Thanks! I know there are a thousand more Ecto-1s out there each with superior detail or building technique but I wanted to keep mine as simple as possible; trying to find the balance between an official set and an MOC.
I don't think so, there'd be quite a bit of faffing involved - removing the seats, raising the roof etc. I quite like how 'flat' it is, giving it that unique Ecto-1 look.
No : (
Unless you took their legs off and did something creative.
There's also a bit of cheating with the back wheels. I had to trim the tires to make them fit.
Do you think we'll ever see any OOTP sets/minifigs? I prefer the darker (almost black?) uniform that the kids are sporting and Harry with a cardigan variant.
I'd like to see a band with minifig instruments.
I'd also like to see them trying to be a little more advanced like maybe producing minifigs with short sleeve prints or maybe a skirt sculpt for females.
Yeah, I'll put the LDD file up. I think it's like £20 or something last I checked. I did notice one problem though in that the base pieces aren't actually attached to anything! It'll need to be on a base plate at all times : (
Just a simple TARDIS. No opening doors or anything. I wanted it to 'look' as close to the real thing as possible whilst still being in scale with minifigs (many that I have seen always seem to be too wide).
