Yep, the rear wedge plates are probably going to be removed as well as pushed in one more stud to shorten the car. The front ones may be redesigned to shorten the car more, but I want to retain the front splillter in between the wedge plates. We shall see.
Dude now that I think about it, this car would be perfect as a batmobile especially minifig scale( I don't like big batmobiles). Not too big not too small. I wonder how big the official Lego Batmobile is. Hmmm, maybe if the car doesn't work out I can convert it to a batmobile haha. Yep, I built the car in LDD so my 6 stud wide windshield choice isn't much. I actually have stopped using this windshield in favor of a sleeker on in LDD, but the angle difference between the two is drastic. There is no in between.
Yea I agree the size is too large. I was trying to cram all the things I wanted into this one car. Maybe has too much. Maybe if I make it more simple it would look better and I could use other design traits into another car(can never have too many cars haha).
Yea the rear is huge. I tried to make the rear offset from the front like most every sports car has. In LDD it came out well, but translated into real Lego it is huge. I feel you on the Creator size. I was thinking of buying a Creator green car set, but it is too big for the minifigs. Now this car is probably even larger than the Creator car haha.
The car would smash on the truck if they get in accident.
Does anyone know of any windshields I could use for this car or any techniques on how to make it more sleeker? I have started to use the 6 stud wide slope in trans-clear. But on BL it is officially a slope rather than a windscreen.
Thanks for the comments guys!
