All that trans red looks pretty nice, and that craft looks like some really fast kind of space ambulance...
-
A cool and futuristic design idea and a very neat MOC indeed!

Thanks for the nice review! Since that cool hoverbike in the 8596 Takanuva set I´ve a slight soft spot for some of these nice and futuristic Bionicle vehicles, and that one and the smaller but also very neat 8941 Rockoh T3´re really pretty cool ones.

Hello and welcome to our little clockwork orange...

A fine change that is indeed. I always thought that Space&Mecha´s a little too limited, although the term makes sense in a LEGO related historic context. It´s also fine to see that the term Sci-Fi´s here used in a more generous way... although this might confuse some hardcore Sci-Fi fans, but I always preferred to define that genre in a more open and Speculative Fiction-like way too. Of course, with the new Action subforum and themes like TimeCruisers, Dino, PowerMiners and Agents it seems pretty hard and haphazardly to draw boundaries...

A pretty cool story! The museum part was very interesting, and I´m glad he found a bike to move around.

A really impressive, massive and rough´n´tough looking space beast ship indeed, the color scheme works very fine and the details´re cool too, like that web to secure the cargo and that great figure head. The original use of the canoe piece´s brilliant too, well done!

Hello and welcome to our well flat-footed side of the brick, phillip10. Your picture looks interesting but it´s a little dark, so it´s not easy to say more. You would really need a better light source I guess... For all your other questions, just take a look at our tutorials here and you should find some answers.

Wow, that´s a really, um, cool idea and a very fine work! The diorama looks great and well detailed, the story sounds very interesting and your MF characters look pretty distinct!
-
Wow, a really bad-megablocks-armed fighter this is if I´m allowed to say so... very cool, the skull on front works great and the rear section with its neat engines looks also very interesting. A nice work, and these Space Wolves characters´re great too !

REVIEW:8963 Rock Wrecker.
Asuka replied to Da Death Star!'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the review, Da Death Star! That´s an a little strange but pretty interesting set... the new rock slugger looks rather cool, and the vehicle... hmm, it looks a little boring, especially from the side, but still... the coffee machine´s hilarious, and I like the roof details and the way they did the big rear wheel... and, what´s up with that trans smoke windscreen - is this probably a new part or did I miss something? -
Well, at first I wondered a little why you shouldered all the inconveniences to register as a member just for a post like that, but I´ve to say that your last two sentences really made my day, even when the included wit might be more on the involuntary side of humor... thanks nevertheless.

Hello and welcome to our little side of the brick, where any help would come much too late anyways...

Thanks for that review, Bricks. Beside the price I like that set pretty much and I think TLC pulled off the distinct shape and color scheme of that fine Star Destroyer really well. Hello and welcome to the a little more maverick side of the brick... If I´m allowed to quote Neil Young: Red means run, son, numbers add up to nothin'... Honestly, that score´s representing the personal view of Bricks, and that´s just fine. But if I´ve to evaluate the value of a set for my own needs I never need any numbers or polls or something like this. Some interesting and detailed pictures´ll do the job for me, and a more in-depth opinion of other people, especially if they point out something I missed to realize on my own, helps a lot too.

Thanks for the nice review, Erdbeereis. A very cool little set indeed, the low-keyed Spacecops´re a fine contrast to the brighter baddies and very versatile for MOCing indeed, and the K9-unit´s simply brilliant and lovely. For the helmets... well, i think that they add a lot to the Mad-Max-feeling of that line, but maybe it would be good if Cops on spacewalk-missions would´ve a closed helmet... but wouldn´t this require a more spacesuit-like torso design for them too, as well as for the Aliens?
-
Thanks for that fine review, Erdbeereis. I bought the two SP3 Impulse sets yesterday, and I´ve to say that they´re really great. The MF´s simply lovely and that spiky helmet can hold a vizor as well, which seems perhaps a little pointless but delivers a nice additional MOCing opportunity for sure. I even like that little, hmm... rocket chair, perhaps? It´s nicer than I thought and pretty funny to swoosh arround...

Thanks for that cool review, jansued. I really like that veteran - a cool starfighter design and a really nice set with some serious MODing potential. I already got used to all these march-through-cockpits, but a non-turning turret (hmm... is a turret still a turret if it doesn´t turn? ) for that model´s just a plain badly missed chance to put some lovely playability into an otherwise perhaps (MFs ) almost a little boring set.
-
A very cool reference starfighter and a fine and elegant looking MOC indeed, well done! And, like all the others, I´m looking forward to see your UCS B-wing, one of my favorite SW crafts.

REVIEW Castle 7097 - Trolls' Mountain Fortress
Asuka replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for that fine review, svelte_corps. The set still doesn´t knock my socks off, but it looks okay... the MF´s re excellent and the parts´re at least useful. Trolls Angels on! Now all they need´re some pretty cool bikes... Flintstones-style I guess... -
Thanks for the review, Cardinal Brick. I guess the set works fine for getting some pretty good MFs for a smaller price. Especially the King looks really good, his armor and that dark blue plume´re just excellent. Poor horse...
-
A very nice and action-packed story, a cool project and a very neat mini-flyer design, well done. I voted for stationary weapons, seems like a good plan... I hope. Let´s see what Mecha One says...

An excellent and inspiring work and a very good picture too. Scary!
