  1. This year I received so far the 8265 Front Loader and 30$. I'm also getting about 2000 pieces from Bricklink, which hopefully will arrive this year and maybe a chocolate.
  2. Very nice and functional MOC. I like the fact that it is so smooth and that you managed to put the motors in this compact vehicle. Great work!
  3. I think I might also buy Assassin's Creed 2, I played the first one for a few months and it was very good. I also played for some time Motorstorm, pretty good game. I don't think I'll buy Burnout Paradise because I would prefer to have a Need for Speed, if I manage to find PS3 one in a store. Little Big Planet seems quite interesting, tough it's not for me. I don't think I'll buy other games for a long period, mostly because I have too many expensive hobbies.
  4. I got my Playstation 3 last year, in the summer, and after that I bought 2x GTA IV, Uncharted (it came with the console, along with Spider Man 3), GT5 Prologue, Tomb Raider: Underworld and that's all for the moment but I plan to buy next year Uncharted 2 and maybe Metal Gear Solid 4. Anyway the PS3 is really great and I don't regret buying it. This year I received from my parents a Playstation 2 along with the GTA Trilogy, it seems that I have a very big passion for GTA. At the moment I do not plan to buy any new games for this console.
  5. I am 15 and a half.
  6. Very nice review and the truck is pretty cool. I like the fact that it has suspension, a very rare thing in City sets, and that it has such a different look from the usual Lego City vehicles. Also the other functions of the truck are quite interesting, especially the crane. I think this set is worth buying.
  7. I would like to join. Here is my collection and I really want to make good reviews.
  8. It seems that I am 8192 Lime Racer, which is quite good.
  9. Very nice truck, it is so smooth and the color is quite nice, although the roof is a little bit too low. I like the fact that the truck drives so well and that the crane is compact but still fully functional. Great work.
  10. I bought roughly 3000 pieces from Bricklink for a new MOC, which hopefully will be ready in 2 or 3 weeks. Also I just bought 8265 Front Loader, but not from Bricklink. The order was a last minute decission and it should arrive on Tuesday, in time for Christmas.
  11. For me the set that I never disassembled is the 2556 Ferrari Formula 1 Racing Car. I have kept it built for about 11 years and it will continue to stay assembled for a very long time because the set is glued.
  12. This year I only managed to buy one set, but I made two very expensive Bricklink orders.
  13. Here in Romania it has been snowing quite heavily for the last three day and the snow is about 30-40 cm tall, but the schools didn't close, they were already closed so we have an extra week of holiday. Unfortunately, the snow will be melt by Christmas, but still it is very nice.
  14. At the moment, I'm collecting just LEGO, although I used to collect stamps, postcards (I have a few hundreds of these ones), coins, 1:24 and 1:18 diecast cars and money. I think these are all my collections, but there could some more, it's hard to remember all.
  15. I don't expect to have any sets under the tree this year, because I have recently spent about 500$ on BrickLink orders for a new MOC. Maybe next year I'll get something, but who knows.
  16. I usually keep track of my sets in my head because I have just a few large sets, but sometimes I use Brickset.
  17. 1. I think a Power Functions Battery Box will power the lights, two M motors, a switch and an IR receiver without any problem. 2. It is just like said, very simple. 3. I think the Battery Box can power 2 XL motors or 4 M motors, this is what is said on the LEGO site, but I used it a couple of times with 2 Xl motors and 2 M motors and it worked quite well, although if you need really high torque it may not work so well. 4. That shouldn't be too hard, you just connect the motor to the axle that turns the differential and the rest is already done, because the set already has the u-joints and cv joints, although it may be a little difficult to find space for a motor. Be sure the transmission can handle the motor's torque, or the u-joints might break. I hope the information helped you.

    Car Talk

My dream car is the Mercedes Benz Unimog U5000 The more realistic variant would be the Land Rover Defender 110 SW, a very beautiful car in my opinion. A have a big passion for off-roaders.
  19. This is one of the most complex MOCs I have ever seen! It's impressive how you managed to fit so many liniar actuators and still having such a nice design, it really looks like a JCB. The model looks small in the pictures, although at 4000 pieces it's certainly huge. I think the back wheels are a little too wide and with what did you cover them? Also, is it 4WD because I know the original is. Keep up the good work!
  20. Very nice and functional crane. I'm impressed how you managed to put all those motors inside such a small vehicle. Also the design of the crane and the details are amazing! Very well done!
  21. Hello, my name is Sabo Sergiu Vlad and I am from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I have been playing with LEGO for quite a long time, but I only took up this hobby seriously about 3 years ago when I received the 8289 Fire Truck. My first set was 2556 Ferrari Formula 1 Racing Car. My favorite themes are Technic and Mindstorms, although I build robots very rarely. You can see my collection at my Brickset account. My other interests are photography, video games and cars, especially trucks. I am very happy to be here.
