  1. I didn't feel that hyped about the What If CMF choices initially, but having these in hand, I have to admit that LEGO did a fantastic job with this assortment. So much detail packed into all the prints across these minifigures. Hoping this sells well and we get a second wave of hyper-detailed figures in the next couple of years!
  2. I was so hopeful we'd go back to the larger Hogwarts design for the sets after the anniversary. Very disappointed we aren't.
  3. It still doesn't show as added to cart on the UK Shop at Home so I have no clue lol
  4. Darn - thanks for the headsup! I'll go ahead and make an order!
  5. Quick question - getting into the HP line slowly, so trying to acquire as much as I can. About the buy the Whomping Willow since I assume it will go out of stock first, but wanted to ask if anyone knows if the Monster Book of Monsters promo is coming to UK stores, too? If so, I will wait to order!
  6. I'm going to chip in and recommend The Jurassic Park Podcast. Totally not a part of the show...
  7. Yeah I defo think you have a point mate. As much as I'd love a JW CMF wave I don't think it is really viable. Not enough characters who would engage the broader public. I do hope that after Dominion the license may continue. We know this is one of LEGO's highest earners now, so hopefully that implores them to keep it around.
  8. I agree fully - I think now is really the best time to embrace the legacy of this franchise and give us some 'legacy' sets. I think realistically there are scope for these sets: Sick Triceratops w JP Jeep Rex Breakout w Ford Explorer TLW Trailer Smashup with Baby T-Rex + Tyrannosaur (realistically we'd only get one) TLW Roundup Set with Parasaurolophus JPIII Plane Crash with Spino I genuinely think a wave of 'Legacy' sets could be a very successful broad market item if they got the builds and play features right. Adult fans would buy them for the minifigures and dinos, and kids for the great builds and new dinos.
  9. I VOTE WE START A JP JEEP CAMPAIGN
  10. Hahaha it's all good mate! I'm in a lot of these circuits via my Twitter so I get the same kind of information. Absolutely nothing is concrete yet. @Guyon2002 - I shared the pic of the Jeep on Twitter. Lots of fans upset we never got it! Hopefully this may encourage LEGO to revisit it in the future.
  11. I know where you're friend has heard it from - and that source isn't always reliable. Hence why I say to remain skeptical until we get official news.
  12. I was never aware of this - thank you so much for sharing, mate. This would have been a MUCH better set in my opinion - I am gutted we never got it. LEGO really missed an opportunity to give us a special piece of Jurassic history. I actually made my own Jeep recently using some online instructions: Take this with a grain of salt. I've seen the same 'leaks' and there is no accurate source cited. I wouldn't be surprised if this is inaccurate.
  13. Is there a pic anywhere? :)
  14. @Guyon2002 - I didn't even realise the Mosa is actually on the sign in the film - thanks for pointing out a new detail to me! The Calendar in the set does feature a Brachiosaurus...but I doubt we'd ever get one sadly. My review of the Indominus set is now live here:
  15. It is definitely priced far too high IMO. The main draw of the set is the Galli - a dino you want multiples of. The build is nice but it isn't worth £55. I just published my indepth review of this set here:
  16. Thanks for the kind words - my bad! I thought it was a connection to the Triceratops Rampage set. They look fantastic displayed together! I'm in full agreement with you. I think we've got some great expressions but a new alarmed one would be really cool to get. I'm certainly planning on picking up a second Lab set to try and make a petting Zoo - excited to play with the possibilities here!
  17. Just published my review of Dr Wu's Lab. Hope you all enjoy. Let me know if you have any questions about the set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NHZZ2ytFCU&feature=youtu.be
  18. Lucky enough to have got my hands on the new sets today. I'll have comprehensive reviews up on Jurassic Collectables in the week - but wanted to share a look at the 1x1 with the Mosquito as it is hands down one of the most gorgeous pieces LEGO have made for the Jurassic line. I love the lab set. The graphics feel authentic, and everything here feels incredibly detailed - and feels more tailored towards more mature fans. LEGO really knocked it out the park with this wave.
  19. It's nice to see new leg print on the ACU trooper. Didn't think they'd commit to something like that for a single set.
  20. They have done a very good job this time around. The Gyrosphere set is the star. That accurate build is simply gorgeous, and I really love the Ankylosaurus. The inclusion of Josh is an awesome nod to fans, too! The Gali included in the Drone vehicle is cool - and I actually kinda like the vehicle itself. The small drone builds are nice and the back looks detatchable which is cool. The lab is gorgeous - and I love the small 1x1 Amber Brick with a Mosquito print! Looks really awesome. Only poor build is the Biplane, but for a Juniors Set I wouldn't expect much more anyway!
  21. The Allosaurus and Nasutoceratops are pretty likely given how many brand partners have been drawn into the botched Battle At Big Rock tie in at this moment in time. Small companies like the Japanese model dinosaur companies with the Jurassic license even decided to tie in, so I doubt LEGO would miss the chance. I did a practical experiment and the Allosaurus uses the Indoraptor body - which increases the probability of a release given LEGO wouldn't need to make a new mould for the body. The Nasutoceratops would also be able to re-use the Trike body, which we only saw re-issued last wave, again saving LEGO money. With those factors taken into account, I would argue a BR tie in is probable - with the juniors sets most likely being themed around the new Netflix show which will release next year, Camp Cretaceous. Failing a BR tie in, I imagine all the sets will be themed around CC instead.
  22. Hahaha thanks buddy! I am a massive Jurassic geek so know these films in and out. I'm really excited to see what the new sets bring.
  23. Nope - always has been modelled on the training scene in Fallen Kingdom: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S76NPHif5o
