I think Lego could make a new marketing strategy that involves a list of set names that collectors can vote for....because whilst these sets are decent they aren't surprising except for the figs, if lego were to listen more to our input they might even make more of a sale!?!?!? Give the people what they want. All this aside I reckon the sets are sweet, especially airborne troopers never foresaw those going into production. I've decided to wait until February 20th 2014 I.e. The NY toy fair where all pics will be released, anybody else going to? Won't be easy but it's great to have no idea what the summer wave will be and seeing pictures first hand rather than constantly(yeh me) checking online for information can take a lot of the excitement out of the whole thing I've noticed, even the sets themselves. May the force be with us all :P

I think its because that squad of troopers don't really deffer from each other...so practically you do have a commander neyo.
-
The phase II clone troopers are really well done considering they re-used the same mold of the clone wars version. the exposed "skin" at the bottom of the helmet is off putting, it would look better with the neck part of the Lego head painted black to represent part for the troopers glove suit as it is so called in the films. thanks heaps nrg!! something to put on the "looking forward to" calender .

Please tell me this is a guaranteed date? thanks man

hey jay did you here anything else on the tri fighter...is it even happeningthanks man...we should be getting news on the mid year range soon hopefully?
-
mate that's cold, nobody bothered to tell the first dude what the aim fire action thing meant so he did...makes sense
-
Well to be fair, over here in Australia that chewbacca set generally goes for about $80-$100 and being a poor uni student doesn't help at all. commander Gree is gonna be off the shelf! Bricklink is pretty good too man, and seeing as it is only Lego that they deal with, quality standards would be better.

unfortunately the cape is custom which makes it look a gazillion times better lol jay did you see anything else noteworthy

There should be a thread for the ever increasing prices of Lego sets, this might be an odd question, but to you guys in the states, do you call it legos in everyday speech?
-
I've seen that clip for season 6 and if that's the case for the wolf pack troopers than that would be very interesting, CC Wolffes helmet design was awesome...based on past years, if one was to expect official pictures of this wave of sets, would it be anytime soon like this week or the next? It's odd that other waves are getting their final pictures released (for reasons unknown) why not one of the most popular lego themes
-
you're right it looks much more like the octu... Droid, everybody check out hothbricks.com
-
type commander Wolfe or clone wolf pack on Google and you will see what they should look like, this set is assumed to include new PLO koon, commander Wolfe and a wok pack trooper
-
I reckon, even though the new phase 2 clones are missing holes for visors, antennas etc. the barc trooper and airborne trooper clearly have unique moulds so the chances of a unique commander Cody helmet are strong...logically it would be crazy to have Cody's squad and not himself....
-
The phase two clone trooper looks really neat, and the kashyyyk trooper not too bad not too bad, thanks to the person for posting these pictures.

SOMEBODY!!!!! is out there laughin at us cause he/she has the pictures already....everybody on this forum, including the Brickdoctor, myself, everybody wants to see em, its killing us!!! exam period at the moment (aussie) and some pictures would certainly get the creative juices flowing if ya know what i mean.....PLEASEEEEEE BUd-eee

Awesome man, well to a fellow engineer in training, no harsh feelings, and continue the EB thread on confirmed information only, good to see I'm not the only uni student into Lego ;)
-
Minimod huh, interesting choice of word. Anyways a thousand apologies I am a uni student so think of it as taking a break from engineering papers and academic writing but i understand nevertheless.
-
Brickdoctor is going to end you "Republican" did you happen to catch his very recent post? but just quickly it makes sense to have the catamaran/turbo tank as we haven't really got a range of Wookies, only Chewie and Tarfull...so who knows. jay123 buddy can you shead some extra light on your info, its killing us.

hey man what do you mean by 75014 set? as in a commander cody utapau setand havent these numbers all been used and where did you hear this? in other words is it plausible lol ignore my second question, i was so pyched i forgot what you were actually sayin :P
-
this might not mean anything to anyone...but everytime i see these leaked pictures, i have mixed emotions, but when the day comes to buying them, and physically having them, those mixed emotions go away, and im referring to the original phase 2 helmets hear and they weren't that accurate in my opinion...so i say this wave of troopers will be pretty darn decent when it comes to buying them...alright im done here :P
-
browsing through hothbricks.com and the friends theme have their 2014 wave sets with images now.... sooo any day now for Star Wars its a comin!!
-
dude...chilllits star wars what do you expect, people will rave on and will ignore your authority, be psyched for what is gonna happen, although to you other guys "brickdoctor" probably wants to hear some set related facts not hopes and dreams when he jumps onto his computer, as do i :P
-
i think if that was the case they wouldve said so, but maybe the reason why it is using a blue phase 2 helmet, is probably because thats all they had that looked remotely similar to the new ep3 clones
