  1. HI, ive just seen an advert on TV for a Daily Mail Lego offer starting tomorrow ( Saturday ). Ive not seen it mentioned on here ( If it has please delete ). So I thought id give those who don't know a heads up too. Early morning start for me then..Sorry about the lack of info but im usin my PS3 to post and cant post the link
  2. Your right, Thanks :)
  3. With only really just coming out of the dark ages myself for a few years. Ive been wondering about all the Lego promotions that Lego have had over the years and ive missed. My favourite so far was the Star Wars Chrome Protocol droid from last year. So what’s been your favourite Lego give away so far?
  4. I was disappointed we weren’t getting the Clone trooper but I thought “ Well ive saved up, I can get the camper van “ ( which is a really nice model ). But it now seems like this is a store only and not a online promotion. And with what happened at Minicom recently. I think the lego promotions team should rethink there strategy. Because so many Lego fans are missing out.
  5. Grabbed my first few from Asda in Hastings ( southeast ). There also in W H Smiths here aswell.
  6. There is such an easy way for Lego to avoid all this negative and bad press, and make sure there promos go into the right hands. That’s to make a promo using a figure that coming out in a future release BUT give it away in an exclusive packaging. That way they get to promote a future realise and scalpers want be to keen to grab them ( knowing the can get a profit for a short time ).
  7. Ive not seen the mentioned on here ( if it has then please delete ) and I´d hate for anyone to miss out. Starting this Saturday ( August the 17th ) the Daily Mail are doing another Lego promotion of six poly bags ( including the Lone Ranger, Star Wars, and friends ). Link to the Daily Mail
  8. Hello everyone My story mirrors a lot of users on here. I played with Lego a lot as a child. But when the teen years kicked in, it was stuffed under the bed. Latter to be given away when I left home. Then I came out of the dark ages when I first saw the first Lego Star Wars land speeder sitting a toy shop shelf. Then after a few years I entered a sort of foggy grey period. Ive only stepped back out into the light again a few years ago. Now im proud to be a AFOL. ( im never going to see 40 again, that for sure ) Ive been lurking in the shadows here for over a year, so im hopping that my name will be familiar to you all soon, as yours are already to me. P.S. Id just like to say thank you to my wonderful wife for her understanding and support in my hobby.
