Mine came with two silver helmets in the bag and a golden one loose in the bag. Btw, I can't get enough of this set! I've playing with it for hours and hours since I got it. The only thing that really got on my nerves is that the helmets have very bad paint quality. It looks like some kid's been playing with it! >:-( |-/ Other than that I love it. I keep switching the beards and helmets around with the minifigs because I can't decide which way looks better *sing* :-D

Just got the set today and I've got to say it's awesome!!! I love all the new parts and minifigs. Just got a question for all those who already have this great set: I don't know if I've got lucky or something, but mine came with an extra silver winged helmet. It 's says it only comes with one at the end of the instructions, but I got two. 8-| :-) Just wanting to see if I was the only one. Anyway, great set!!! *wub* edit: Just read the post before mine which kind of explains my question. I guess they all come with an extra one, mine did!

Well I don't care about video games :-P , but I have read LOTR and seen the movies (which I love) and I definitely see the small ones as orcs and the big ones as trolls. I just can't imagine the small ones being trolls because trolls are huge, sometimes fat, and stupid. And ogres I just see as Shrek. Goblins I don't mind them being called as, except the big (he's definitely not a goblin).

I've got a few. Whenever I build from the instructions I always make sure the pins are facing the way it shows in the instructions. Also once I'm done I spend like two hours looking through the set and making sure there are NO fingerprints on there. It's pretty tough work. Also I admit, I took a minifig from my cousin when I was like eight. Hey, it was a Darth Vader so I couldn't resist. *wub* *vader*

Imperial Dropship MOC - Brickshelf Find!
Two-Faced Batman Fan replied to john cleese's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm pretty sure it's a prototype as well. I was looking through yesterday and saw that and all excited cause I thought it was real. But then I clicked "up" and it was titled "Ideas, special projects and work in progress". It's a MOC in my opinion -

Could someone post the pics on a different website? Brickshelf is down so I haven't seen any of the pictures.

From LOG: Legions of Gotham has confirmed with LEGO corporate... While LEGO will be producing more Batman product next year, there are currently no plans for LEGO toys based on the film 'The Dark Knight' I'm at least glad to hear Lego will be continuing Batman till next year *y*

I don't why anyone thought LEGO was going to bring back the Adventurers line. We haven't seen it in four years and that last wave sold poorly. What LEGO is trying to do now is bring it back some how, and what better way than to use Indy! *sweet*

Someone's gotten the Sith Infiltrator
Two-Faced Batman Fan replied to Two-Faced Batman Fan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
To me it looks like the eyes are the problem, they look too big or something. :-/ compare: original maul new maul -

I think it's just a prank for a few reasons. 1. Why wouldn't he have noticed the "x" before he bought it? I'm sure he looked at it before buying. 2. The fact that he didn't notice it before opening it is suspicious. You can tell that he already took it out of the package and put it back in. Look at where the gun's supposed to be. 3. The face under the helmet doesn't look like LEGO quality. Unless that guy can take an up-close, detailed picture, than I'm going to consider it otherwise. 4. It's too much of a big mistake to not be noticed by LEGO. I'm sure they do thorough checks of the figures before and after packaging. If it was a prototype then what's it doing there? How would it end up in packaging facilities. 5. Last but not least, It's a customization website. The guy probably just did a custom and wanted to do a prank with it. So my suspicions are that this is indeed a custom.

The next convention coming up were LEGO is included is Comic Con. Although I wouldn't get my hopes up because LEGO didn't show many new things at past Comic Cons. :-(

Actually a fair number of new pics have come from Brickshelf, for example the SI or the pics of the Tie crawler from the british Toy Fair. If it's real, sam will know it :-) As for the Hoth set, I'm not getting too excited. I assume it's not going to be very good or at least what we expect. :-(

New '07 Spongebob and Harry Potter sets
Two-Faced Batman Fan replied to boxcar3's topic in LEGO Licensed
I love that new HP castle. That Umbridge figure is totally cool with that new hair piece. I didn't recognize Snape for a moment and I'm glad they gave Hermione the new princess hair. I love the Herbology class and Umbridge's office(you can see her plates with the kittens :-D ). Can anyone tell what that wardrobe(or at least that's waht it looks to me) thing is on the building where Dumboldore is. Overall I love it and definitely will be getting it. -
I don't care much for the Sith Infiltrator only because I'll just be getting it for the Darth Maul minifig. I just hope it also comes with his speeder and that they make it more curvy. Remember that these are just prototypes. I highly doubt LEGO would go to the trouble of making a BH trooper with the new torso and helmet printing, show it at the Toy Fair, and then not make it. This has happened many times in the past. I remember in the Toy Fair of '05 where they showed the ROTS sets and they had the Episode II Clones in the prototype models. Chill out. btw that Millenium Falcon looks beautiful. Best LEGO set ever IMO. Most pieces in a LEGO set ever, first UCS set to include minifigs, only SW ship to be completely up to scale with minifigs, and most expensive LEGO set :'-) :'-( Truly a historical LEGO set. Hats off to LEGO for giving us the set of our dreams *y*

Beautiful, simply beautiful :'-) :'-) . Best LEGO set ever. All I can say.

I think we're more likely to see sets from the movie coming out in 2008. The thing with The Batman is that it's got a lot of people that would require new sculpts and such if they were made. IMO I think they should stick to the comic version for a while and see if it continues to do good. Then they could start exploring new ideas. It's like with the Star Wars license. It's been the greatest license LEGO has ever gotten and now they've extended it and are starting to do EU sets (ie Tie crawler). Remember that they're only in their second year so I think they'll continue to do the comic style until sales progress better and better. just my 2 cents *y*

I remember last year being a bummer. *n* We barely saw anything new. Hopefully LEGO does better this year. I'm definitely expecting to see the magnet set only because sam said it would come out in Feb. and it's already Feb. *wacko* So definitely expecting to see that *y* I also hope to see the Hoth Base. Bring on the Taun Tauns!!! :-P
-
Hmm, by that do you mean we are getting a UCS Millenium Falcon? *sweet* Well I was surprised by LEGO doing this, but I do like the set and that minifigure. *y*

New '07 Spongebob and Harry Potter sets
Two-Faced Batman Fan replied to boxcar3's topic in LEGO Licensed
I simply love these two new sets, but I will only be getting the boating school. That Mrs. Puff minifig looks cool, although she looks like Humpty Dumpty(sp?) :-D But where are the Avatar sets!! -
I love the look of that new bike. Unfortunately I may just be getting this one for Bane and his motorcycle, cuz the rest just looks ugly to me *sad*
-
I'm excited to hear about the S@H exclusives, but personally I would rather see System sets than UCS sets. System sets are funner *sweet*
