MOC: Front wheel drive car
vladoniki replied to vladoniki's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have made more changes. Now the car is 4x4 part time and it has a better rear suspension. More pictures - click here Video - It uses 2 XL motors - 1 for steering, the other for driving. -
MOC: Front wheel drive car

Here is a new version of the car. Now it is powered by 1 XL motor - horizontally mounted. There is a gimbal to the rear axle, but not yet added a diff. It is stabilized - the battery box is lower mounted. -

Thanks! I will put the same diff at the back. I will not add a third diff - full time drive has not good performance for off-road drive. -
MOC: Front wheel drive car

I was just trying to make 2 XL motors for drive. This car does not need 2 of them. I plan to make more chances, the one will be - 1 XL motor to drive it. I will also put a second diff at the back, so the car will have 4x4, part time drive, but first I need to buy a second diff. -
Plastic Nurak, thanks! Here is my second MOC ...and a .

It is a RC car. Most of the parts are from Lego 8184 Comments and criticism are always welcome! :)

Hello friends! I would like to ask you for information about Technic Differential with One Gear 28 Tooth Bevel. Does someone know why in the middle it has a crack/cleft? The middle part of it holds two of the cog-wheels, but i don't see any use of the cleft... A picture of the diff and the cleft is marked. Thanks to all!

They are great! You have to build them with bricks.
-
Thanks to all! samuraiturtle, would you please send me a link to see your LDD model? I use the rest bricks from my fire station and yellow building, so the colors are like McDonalds - red and yellow. I will make more details, also the fence will be one colored. More of the details now are taken from Lego 4996.

Hi friends! I have build a small family house. It is modular type and it has 3 floors. The house still does not have any interior, but I will make some when I have more time. Comments and criticism are welcome!

Thanks, 'professor flitwick'!

I have made some changes and decorations. There is a garden in front of the building. Little Bobby is playing in the sandbox, while his mother is reading the newspaper sitting on the bench. ... a flower garden

'lightningtiger', thanks! The Technic brick over the roof is the switch - I use it to turn on and off the battery box. It is connected to the battery's box switch. Just pull and push the Technic brick to turn on and off. Here is the connection to the switch:

Thanks, 'Burman'!

It is a Lego building with working elevator. It uses PF M motor, batter box and a IR receiver. It is a town building, but it is mixed with a little Technic parts. ... and a - you can see how the elevator works. Better quality photos - Here The building still does not have an interior, because I don't have enough plate to make the floors. I accept criticism, praise and comments!

The images now are corrected to resolution 640x480. The quality is not so good. Better quality pictures in my gallery. Thanks to all!
-
'lightningtiger', thanks! Sorry about the photos, next time I will resize them to 640x480, before posting.

Is it better to post a link to the gallery? If it is I will do that. These photos are 1024x768, like in more other themes here! The forum system automatically reduces the size of the photos. I didn't detect similarity to Georgi's buildings. The yellow building is very similar (with some changes) to the building in last year's Lego catalog (I have one of it from the official importer of Lego for Bulgaria). In the begging of that project - to build it, I planned to do it the same like in the catalog. First I changed the windows, than I build it taller than you can see it in Lego catalog. The red building is a fire station - all we have the idea of Lego fire stations (more than 20 years) - it is red, like all other fire stations build from Lego past years (combination red and white) - Town/Fire. As you see, my fire station has a lot of original lines of Lego design, like Georgi's.

It is great. Well done!

I did some changes. First floor: Second floor: Third floor. I gave up 4 stud stairs - they would take up too much space.
-
'lightningtiger', thanks! I also think about 4 stud wide stairs and I will do them. I also plan to use red color for stairs, because they are attached to the walls and it does not look like good. :)

Yesterday I started to build a fire station for my town. The building will have three floors. It will be a modular type (my first modular building). On the roof of it I will build a heliport. Two photos of the prototype: I hope you like it. Suggestions and criticism are not redundant!

OFF Topic I have used these parts: The battery box is outside the house. The cable comes into the house through a little hole - plate 1x2 (I have removed it). More photos - in my Gallery
