  1. No, I'm amused by this irony too. And yes, new title seems in order. well, he was amusing at first...but like any old joke it has become more of a pain than relief. i like to think if we ignore him, he'll either go away or stop. *sad* neither, i will keep on contributing to this community. *sweet*
  2. what!? why would normal figures cost more than magnet figures in the market if the magnets ones cost more to make??? of course it is the other way round./
  3. 'thier' aren't no more pic but 'there' are more pic regarding this
  4. he doesn't have meca 1 told you, he is telling fibs. i mean , lego started producing figs so long ago, just how could anyone on the planet have all of them. no way.
  5. I thought Asia is a poor poor region, from the fact that they can own the entire collection of lego figures i guess the US can stop subsidising them.
  6. this man here claims that he has EVERY, literally every lego figures that has ever been there sold by Lego. and he claims he is the only man who can do that. seriously man, there is a limit.....
  7. with all my respect, how do you know by the time I posted up that request LEGO has already decided to make those MF packs??? look at it this way, if people all over the world posted to say they don't want MF packs LEGO is not very liekl;y going to produce them right??? where as if people post and stated explicitly that they DO want MF packs (like what I did) then obviously LEGO would have to listen to me (and those who wanted it too) and produce those MF packs if they want to continue to survive in the future toy market. as for sacrifice, well, i did spent a tidy amount of time and effort composing that topic to convince LEGO that minifigs packs are highly demanded-------->>> and they are convinced since we know that MF packs are coming in 2007. anyway, i think we are all glad that this is happening. at last a chance to build up an army without having to confront those rip off seller at ebay and bricklink
  8. I can not believe my previous post would have contributed so much to the Star wars lego community especially people like me
  9. i am just glad i don't live around you, what would other children do if they want a batcave for their birthday and you have just "cleaned out" the whole lot of them???
  10. does the LEGO manufacturing people EVER read what is being written here????? I mean, we have again and again demanded the gunship and minifig packs, and yet it is either they are deaf or don't care. so dissappointing
  11. yes, respect is very important in this community
  12. hallo there, this is about the sales period in US and UK. for UK i would say the sales period would be between after chirstmas and before the stock of the coming year has arrived in store. as for US it is mainly around thanksgiving by the way, do anyone of you know when does Argos usually have a sale????
  13. is there a prize for that?
  14. lego is too expensive
  15. where are the catalogs printed????? is it holland??? maybe that will give us a clue about why they appear in Holland first by the way, can someone post a map indicating the position of holland so everyone would not be so confused?
  16. my gosh, i never knew everyone here knows so little about the geography of the Earth, like what is where. maybe we should spend more time on study than on toys
  17. it is TOO complicated. i don't understand i think most kids would rather ask their parents for more $$$$$$$ than work out these awfully difficult maths equation i mean, if they want to be stingy and have a maths tutorial while going to Toysrus I teckon they won't be there in the first place because they would be in the MIT lecture hall. but then, that's me.
  18. where is holland???? why every new set of lego (6212) or new catalog appear there???? are they rich???
  19. love these cool looking figures
  20. Asia Comic Expo 2006 lots of airports a Chinese woman made a fast move and collected every 6210 and 6211 in the store so she can sell them on the gray market in the near future to make a neat profit (in China there is yet no public release of 6210 and 6211) a big man who is in charge of the bulk buying operation (head of the gang) two servant of the big guy who is looking after the purchased goods when their leader is still inside scrapping for more together they wiped out every star wars and batman lego there were in the display store and left other eager lego players with nothing
  21. I'm just glad you're not my stock broker... So do I... You wish... So do I. I've had problems with 8435 (came out in 2004, bought last year), 8436 (also 2004, bought last year) and 8421 (2005, bought this year). Anything else? well, i am out of possible explanations. i am glad you are not my stock broker too. with your luck one could lose his ntire fortune in one night. but i hope you won't meet this "axle problem" again.
  22. i have got another possible explanation i live outside the US, hence the LEGO that i buy are mostly the second or thrid batch because they are sold outside the US. therefore for the first batch the collection assembly may have some error, some buyers got caught, reported, and then they fix the problem so later boxes do not have that problem. i generally wait a bit when sets come out
  23. i have never encountered a missing part, a twisted part, a deformed part, mishaped part, miscolored part, bad part, wrong part or plain wrong parts set in my life. i wonder why other people does
