Great monorail! Simple looking build with some lovely greebly bits. When I first saw it (on Flickr) I didn't think of steam punk, but rather something of a futuristic city. Great build, nevertheless

I. Love. Minecraft. Uh, . It's very enjoyable for me, especially when I'm away and can't build with my LEGO :) ! I've done the vanilla, build your world, dig the mines forever, get lost in the mines forever, finally get out, build more stuff, oops, I need MORE of this block, go get lost for another four hours thing. Now I mod my game and have fun building whatever I want with TooManyItems and using other mods to make for an even more fun game. Right now I'm having a ball with redstone circuitry, trying to build whatever I can with it. I love pistons. Did I mention I love pistons? I'll say it again, just so you know. I love pistons. Addicted, me? Noooooooooo I also support an EB server.

Belville Mafia: confirmation/discussion
Scouty replied to Quarryman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ever heard of Witch Hunt Mafia? It's one of Hinck's most favorite games ! Good luck everybody, hope you're all in for an exciting game! -
It is an epic poem, unlike all the others. It tells the story of one man, who had it all, until he took it...too far. One man must defeat his enemies or perish, facing betrayal, revenge, and love. In an epic action film staring Hinckley, Siegfried, and the blue bucket, Scouty Productions present: Eurobricks Emoticons: Blue Bucket Another Day.

Well, I'll give you my secret. I go to a place, a large place, that is like a canvas. Thousands of workers mine and place each pixel. Once everything is placed, the emoticon is digitized, shrunken, and produced here for your enjoyment ! Thanks
-
Iz asked for a condescending emote and provided that picture. It only made sense to just make that guy into pixel form

Please enjoy (and not abuse! like a drink.) I had lots of fun creating each one and thanks to def and iamded for creating some great emotes and to a host of others for great suggestions for me And thanks to Hinck for putting them in the system out of his busy schedule ! Now gimme that award!!!

Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives
Scouty replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
One life of cute furry animal killing was enough for me, so I think I'll sit this one back ! I do look forward to following the game, though ! -
I'd say a good alternative to super glue is model cement, which I don't think is as dangerous sticky as super glue. The benefit is that it is basically a liquid and can be applied with a brush. As I describe it, it more melts the two plastic pieces together, rather than being the bonding agent itself. I've used it on models and it's great stuff. This is what I used:

Ahhhh, the lovely shades of green ! It's so nice to have something different now than the winter skin.

That's what I get when I've played mostly scum. I don't have a good sense of what is the right emotions...I try my best... The emoticons are a great tool to convey your emotions/false emotions. I guess their overuse has made them relatively useless.

Thank you. To say it simply, I'm too much of a drama queen, so I get away with those "do dee do's" and faces. Apparently it wasn't so convincing this time around... I agree I was overly excited and really should have been more reserved in taking action and planning ahead. I only posted what was from my raw mind, I didn't take too much care to sculpt it. Though, I did everything without the intention of ignoring Arjay, sorry if that's what happened sometimes . I was posting what would be the best solution from my point of view, which was rather weak and depended on other's information more. The one problem, though, was that I was so active that I couldn't sit still to wait and plan. It became very nerve-wracking towards the middle of the game as it got quieter and quieter and kept clicking refresh refresh refresh . Thanks, again, for the critique and hopefully next time, as scum, I'll be scary scum. I based my past experience in bloodbrick as scum and mostly applied it here, but it didn't work so well. I didn't really learn scumminess all that much from Bloodbricks. So, I believe, since I failed in this game, I have the better opportunity to learn from my mistakes and seeing what works or not . I'd love to be town for once, though, you know

I only had 1 PM thread this whole game, and that was with Rufus, which I should have been much less liberal in my thoughts in there . Not counting the scum writeboard and the dead writeboard, too, and Hincks confirmation.

Happy early birthday Iz !!

Oh, deary, I'm so devilish

Thanks for the summary, Hinck! Before you read on, I want reiterate I loved this game so much, and is my favorite, in terms of presentation, story, characters, and the thrill of it. However, I'd only really say the game was somewhat balanced, if not balanced more towards town. It may just be me, and I should probably shut up , but these are my thoughts. I feel that if one thing failed for the town, there would be something to correct that. If one thing failed for the scum, that was it. I like the structure of the game, but it seems like that it only delayed (or at least prevent a complete wipeout) the inevitable of the scum's fall. There was hardly a night where we held up top. Here are some things that I did not like: Resurrections, this is obvious. It merely undermines our work and adds another layer to the town's protective wall. The scum didn't have one revival and the town two. Recruitments. We did not have the ability to recruit. Our only consolation in this was to get the serial killer, and so the max number of scum there could have been was 6. Though having an extra kill was helpful, if one of us with killing actions died, we'd lose the killing action. When I read we couldn't recruit, I had that *bad* feeling that we would lose. If we were losing numbers, we had nothing to bump our numbers up. What sort of evil organization doesn't have good propaganda Then there are the masons who could recruit and confirm them town. How could the scum go against that? Kill them? Maybe. Which leads me to my next point. 50/50 protection for the Masons. WHAT!? How on earth could we go against that? And the 50/50 could have gone any way. We got lucky with Rick and Draggy (Sorry guys ), but the game could have been SO much different had I been able to kill Rufus (who was an amazing player, and therefore a threat ). When that happened, I knew we were doomed. It's just too big of an obstacle for us to get over in the end. This brings me to another point. Protections. Not only do the Masons have protections, but there is also a town protector and a protecting orb out there. It's too much, I think. For us, we had the 50/50 protection and NO protector. I prefer it this way, because then we didn't have to worry which one of us to protect. The attacks on us could have gone either way. I could have died on Night 1.. These are the main reasons why I think that the town would win eventually and the scum would inevitably lose. It was too high of a wall for us to get over, even though we did get up pretty close. We could've helped prevent this, by getting those riddles (which I do love, but I did not like that actions could be redistributed), but the times of the riddles did not work for any of us and even if we did, I don't think it would've stopped the inevitable. That's just how I feel though. Anything could have happened, but with what we just went through, these are my thoughts.

Yes and no. At the start we had an investigation action to find the serial killer. Once we got Shadows into our team ( what fat lot of good that did us ) the investigation action went away and I suppose turned into watcher night action. Badboy can probably tell the specifics.
-
Consider us (or at least me) confused Quarryman picked up the block action after Zeph died and I picked it up from Quarry when he died. All of our actions trickled down when one of us died (I picked up the Arsonist action after Shadows died and dropped the crow kill). If we had two actions, we had to choose which one we wanted. Like Arjay had a choice of watcher or the poison kill. I also think he should have taken the poison kill, but the watcher action was also useful.

The blocker was Ricecracker, I believe. In the day 9 opening the last picture, I believe, showed us consoling our targets. Rufus with Cornellius, you with Inconspicuous and Ricey on me ( to which I referred to as "Ricey licking my ear" . It also shows a confused Fugazi. At least, those are my deductions Admittingly, I played like crap! I knew you guys were suspicious of me, but I didn't know I was doing such a bad job

As I recall, the kidnapping action also acted as a framing action, but only if the person kidnapped was being investigated that same night. We were told that when it worked successfully on def. Here's my character info.
