  1. I plop down in a seat, weary of battle. I thumb one of the cookies in my hand, and decide to eat them, gaining two health.
  2. I look at the cookies and- with nothing better to do- eat them. I guess that's it then, isn't it? As I look on the battlefield before me I can't help but feel a sence of... irony. Here we came to assist a rise of chaos, and here we leave destroying what represents it. How the blood-soaked ground contains the littered bodies of one-time ally past and present. One-time allys we felled. The Dark Lady Wren still lingers in these lands, I fear. We have not- and perhaps never will- see her end. How does one fight choas? The battles we wage agaisnt it only seek to grow it. And yet pacifisim can not hope to stop it. So how do we defeat such an entity? How do we stop it's growth. The answer alludes me, heroes. Perhaps, it is one of those questions that shall never be answered. Life goes on. And so shall we, heroes. Let's go. Great quest, Zeph!
  3. Can NOT Ctrl + Alt + Delete the Past My first title! From one of my attempts to sound computer nerdy in Yakuzi Mafia. I'm not quite sure who gave this to me, but I'm leaning on Hinck or Fangy.
  4. As has been stated earlier, this was an attempt to gain trust. Was it foolish? In hindsight, yes, it was, and a mistake I won't repeat again lightly. But what's done is done, and I cannot Ctrl-Alt-Delete the past. I can only hope that I survive the night.
  5. I really don't care what I get. The plaything would be nice, but I'd probably end up selling it to upgrade my whip anyways. I really don't care what I get. The plaything would be nice, but I'd probably end up selling it to upgrade my whip anyways.
  6. :wall: :wall: Great. Thanks a lot, Ichirou. I guess I might as well explain my story, now, seeing as I'm probably dead either way. First off, yes, I'm the Yakuza Roleblocker. On the first day I targeted Norio because I found his actions during the day suspicous. Akio came to me for an alliance, and rather directly asked for my role. I found no reason to distruct him, so I told him. He asked who I blocked. I decided to wait until the morning, in case either he or someone he knew had the ability to kill me and prevent this action. The morning came, and I told him. Then Ichirou came to me with a request to join his group. I saw no reason to distrust him either, so I told him what I told Akio. Throughout the day we talked, and discussed what was going on. It seemed that he slowly lost trust in me, but I still had no reason to lose trust in him. When the bandwaggen jumped on him, I decided to lay low. If he was scum after all, then I would have been quickly swept in with him. I warned him not to reveal my identity, and he agreed. Eventually Grandpa asked me if I had told Ichirou my role, what I did, and if I blocked him. I answered honestly to all the questions. I did not tell him my role, but I had guessed that he had already figured it out on his own. It's possible I'm missing something here or there, but that is my story overrall.
  7. I'll probably be there. I'm really trying to time things right for Dyric's 'promotion', and my upcoming Quest is involved with it.
  8. I repeat my action. Again.
  9. Who is def? Nonetheless, this is quite the compelling argument. I'm not totally convinced, but I'm sure I will be soon, so I shall Copy+Paste Unvote: Ichirou (Tamamono) and await the results of this... revelation to determine my final vote.
  10. You mean to tell me you read 501st before the other books? IMO, despite what a lot of people say, Traviss is one of the better writers out there. She's no Timothy Zahn, but she's certainly great. And quite frankly, TCW has wrecked so many different series, I honestly can't see why Leeland Chee and the others insist on keeping it a higher level than everything else.
  11. Until now, I have not had a whole lot to say, and have largely kept my volume low. But now, I guess it is time to vote. I am sorry, Father, but it has seemed increasingly clear that you are scum. Your proposterous stories, your lame excuses, your defending of the clearly quilty... no. This so-called rally of yours is now clearly a fraud to distract the loyal Yakuzas here, and I cannot in good conscience keep you alive to further distract us. Thus, I Ctrl-Alt-Delete Vote: Ichiruou (Tamamono)
  12. I totally agree. Frankly, that's one of the reasons Republic Commando is one of my favorite series- it doesn't have a whole lot of Jedi, and it in fact insults the Jedi on many, many occasions. It's a view that is shown a lot in the EU, esspecially in series like FotJ and NJO, but doesn't seem to be elaborated on much. A lot of my favorite charecters aren't Jedi, and msot of the ones who are have an interesting quality about them (Jusik also being Mandalorian, Corran originaly being a pilot/investigator, etc.). I find 3P0 is usually in if Leia is involved, though normally he doesn't have a very important role. As for Legacy of the Force, I again agree with you. There were several plots going on that were all tied in, whether they featured many Jedi or none at all. And though I didn't note the inconsistancy you mention, I found Jacen's fall as compeling and interesting as you did. I really don't see why everyone complains about it.
  13. If I may, it would seem to me that his conclusion is that since two people were blocked, there'd be one blocker on each side. Whoever Scum blocked would defintely be Townie. The other side, however, is a little harder to decipher, but it would seem that Father concluded he would be Scum. It would also seem, though, that he now has information to prove otherwise, and thus dropped his case.
  14. In anticipation of the coming arc, someone as written a brief history of the Nightsisters and Dathomir, including an interesting link to the Mortis Arc: http://star-wars.suvudu.com/2012/02/magic-of-star-wars.html
  15. Again, I continue my attack on the Zoot beast.
  16. 'Didn't act' seems to imply more towards laziness than being blocked.
  17. Unfortunatly, it would appear many people from Day One have been operating that way- Tamiko, Lizzy, etc. I'm still a little confused as to why Loyd Jr. needed to base his operations on Minoru's
  18. Outbound Flight has always been my favorite book from the moment I read it. I've always found it so beautifully done, and the ending always seemed very emotional to me. Personally, I think they did a fairly good job with the Jaina-Jag angle. Ben and What's-Her-Face is absolutley pathetic, though, in my opinion. I seriously consider it one of the stupider ideas in the SW universe.
  19. I hate to revive information from the dearly departed, but this statement has piqued my interest, and it has gone notable unnoticed. Perhaps I am missing something obvious, but why did young Loyd Jr need to base his vote on Minoru?
  20. I thought it was pretty good, actually. Mind you, I was watching it at a time before I had played my first game, but I thought it was done well.
  21. Speaking of Timothy Zahn books, the amazing author recently noted he's working on an Ocean's Eleven type-book. For those who haven't seen Ocean's Eleven, it's one of the best heist movies I've ever watched.
  22. I continue my attack.
  23. I jump to the back row, and once again attack the Chaos Beast of Zoot with my Chain WHip
  24. Smiling at my hit against the Choas Beast, I roll after the tonic. WBD: I haven't thrown my knife yet...
  25. I use my chain whip on Chaos Beast of Zoot from the back row.
