  1. An impressive and very fine MOC and an excellent job with the pictures. The slideshow was very cool too, only at the end a few more 'mayhem' kind of pictures could´ve been a little more fitting, perhaps...
  2. To me it is and always was. Of course, every theme´s wonderful, but only within SF (this time as in Speculative Fiction, an a little more encompassing term than Science Fiction ) you can build a whole universe without any other limits than the boundaries of your very own fantasy alone. Or to speak just with Nancy Sinatra: These bricks were made for MOCing...
  3. He he... I always knew they live a secret life, but that´s almost too creepy... but very nice for sure!
  4. He he... um. Today was the ending of the less 20% on LEGO campaign at my local TRU ... and I really feel like I could need a little guidance... or at least another person to help me carrying all the packages... Very fine... as long as you keep your visit nice and friendly...
  5. A sneak preview, now that´s cool... and a pretty menacing looking new hero for sure.
  6. Happy Birthday and a lot of wonderful bricks on! Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno
  7. LEGO is and was always expensive, but its price was relatively stable throughout the years. And, luckily for us all, they´re in the black again. But I guess TLC´s pricing policy isn´t resting upon charity. There´s a small borderline between a high quality toy and an unnecessary article of luxury, especially in times of an economic crisis. Advanced prices would lead to declining sales, causing a lot of long-term damage to the reputation of the brick... parents would simply refuse to buy LEGO for their children, no matter how big and impressive these (half-empty) boxes might be able to grow - there´re more important things to pay for, like food and rent... And if the price for a loaf of bread would suddenly rise up to 300 - 400% you would see a riot in the streets for sure. That´s life... I guess we AFOLs´re pretty nice and calm people indeed...
  8. That´s very understandable and a pretty cool work nevertheless.
  9. Well, the price hike was a pretty big mistake for sure, but it was not an accidental one. Like we can see with TLC´s statement in Matija´s (thanks!) post, it was a business decision... but one that, strangely , didn´t work out like they thought it would... so they decided (again ) that it could be better to come down to earth...
  10. He he... Paranormal Teenybopper Romance, no thanks... that genre´s not manly enough for me! I think I´ll stick to Cowboy Contemporary Romance with a slight detour to Vacation Love from time to time ...
  11. He he... a notice, along with such a ridiculous pricing, wouldn´t be that helpful at all, but at least it seems they managed to realize that they were no longer selling anything on PaB... Seriously, I would like to know if the exec who was responsible for that lil´ soap opera´s the same who signed off these MarsMission Jellies...
  12. A nice and, ahem, very sweet work indeed. But it made me hungry... How did you do that very fine thunderbolt?
  13. Now that poor guy (or is it more an 'it'?) would desperately need some cool Alien Clint Eastwood...
  14. A great idea and a great MOC too, the volcano scenery and the orcs fit together very well! That little ride of horror´s simply hilarious, although it would be even a little more frightful if the tracks would not be blocked...
  15. A very interesting and pretty cool project indeed, the color scheme and layout looks really fine! Nice improvements with the fire station and the airport too!
  16. A classic story line, well told and very entertaining indeed. I´m looking forward to seeing that Chainsaw dude. But what´s about that Bumblebee poem, it sounds interesting, will we ever get the chance to hear more of it?
  17. Maybe it´s indeed not easy to keep PaB running. But with prices high in the sky like that, who´ll keep on buying there? A significant drop in sales = no business for PaB at all, and that´s contradiction No. 1 that I´don´t understand... And that´s just contradiction No. 2 ... ouch.
  18. A very fine work, it really looks like a sunny and comfortable little town. You managed to use many bright colors in a well matching way, like in your neat Shell Hotel, which adds a lot to the friendly and charming appearance of your nice layout.
  19. A fine and interesting ship, with very neat colors and great sails. I especially like the nice stern design.
  20. An impressive and wonderfully detailed work, a great and exquisite rendition of Classic Space (493 Command Center I guess...) indeed!

A fine and interesting design, almost a little retro, in a nice color scheme and very well armed, with neat details like that wheel rim and that missile loading hatch.
  22. Looks like a simply perfect crew of rough scoundrels indeed, very nice! My favorite´s that pretty weird one with the ExoForce hair.
  23. A very friendly looking house indeed, the color scheme and the flowers on the facade´re working great, the greenhouse on top´s brilliant (and could work well for Poison Ivy´s hideout too ), and the interior looks also very good, especially the store room.
  24. A very interesting and fine work! The water looks very original, and the white walls look great with these colorful round bricks. The neat landscaping and the timber frame house works also very well, maybe a chimney could be a nice addition...
  25. It´s very fine to hear that your dad and you´re having some serious LEGO fun together, martinsuper.
