I'm a new/returning-after-several-years member of this site, and I'm having some issues getting Bluerender to work. I had been able to use it on my previous computer, running Windows 7, but it was at the end of its life and I had to get a new computer running Windows 10. I transferred my files over to the new computer, installed Java 8 and LDD, but when I try to launch Bluerender I get this error screen: http://i.imgur.com/FYEA29x.png I had tried to fix this on my own by uninstalling and reinstalling both LDD and Bluerender, but I continued to get the error message. I looked in the folder where I had installed LDD, and I can't find the database file where the wiki says it should be. At one point, Bluerender prompted me to locate where the db.lif file was, and not finding it anywhere, I mistakenly clicked on the Assets.lif. I've continued to get the earlier error screen since then, and I'm worried I messed myself up at some point along the way. I tried checking the FAQs and reading through some of this topic, but I didn't find anything describing my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you going as for halloween?
not-in-use-anymore replied to ProducePrincess's topic in Community
The trick is to have 2 or 3 visit intervals so they won't know it'll happen to them. I am going to be The Invisible Mustache Afro Pilsbury Dough Boy Hobo With Not Real Hamburger And Lightsaber Left Over From When I was Darth Maul. Not Real Hamburger is for Chipotle so I can get a $2 "boo-rito". Yes, I am indeed serious. Indeed. -
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bga9PKld9Lc&feature=related The double story thing seems like it could get confusing... I'll definitely say this is the biggest Lego game so far. 100s of battlings droids and clones can't be bad compared to the Battle of Naboo in TCS(which only included a few scenes with maybe only a tenth of the actual droids ). I don't understand how Anakin can breathe in space, I don't see any cover for the minifig area. (and the bricks don't match in scale inside and outside the ship ) This one video really exceeds my first expectations of the game. -
The lol-Dobby is really funny if you actually imagine Dobby's weird voice (in the movie, of course ).

I should have made it clearer on the "I think" and "...for now." . Black or white would be good also . -

It's okay for me, at least I didn't have to go to Bricklink(which I barely ever use anymore) and they're the only ones I've seen in a store. I don't care which specific ones I get, but I'll try to not get multiples again. -

New pics on Lego.com, they look amazingly realistic. It looks like 2 clones are ready for halloween! -

I don't read this topic that much(it's mostly saying where you found them and when) but I saw 11 at Borders and bought 6: Karate guy Cop Singer Cop Lifegaurd Cop I wish I got something else instead of the Cop 3 times in a row(and they were $4 each ). At least I'll know it's a safe spot from the Collecting Vampires. -
I've been to the one down in Orlando once, about a fourth of it was filled up by people with walkers or wheelchairs. My closest Lego store(luckily it's not a 2 hour trip there or anything ) is alot wider than the one in the pics(Unless it's just the angle?). I'd like to see a picture of one outside of a mall.

I;m pretty sure the Great hall looks smaller because it's farther away, the first Great Hall is better IMO. My favorite Hogwarts is(like everything else) POA. I hope Lego will continue into OotP and Deathly Hallows, not enough DA figs. -
MOC - Harry Potter Mandrake Lesson.

I love the different plants in it, but the flag, black backround and dome make it look like Harry Potter In Space! -
The sheep were sick and tired of the wolves eating them(the ones that were alive, of course). Sheep from 3 farms formed together to create the Sheep Army. Two days later a wolf bought a ticket for Muttonfest 2010, "Where the sheep actually come to you!". A penny saved is a penny earned. I decided to not spend a million dollars, where's my money? Do you like ________?(small cute animal of your choice) If they say no: That tough guy behind you does. If they say yes: Raw or boiled? The question that keeps me awake at night, is why do Apple and Cinnamon always act suicidal?(In the Apple Jacks commercials)

Pharaoh's Quest 2011
not-in-use-anymore replied to Fugazi's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I understand that, but there should be a theme in between Atlantis(very targeted at kids)(random example) and Architecture(very targeted at AFOLs). -

Obvious sign of a superhero(well, it could happen to a user of magic, if they wore costumes). You're walking down the street and the only villian that knows your real name comes and attacks you, you have to get into costume and fight. Hermione must have forgotten where her muggle clothes were and had to borrow Ginny's. Hopefully it's just preliminary, or else people will notice... I didn't even see anything about the set until it was revealed, it's almost funny reading the "Where is it???? " and then the "OMG it's amazing!!!! ". -
New Lego Exclusive 10217 Harry Potter Diagon Alley
not-in-use-anymore replied to GRogall's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oddly, I'm not that excited about this set. IMO, it looks like a village or neighborhood(I forgot the name, but the Spongebob set also) more than an alley. Gringotts looks weird with a white interior, and the safe is right out in the open. Ollivander's is very detailed, but doesn't look like the movie that well. B&B is the evil opposite of Winter Toy Shop(even the shape is mirrored) . The above reasons actually have no effect at all on me wanting to get it. -
Pharaoh's Quest 2011
not-in-use-anymore replied to Fugazi's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Exactly what I think . I think Lego should leave the collectable stuff and games in themes like Ninjago and Games, and fill in the other themes with more detail(more like the modular sets) . Trying to build a house with 1x2x5 bricks is annoying. -
Lego Games: Are they worth it for AFOL?
not-in-use-anymore replied to roamingstop's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I like games like Oriental Bazaar(bought), Pirate Code and Hogwarts, but Race 3000, Lava Dragon(bought, only one at my Target ), Minotaurus are okay on parts but mostly you just get your player to the middle while you avoid walls. I think Lego sells them as not just games, but cool part packs also. Unfortunately either they have a really cool part in a silly color, or a really cool color/print on a peice that probably won't be used alot. I strongly hope that the peg leg is final, and the green fedora would have been a good addition to the crazy color headpeices (green Count Dooku, White/Lime Green Inferno, Purple Fedora...). I wonder what the Cyborg's head is, I love it when they hide something creepy, like the Robot and squidperson. -

The Mrs. Norris from the Games set could replace the Mrs. Norris in the castle and then use the orange one for Crookshanks . That Was Easy -
It's a little big in the back, but the airlock is what I like.

I love how oblivious they are to the dead body and treasure. It's a nice mix of the series 2 figs on the other guy.

2011 Atlantis sets
not-in-use-anymore replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Atlantis mark? Do you mean the pyramid thing?(And didn't they already have Atlantis collectable keys?) One thing that stops me from being obsessed with little blurry pictures that appear and dissapear is that I'm sure I'll see them a trillion times in big shiny boxes. -
If you had shorter legs he'd look even better!
