Now the crap: Yes that's right we have one of those damn shooting pieces, oh and here's where it goes: Your first wing part: Building it up: Side view of where the wings will go: Front shot of the ship: Wing attachments, these go over the axle parts on either side of the ship: Like this: This turns with great ease: Next wing attachment, these will hold the 2 wing pieces on the right side of the ship: Next part for the attachment: Fully built and ready to hold the wings: Next wing: Building the wing up again: Now here you can see just how the wings are held: First wing attached to the ship, it holds on really well: Now for the left side: Next wing attachments: First part of left wing: Built up once again: Underneath the left wing: And finally the ship is complete: Inside the ships cockpit, as usual this needs some work. Once again lego has decided to cut costs with its content: The figs proudly stand besides the empires new starship: And finally heres a shot of the Rogue Shadow next to anakins new starfighter: Ok so overall i like this set, sure it has a few bad points like that darn shooting missile. But the littel moving wings and secret gun holders more than makes up for this, the set itself is well put together and wont fall apart. Once you get over the different wings you kinda get used to them, as the design of this ship is really strange i think lego did there very best. Right well thats enough from me at this point, im sorry if some of the pics are not too clear. Any pic requests are welcome.

Well i know we have another review around here but i thought i would add one too, i shall be uploading a lot of pics so this might take awhile X-D Lets start with the figs: Ok heres a group shot of them, have to say i love the new printing on these figs. Now heres my only gripe with the new figs, i have to say i hate the way vaders head sits on the broken helmet. It just dosent look right IMO. Ok well i wont dwell on the figs any longer at this point now lets get on with the build: Your first base bit. This will be your cockpit: Underneath: Your next base part: Building up: Joining the two: Building up again: Your next part: Underneath: Parts attached: Attached to the cockpit: Next part: Now this part was a fun build and colourful: And it goes with this: This yellow piece will allow the bigger piece to move: Covered: Attached to the other part: Opened....closing...and shut: Attached: Next base part: The ships laser guns: Back to the base: Building up again: One part of the ships hull: Underneath the hull: Hull attached: Hull built up: Reverse side: Attached to the cockpit: Time to start a new again: With missiles: Time to cover them up: Time to attach again: New again: Underneath: Missiles attached to ship and ready to fire: Starting again, how many times have i said that? X-D New gun holders: Your part with gun holders attached: Step by step: Next hull part: Underneath this part of the hull: Attached to the base part: Open hull: The main base of the ship assembled: More lasers to hunt those escaping jedi!!! First ships leg, you will need 4 of these: All 4 attached to the ship: All hull parts open:

So there's been alot of talk about the new Anakin Cartoon style face lately, so i thought i would have a go at making some. Below are 2 custom Jedi , Luminara Unduli and Mace Windu along with the offical Anakin. I'm pretty happy with the way Luminara Unduli turned out. But much like my Raiders mechanic Mace suffers from thick decal paper, the cloak on mace is something i have been playing with for some time but have yet to perfect. Comments are welcome as usual.

Well i agree it's way to much for those sets, BL will be my friend for getting some of the figs cheaper.
-
Afraid not, the Indy sets haven't made it to us yet so until they do i'm Indy less :'-(
-
Well sorry to hear your leaving, at this point in time i'm wondering if it wouldn't be best to end this thread anyway as intrest has died down :-/

X-D Excellent work, it's a great moc *y* I really feel sorry for that poor fig :-D
-
You can request it....though you might not get it :-P , I'll do my best :-) Thanks for the link i shall check it out. Ahhhh i see, yes the torso is a Patrick one. I placed the decal on the back side of the torso, then removed the nipples etc from it.

Ohhh great the all mighty Wookiepedia speaks and you believe it! :-| I don't know how many times i have to say this but here goes again: Wookiepedia can be editied by anyone! That means all of whats on there is unture, especially where lego SW is concerned. The Twilight is most likely a new ship of some sort and not a moment in SW history.

Well it looks like the back of her, the design is pretty much what we thought it would be......well at least from the back.
-
Excellent find Sne, man that sure is one funny moc X-D :-D
-
Indeed the eyes are slightly bigger then they should be, i shall be making them smaller and also i might darken all the facial hair. Tiber i might do a moc once i have a Indy fig. Jipay i found a torso on Brickshelf, it was done for that cartoon Dragonball Z i believe. I basically did my own version whilst using the other as a reference, i changed a few bits like adding the belt and pants etc.

I think i speak for everyone involved when i say thank you for those comments, the hard work done will be worth it if this place becomes a success. :-)

Well i did think about making one so yes you can expect one, I'll also do a few other customs from ROTLA. The decal paper is laser, though it's a bit thicker than i would like so i'll be getting some thiner soon as the torso looks good but the face shows abit too much for my liking.
