I don't feel like dueling, but I will adjudicate.

Don't forget, you owe me a duel as well.

I'd like to thank Jamie for his wonderful work on the Emerald Night. That set is-ahem- DA BOMB! No, I will never say that again.
-
I see what he was trying to do with the hat. It has a nice effect, but I, too would have to say to lose the hat and paint the rest of the head purple.

Thanks Prateek! This was my first RA review, so it's not that great.

2001,2002,2003 Bionicle sets. for trade.
Sisco replied to Palms's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Sorry for wasting your time there, I wished it could have worked out . -
PSHEW! PSHEW! PSHEW! The ARC-170 jumps out of hyperspace, guns a'blazing, going after a droid fighter. Kit Fisto, Captain Jag, and another clone pilot pilot the massive spacecraft. With missiles and two very big guns, the starfighter is a good match to any clanker fighters out there. But will it be enough? Find out in this RA Review! Set #: 8088 Name: ARC-170 Starfighter Theme: Star Wars Year: 2010 Pieces: 396 Minifigs: 4 Price: 59.99 USD, 79.99 CAD, 49.99 GBP, 69.99 EUR Lego Brickset Peeron Bricklink Flickr Set The Box This is a very long box, making it hard to photograph in the little space available to me. So please forgive anything outside of the set. Anyways, this box is very long, but TLC only uses about 40% of it, even with the bags, instructions, and sticker sheet. But, other than being way too long, it is a nice, standard Star Wars box. It has the usual explosion near the wing, and laser beams heading for the starfighter. It appears to be over coruscant, which leads me to believe that this is episode three, not clone wars. That deserves a big from me. Back, showing the usual stuff. I.E., the basic features of the set and the other sets from this wave. It has a very cool picture of the crew getting prepped for launch, which is new (at least to me). From the box, you can already tell it will be a great set, making it even more tempting. Most people (like me) fall for it, and buy this wonderful set. Instructions The instructions are clear, easy to read, and, even better, Not folded. Same picture on the box, as usual. I would have preferred a little variety, but you can't have it all, I guess. Random instructions page, showing the building up of the body. The build was hard with all the technic gears and such, but it was fun. I learned some new techniques to use in future MOCs, and it wasn't too very repetitive. Minifigures R4-P44 I guess we'll start with this little astromech. He is a nice addition to any minifigure collection, with beautiful detailing and a sense of quirkiness that comes with all astromech droids. The best part; he's green! My favorite color! How wonderful. Captain Jag Next we have Captain Jag, the disgraced commander-now demoted to captain. Whatever his past, he is a superb minifigure. He has a new open-faced helmet with some great blue printing, and a new not-animated head. His legs are the same as the old clone pilot, which is perfectly fine, since it did its job well. The torso is new, and is a nice improvement over the old one. Overall, an almost Must Have. Clone Pilot The Clone Pilot is basically the same as Captain Jag, but with some nice black detailing. It is nice to see some variety in an otherwise generic figure, but I wish it had come with two regular clone pilots, or the same minifigure selection, with another Pilot instead of Kit Fisto. I am Not saying Fisto's not awesome, I just like pilots. Back Printing for the pilots. It looks nice, with some straps that remind me of overalls. Kit Fisto Ah, here's the big green man himself! He is an excellent minigfig, albeit an unexpected one. I guess he does work well with the clones, and it gives the feel that Palpatine didn't want any Jedi without a clone to kill them. I like his new pearl lightsaber, not pictured here to show off the torso better, and his head is very nice. ARC-170 Starfighter Front view. It looks pretty intimidating at this angle, don't you think? The engines are huge, which is okay seeing as this set is massive. It has a snotty nose (Sorry, couldn't resist ), and a big wingspan. It is very sleek/shiny. Very good. The back. This view is slightly better for some droids looking to bag themselves a clone starfighter or two. That rear gunner is a pretty good shot, though, so the droids never really stood a chance. The engines really taper off in size here, making them look weird. Is it just me, or does it look like a W from this angle? Side view. A very good view for a droid tri-fighter, there are no defenses on the side. Not that fighters usually have guns on the side, but let's hope that those pilots are good at dodging. Cockpits opened, waiting for the crew. The 'mechanism' is very flimsy, falling off at the first touch. While I was photographing this, the back cockpit shield fell off in my hand. Place for astromech. The way you get it in there is by opening the two cockpit pieces and place the droid into the slot. Wings out. It looks very imposing, and I would hate to be a droid in this position. The mechanism for opening is nice and easy, yet painfully slow. The same mechanism fires the missiles, sending them a whole two inches before falling like rocks to the ground. While on the subject of the mechanism, here is the turning thing to operate it. It has a gear on the end, except my little cousin got a hold of it and threw it into a vent . It is easy to turn. The mechanism of gears. It is simple, yet effective. It also relies on rubber bands to make sure the wings don't over extend, which isn't really a major gripe for me. The Final Verdict Design: 9/10. Very nice design, even though the engines are a little weird. A design flaw that couldn't really be avoided. The guns are big and dangerous, and the wingspan is HUGE. Build: 8/10. I'm not a technic builder, but all these Star Wars Technic crossovers are turning me. The technic is necessary for the wings to open, but it is tedious all the same. The other parts are fun, and has some nice techniques. Playability: 9/10. The starfighter has many weapons, and four minifigures. There are a host of scenarios that you can play out, especially if you have any droids. The reason for not full marks is because there isn't anything to shoot at. Minifigures:9/10. I LOVE the pilots. The open faced helmets are very cool, and the markings make them even better. Kit Fisto is a great minifig to have, and is a great general for any clone army. Price: 7/10. 396 pieces at $59.99 USD equals .17 cents a piece, making this well over the usual Price for Piece ratio. Even though, this set is well worth it, and the sheer size of it makes up for the high price point. Overall: 9/10. I.Love.This.Set. It is big, and has three brand new minifigures, and one rare one. The build is fun despite the technic (no offence to all you technic lovers), the features are nice, and the size is extra massive. If you have the cash, buy this set. It is a great set, you won't regret it. Continuing on that note, here is the Parting Shot I love my ARC-170...

Leagues upon Leagues under the sea, something stirs. The Wreck Raider comes to investigate. What is lurking so far under the waves? Is it hostile? Will the Wreck Raider find horror? Or something even worse? Darth Vader is Luke's father?! Ahem. Sorry. Anyway, here is my second Reviewer's Academy review, 8057 Wreck Raider. Enjoy! Set#: 8057 Name: Wreck Raider Theme: Atlantis Year: 2010 Pieces: 64 Minifigs:2 Price:9.99 USD, 7.99 GBP, 12.99 CAD Brickset Peeron Lego Bricklink Flickr Set The Box Front, showing basic information. The Atlantis logo looks Brilliant! It shows off the set nicely. Looking at this in the store, I just couldn't resist. This being my first Atlantis set, I was nervous/excited about getting this. Back, showing the features, such as the missiles and the Atlantean disc thing. A child looking at this on the shelf would probably beg his mother to buy it for him. The photo shopping is good, and it has a nice, clean feel to it. The instructions Front. Folded instructions again . At least it's easier to stand up to photograph. The picture is the same as the box, nothing new here. They are nice and clear, just as they should be. Random Instruction page, showing how to put the front on. The build was simple and fun, just what you'd expect from such a small set. There are some interesting techniques, but nothing mind blowing. Minifigures Diver Front. The helmet is two pieces, and has the oxygen tanks in back. The torso printing is actually pretty nice under the helmet, and it has leg printing. The Head is double sided, I just forgot to take the picture. Back. Notice the gap, right between the air tanks. Can anyone say, total cranial collapse? The torso actually has some very intricate printing behind the air tanks. Shark Man Front. The head has a rubbery feel to it, but it feels solid. The torso is interesting, though the only use I can see is what it is already being used as. It is very hard to photograph the eyes, and I had to give up on that. The teeth are nice and sharp looking. Back. The detailing on the head is absolutely Beautiful, IMHO. The fin is a little wobbly, though. No back printing, which is okay seeing as the head dominates the entire back. Wreck Raider Hmm...What to say about this. Well, it's certainly very broad in the front. It also looks sort of disproportionate. I'm not saying I don't like it, it's just surprisingly blatant. NOTE: I opted to not use stickers on this, I thought it was just too much work. Front. Not a good view for a Shark Warrior. But for our purposes, it looks pretty nice and symmetrical. The log piece used as the central part looks horrible at this angle, but I guess the designers couldn't do much about that. Back. Notice the engines, how they look big? They really aren't that big of a deal, but I'm a nitpicker. No seat for the pilot, but I guess it wouldn't do much good underwater . Set in Full Is it just me, or does Sharky over there look a little out-I don't know- gunned? Of course, he does have 3 rows of teeth, a trident, and an Atlantian Artifact. But then again, the diver has a small vehicle and missiles. The Final Verdict Design: 7/10. A good design, but it seems a little disproportionate. The front is very broad, and it doesn't have a seat for the pilot. But it is a cute and lovable little sub. Build: 8/10. Quick and easy, with some interesting techniques. Nothing too very interesting, but it's fun all the same. Playability: 9/10. It's a mini-sub, and a shark man. You can probably think of 99 different things to do with this relatively small set. Minifigures: 9/10. Pretty good minifigs for a small set. The shark man is awesome, and the diver, which my mother just lovingly named Bob, is very nice. Price: 7/10. 64 pieces for $10? I guess it's fair, but... never mind, I'm not going into price ranting. Overall: 7/10. A pretty good set for a cheap price, with 2 good minifigs, an interesting sub (even if a little off), and an ok start to an ok theme. Overall, a completely average set. Parting Shot: Are you sure you're not an Atlantean?

INDEXED Deep in Lego City, a crook is fleeing the scene of the crime! Who do the people call? The brave police officers, of course! But will his super fast car be enough? Or will the nice cop be left in the dust? Let's find out! Set#: 7236 Name: Police Car(real original, Lego ) Theme: City Year: 2007 Pieces: 59 Minifigs: 1 Price: USD 5.99 MSRP: USD 5.99, GBP 3.89, CAD 7.99 Brickset Peeron The box Front. Sorry for bad box. I rather like the longer packaging, although TLC only uses 40% of the box. Back, showing the car with the cop inside and the radar gun thing. Again, very sorry for box. Actual size! I always thought these 'actual size' pics were worthless, myself. Instructions Front. Note: Police Officer has yellow hands, not black. Highly understandable instructions, clearly aimed at a younger audience. Back. Same as the first side, um well... You know what I mean... Minifigure I really like this minifig. My 3rd or 4th cop, I really can't enough of them.It really could have used a belt print. The Build Just a few more steps until completion. The build was very quick and easy, 3 minutes tops.( 5 if you built in in the car, like moi ) Cop Car Profile. I hated applying those stickers. The design was pretty good. Very <insert that tiresome argument>. Second verse same as the first!( Really, exactly the same as the other side. It's a mystery why I even put this side in here ) Back. Glad to see a bumper! Especially with taillights. Even the law needs to have proper signals! Set in Full Overall, a nice set. The radar gun is wierd, if not badly designed. Filler is all it is, really. The Final Verdict Design: 7/10 Very <insert that tiresome argument>, but what do you expect from a $6 set? Build: 8/10 Very quick and easy, no interesting techniques. Playability: 8/10 It's a cop car with a cop. It could have used a bandit, but oh well Minifigures: 9/10 Love this minifigure! Only thing that could have helped would be a belt print on the legs. Price: 10/10 At $5.99, it's dead on the price for piece ratio(1 piece=10 cents) Overall: 8/10 Overall, a great set.The price to piece ratio is great, and the minifigure rules. The only thing that could have improved it would be a bandit. Parting Shot Even after 500 years, the force hadn't changed much.

I liked playing the earlier PS2 games. Drek's Demise was my favorite one. (P.S.- JimButcher is adjudicating in Jedi Duels, if you didn't notice.)
-
Anyone? Adjudicators? Please? I am ready to duel Darth Magma!
-
I'm sure this would be a great MOC, if I could just see it. All of the images are red Xs, please fix!
-
Is anyone willing to duel? Darth Magma, if you are still on?
-
I have now sold this game to gamestop. This really was a horrible game, IMHO, with a bad hub and annoying levels. I am saddened by this, because I was looking forward to this before it came out.

What is the funniest things you have heard said about Lego?
Sisco replied to Sisco's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That reminds me of a time in Wal-Mart, and this kid was in the Lego isle looking at the star wars sets. I went over there and asked him if he was going to get one. He said '"Nah, I hate putting stuff together"'. I just walked away, muttering to myself. -
Congratulations, Whitefang. I'll get you next time . Another duel, anyone?

I think I sent it...No 'sent messages' in my folder for some reason.
