  1. Nice review, brings back memories from when I built the X-wing fighters. And yes the picture from Hoth inspired me at the time to try a layoutbuild of the inside of the rebelbase. Maybe that should be tried again. It is so often the outside is built as a large diorama. Well let us see. It is a jubilee of sorts next year in LEGO star wars. Interresting things might happen And maybe a similar review of Lukes landspeeder when it is reissued next year. Best regards Henning M.

  4. Hi I went to Rome last year, to visit some family members. And after much search I only found 2 toy shops both wih a very pale asortment of sets and at very high prices. I have asked my family and they say the prices are still generally higher than here in DK. Wich says a lot. Hope you might find some but if you are flying in, there might be a promotion set for sale on the plane. At least Lufthansa, klm and Air France had one last I flew with them. A nice little one with a helicopter and a raft. But you might better be quick as there are normally only one on the plane on the sales cart. Hope you have luck Alternatively there are a few guys in Rome tha do deals on Bricklink You might be well of by contacting them. Best regards Henning M.
  5. Hi all A bit about myself. I went out of my dark ages, when we got our dauhter Anne some years ago, and went to the everlasting LEGOLAND in billund, and soon found myself in the store looking with ave at all the great LEGO that had come ut since I stopped building as a Child. I must admit that I was sold completely after this. So we started out playing with LEGO PRIMO, Duplo and finaly with the "real"LEGO bricks at home. At a weekend visit to LEGOLAND we met up with some of the members of byggepladen and that gave the final push to "come out of the closet". In 2008 I had my first layout at our danish brickfest (a small moonbase layout) and since then I have progressed to city landscape layouts as well. My main interrests are space (also some star wars) and city layouts mainly landscapes and larger sceneries. at the moment I am working on implementing NXT to control moving parts. I hope to be able to show some of this at LEGOworld in Copenhagen week 7, 2010. Best regards Henning M.
