I have a feeling that if Lego is ready to release preliminary pictures for the new Space theme, then we should see some new pics for Star Wars soon.
-
The only thing with a historical theme is that it has to be able to be marketed world-wide. I know that the Wild West was a US-based theme, but it was still something everyone knows about. None on your list are necessarily US only, but others might be.

I think it would be nice if they did a poll every year and gave fans a choice in a set released, as long as they kept it to the Original Trilogy, and kept the PT and CW out of it. OT RULES!!!

Very cool looking. I like the bad guys head piece. One interesting note is the fact that the bad guy's body is a Star Wars Tie Fighter pilot.

Wow. That is very impressive. I love the detail.

I have noticed the same thing, but at S@H. There are at least 4 or 5 castle sets sold out or on back order.

I just bought this set, and I hate to say it, but I bought it as an army builder. I am glad that the figures aren't glued, because the first thing I will do it take all of them apart, take all of the accessories, including those on the actual set, and rebuild all the figures like I want. I like to organize and accessorize all of my figures, so these will help me to organize my armies.

I have the following Clone Wars sets: 7675 AT-TE Walker: Complete in like-new condition with all figures. 7681 Separatist Spider-Walker: Complete in like new condition with all figures. 7676 Republic Gunship: Complete in like-new condition with all figures. All sets come complete with figures and and instructions. I am looking for the Huge Castle Chess set. I do not care if it is opened, as long as it has only been displayed or slightly used. I do not need the box, but I do want the complete set. Instructions are not required. I would be willing to trade all three Clone Wars sets for the set. Please PM.

It might be big in England, but the American market would probably be pretty small. I only know one or two people who watch it, and I don't think a lot do. I think that Lego's biggest market is probably America, so if a theme didn't sell well there, they probably wouldn't make it

The only thing that throws me off is the weapons that the Senate Guards are holding. They don't appear to be anything we have seen before.

I am impressed with the design looks-wise of the Venator, but it looks smaller than the ISD and doesn't seem like it will have much playability.

Hi. I have the following Clone Wars sets. 7675 AT-TE Walker: Complete in like-new condition with all figures. 7681 Separatist Spider-Walker: Complete in like new condition with all figures. 7676 Republic Gunship: Complete in like-new condition with all figures. All sets come complete with figures and and instructions. I am looking for new 2007-2008 Castle Sets. I am mainly interested in Trolls, Crownies, and Dwarves, but not Skeletons. Please send me a PM with what you have. I am looking for the HUGE Castle Chess Set also. I would be willing to trade all three sets for either an unopened or opened but only displayed Chess set. I have not traded here before, but I have traded on other sites and am a very reliable trader. Ok, so I have decided that I do not need to get rid of all the sets at the same time. I do want to ship the sets as a whole though, and I am not going to trade just the minfigs. Thank You.

I am guessing they won't release one either in this wave, considering none of the other sets include Dwarves, at least from what I can see.
-
I have noticed that some Castle sets are either sold out or on back order.
-
I am in dire need of Dwarf figures, so hopefully they release a Dwarf Impulse set.

Personally, I think that both KKI and KKII were bad. I do not want to offend or anger anyone by saying that.

I admit, I am a bigger Star Wars than castle fan. But, from reading a lot in this forum, I have seen that a lot of people did not like the KK sets, including me. After reading what I wrote, Ninja was not really a bad theme, it just wasn't a very Castle theme in the traditional sense. And when I said true, I meant more old school fans that had been around it a while. I did not get to experience most of the old sets, but I enjoyed whatever I could get my hands on. KK were in my opinion a deviance from older Castle themes and offered little play value. I did not mean to offend anybody, but was simply stating my opinion. And with the drawbridges, I will stand my ground. If you look at the old Royal Drawbridge, it appears to the be closest to the new drawbridge.
-
For true castle fans, KK and Ninja's were an insult to the Castle name. They are years that Lego fans would try to forget. To see true Lego Castle sets, you have to go back to the Royal Drawbridge and other classic sets. And actually, the designs are all different. The only one that looks like the Drawbridge Defense is the Royal Drawbridge.

Last movie in theaters was Valkyrie and the last movie at home was V for Vendetta.

I don't think that Lego will make either. Harry Potter is a dead theme, and it doesn't seem profitable for them to make a game about one. I don't think that they would make a Rock Band game either. I can't see them combining with another huge video game franchise to make some kind of crossover.

I am going to say that these are not legit. These contradict most of the figure lists that we have seen.
-
Very nice collection. I like the variety and different units.

Wow, those are some serious wants. Two suggestions. First, try going to your local Target or Walmart. They will probably have some of the 2007 sets are reduced prices. Second, try ebay for both the sets and extra figures as long as you don't mind them being open.
