  1. thanks for nice comments... there is a lot of details across this MOC, but I've chosen only a few for the first post...that's why I've posted links to brickshelf folders...
  2. Except medieval market village set and kingdoms farm and blacksmith everything was custom built... On the pictures only one MMV set is modified, but now both are...unfortunately I don't have time and space to put it all together again, so I can take new pictures... there is a cherry tree too, but have only a few of those, so it's not easy to notice... burning oil was a problem on exhibition...a lot of people crossed the improvised fences to grab it...older people, not kids...
  3. thanks I've used around 10,000 bricks for entire creation...
  4. Here's a creation that I've been building a full two months, a few hours per day, for the 3rd exhibition of LUG Skockani (November 2011). This time includes everything from planning on a paper (based on the vision that has existed since March 2011.) up to the last detail the diorama. Diorama is made modular, so I could put it together in 2-3 hours, and disassemble it in about an hour... If somebody is interested, you can see pictures of construction on this link ... the name of each image is day-month-year-number of image , so it is possible to see progress by days... As a big fan of Lord of the Rings, an inspiration came to me from this movie ... I watched it 2-3 times in the 3 months before beginning of construction, plus I read the Hobbit and the Silmarillion ... The most concrete inspiration was the battle of Helm's Deep, i haven't tried to copy buildings, but pursued my vision ... There were many comments on the exhibition, and the vast majority of people recognize what it is, or at least from where came the inspiration ... and I am very glad about that ... Here are a few pictures, the rest are available in this gallery (not the same gallery, a gallery of construction) Dimensions are 4 by 6,5 baseplates...after lugbulk arrives I'll expand it to 6 by 8,5 baseplates... Comments are welcome
  5. here are some pictures from the event... not the highest quality, but good enough to see how it was...
  6. Hello, my name is Duško, and I'm vice president of LUG "Skockani" from Serbia. I want to invite You all to our 3th exhibition. Date: November 26th and 27th. 2011. Location: Center for culture and sport "Šumice", Belgrade, Serbia. Entrance fee: 1€. You can find pictures from past events on our official webpage: www.skockani.com under section Gallery. I hope I'll see you there
  7. There are a few skeletons that represent dead pirates and soldiers who died during invasion of this outpost.
  8. Here is maybe the best MOC I've ever made. I've made it for II exhibition of LUG Skockani, for pirates diorama. There is not much to say about it, everything is visible at pictures below... Comments are welcome
  9. good creations but i think next 3 works are the best fit to winter village: kost u grlu --- 3 points Stratorion ---- 1 point Kazeneko ------ 1 point
  10. the cottages baseplate is from set 5978 - Sphinx Secret Surprise
  11. Here is my first MOC. I've made it for the Brickenburg LUG contest... I've spent about 12 to 15 hours to build it, in 2 weeks period of time... Wind turbine is motorized with PF M motor, which is turned on/off with the tap (fountain) on the raised baseplate... You can see that detail from this picture, during the construction... There is not much to tell about this MOC, everything is possible to see from the pictures below... If you want some specific details, please do not hesitate to ask for it... Comments are more than welcome
  12. great MOC, i really like how you made that bridge...if i see correctly, you put 2 pf motors in the bridge, but i can't figure it out, where are the batteries...
  13. Nice job Matija! I hope it will be displayed at exhibition your LUG is holding in may, and that I'll be able to see it in person
  14. very nice model...it would be nice to see a video of this excavator at work...
  15. Thanks for the comments... At the moment I've started to build this MOC, my goals were to use as much as possible Lego technic parts from set 8292 and to make the roof on the way I did...As you can see from first 3 pictures, my creation was at the two 10x20 base plates, but then I've realized it would be small for creation, so I've moved it to 48x48 base plate...This will be just a part of much bigger MOC, I'm making with a friend...I need to purchase green 32x32 base plate, move creation to it, and then I'll add more details to this creation... @Darth Legolas If you've watched the video from the link I've provided, you could see 3 other videos I've made, while I was experimenting with motorizing this type of wind turbine...It was a lot simpler design, and battery box was visible...I've wanted to change that...
  16. Here's my first MOC made after a lot of years... I've spent a few days working on it, in a spear time... here is the phase one phase two... and 95% finished MOC, i need to change some old bricks, and add some small construction details, they wouldn't be visible from the outside... and some small video at youtube... it doesn't rotate as fast as it seams...i have bad quality camera on my cell, so it can't catch fast actions properly... real speed is 30rpm... please leave some comments...
  17. great job! I'm soooo impressed...
  18. from today 10210 is available at usa and canada's lego online shop...so that's probably what this map is about...
  19. very interesting work...
  20. great job man...looks like real thing...i think i saw something similar lego made for 2010...
  21. here is the latest, but not the final version, with rotating speed of 14,75rpm now it is in working in range of speeds for real turbines which is 10-22rpm
  22. here are two video clips of my way for motorizing wind turbine, but i think i'll reduce rotating speed from 44,5rpm in coming days... original speed of used motor on the shaft is 350rpm... on the second video you can see what is under all that bricks...
  23. you are right... i was tired while i was reading the post, so i didn't understood meaning of sentence... yes, our customs are pain in the megablocks  and we have no taxes on products made in EU...i'm not sure where is the logic in importers and customs actions...
  24. sets in Serbia are 50% more expensive because we have monopoly of 2 or 3 importers...and country want some taxes too... I'm buying sets on a sales or if i go somewhere abroad...we don't have paypal system yet, so i can't buy sets off the internet, well i can with iban, but iban is expensive... my friend bought all 4 Modular Houses sets off the internet, payed transport and iban expenses, and in the end country made him pay 20500rsd for taxes (more than 200€, 1€=94rsd) i'm buying only Lego sets, don't want to spend money on imitations...
