system of voting, which creates a nice edge and keeps the game moving. Nothing worse than no convictions.

Ooh, I'm definitely not going to miss this next one. You also thought that Dwaggy and Hinck could have been Siblings, since Dragonator was hesitant in killing Hinckley. That's a role (among the bazillion others), that I didn't know, and found it interesting.

Well, you never said anything about not telling the results, so I took liberties there Though, I'm not sure if I would have given it to Hinck, per se (the original idea wasn't to confuse Hinck), it just came to be that he said he had some info, and it looked like a good opportunity to feed the info. I was ready to post in the thread right away, but I figured I'd probably get turned on by Bear and everybody else. I seriously imagined it going completely different Next time I'm scum and townies come to me, I'm just going to say: "Go away, I don't want to lie to you" I doubt people will PM me in any future games I play (Still not sure if I wanna do Werewolf) I need to take a shower, too.

Draggy I definitely agree with, but me? Thanks But in all honesty, I probably would have killed myself if it weren't for our back-to-back protection. I hadn't played a mafia since Witch Hunt and the games I was in I only joined half way through. Sure I won them all, but this was my first full Mafia game to play in. But I'd have to give a big hand to Arjay. My jaw is still on the ground of how you pulled out of that one ! We were really just lucky, but I think that stems from the confusion of the insanes from all of these roles. Either way, things could have gone a completely different way and we'd still be whining about it. Anything goes. It's just that what happened happened. As I mentioned to Hinck in a PM, if we brought the Scooby gang in here (to get Blutziegel to yell out that famous line), we'd probably just end up killing them all.

Hey, I was just being clever . No, actually, our descriptions said about roughly half could be converted and by that point (Day 5), we had to start of thinking of converting. I got the question right (much to my glee and self-esteem), so I figured it was the right thing to ask. But def's right, it was mainly just a confirmation thing. By then, Henry still asked everybody who voted correctly, so it was before Rick figured out he could limit Henry's reach. Rufus was just in the gang. I was a little sad to miss out on the last ones, though. Henry's such the fun one. So, is Henry just in our heads? Who was he really? For me, it was a pretty easy game. All I had was a few brush ins with death and to make sure I was consistent in my alibi. But I relatively had not much to do. I didn't do as much behind the scenes as Draggy or the others; it was just the Sinisters, Petey (which ended after that affair), and Hinckley (And the short lived Scooby Gang ). But even though I was sinister, I was just as confused with all these roles. We had the benefit of not really caring of killing independent/insane, but roles like Yumi's or ThePenguin's could have caused us trouble. As interesting as they are, I have to agree that they should have just been townies. We completely wiped them out.
