I ordered the sets Monday! I received this email: 27/6? I ordered it on Monday 11/6! Since when do the sets arrive to my house 16 days after I ordered them? It always took 7 days to me.EDIT: Wait,it said by 27/6, not on 27/6. This means that at maximum it arrives on 27/6, right? Shakar

You mean the white "neo skellie"'s face? Yes, of course. I apologize for forgetting that detail. :-) Oh, he would have a simple crown. Shakar

Mod & MOC: Something wrong made right (take 2)
Shakar replied to zero1312's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Sadly, I don't work for Lego. :-) Shakar -
The Village Invasion sounds great. That would definitely make things interesting. Personally, I think Lego will make some villagers, because it really looks like they're listening to the fans' complaints: with this new line multi coloured knights and weird swords (although they're useful for certain fantasy things) disappeared and the designs of the set, IMO, are a lot better. Plus the price to minifigs count ratio is excellent.Skeletons' Fortress 99.99 Euro From this dark base the Undead legion plots its plans against the kingdom! Will the brave knights sent by the King find out more about the secrets of their enemy, and, most importantly, will they manage to escape from the endless traps and perils the Skeletons' Fortress hides inside its black walls? This set features many traps, a throne room for the King of the Skeletons, a prison tower, a weapons cart for the brave knights, and more! Includes 3 skeletons, 2 black skeletons, the Skeleton Knight*, the Evil Wizard**, the King of the Skeletons***, 4 good knights**** and one horse*****. * the guy from the Joust set, just like the one in my avatar. ** the same Dark Wizard dressed in red and black with Ogel's head we all know and love. *** well, the guy behind everything, even more powerful then the Evil Wizard himself. He would have black arms, white hands, a dark bley torso with a skeleton emblem, a dark bley belt (the piece which attaches to the legs) with a skull printed on it, very similar to the Dark Wizard's belt, black legs with some silver or golden armour printed on it (similar to the samurai legs), a black cape (maybe with a white side) and a white staff, similar to a bone. **** 2 soldiers with neck protector helmet, one soldier with broad brim and one knight ***** white horse with dark blue helmet and dark blue and silver barding. Hey, it's great to see that you guys agree with me. True, we definately have to buy the sets! Don't forget the Chess, too. Really, did you ever see a 5 Euro set with 3 minifigs and an horse and a 10 Euro set with 4 minifigs? I never saw something like this. Shakar

Yes, I'm sorry but many of us ("us" meaning those who are interested in the theme) already knew this. Personally, I love the skeletons, altough I know there are people who disagree with me. In my world the "classic" skeletons are simple corpses, while the new ones with the glowing red eyes are the undead warriors. Yesterday I ordered the sets I metioned off S@H. I can't wait to receive that stuff....this is one of Lego's best themes ever if you ask me. Shakar

Mod & MOC: Something wrong made right (take 2)
Shakar replied to zero1312's topic in LEGO Action Figures
True, tough then it was removed from his head. Right now it's having some fun in the dark waters of the Pit, transforming Toa, turning Matoran into long time dead beings and enlarging small beasts, making them huge dangerous monsters. Great new MOC! Umbra's design looks really great on this. The cape is a really nice touch. Just two suggestions: first, replace the 4 plus rod on the Mask of Life with a grey 3 plus rod. Second, remove the pistons! They hinder the feet articulation, they ruin the legs and are just plain useless (well except in Kardas's case, and maybe in Fenrakk too). I always remove them from my large sets (except Kardas). Shakar -
Well, I was talking about the style Lego uses to do the chess sets. Besides, aren't Knights always pictured as horse heads? Regarding the Bishops, it is strange how Lego represents them as knights rather than actual bishops. I guess it's because kids prefer knights over bishops (although Chess sets are more AFOL oriented, if you ask me). That's exactly what I thought! I mean, it's not that Vikings wear all the same uniform, do they? They all dress up like they want, just like the pirates. Crown knights need to be nice looking, with all the same uniforms. Regarding the skellies...come on, they're undeads, do you think they all have the nice, shiny armour? Some have helmets, some don't, some have swords, while others have crossbows, or axes...you have to consider the nature of the faction when you build your soldiers.Shakar

Just saw this on Shop at Home, it looks awesome. 1248 pieces for 90 Euro? Wow! This year I can't afford it due to all the stuff I have to buy, but next year....maybe.... Shakar

I still think that stuff is new. Look at the ship, its shape is completely different that the Skeletons' Ship . The ship uses two hulls instead of one and its sails are different. The guys from the army behind the black skellie certainly aren't Crown Knights, because they wield "oriental pikes". Crown Knights never use that type of weapon, they have spears, broad swords, halberds...the only Crown Knight who wields and "oriental pike" is the knight from Skeletons' Prison Carriage. The guy who emerges from water wields a viking double axe, another weapon Crown Knights never use in the sets. I read that, it's really weird. And on the quote he says "Ha ha ha ha! Rise, my skeletal legions! Obey my commands and conquer the kingdom!

Of course. But you know, one might always forget. And I was fearing that the discussion would have been lost, this is turning into a sort of topic for the Chess sets. If my behaviour was foolish, I apologize.I only own the first one, from KK. It's a good set, with a sheer number of figs, enough to start a battle. The box is fantastic too. I skipped the Viking one because I didn't have the money back then and I wasn't really interested in having more Viking figs. But I'm definately going to buy this! 8 more soldiers (the Pawns) for each faction, Queens for each kingdom, a skellie King (I wonder if he's the Dark Wizard or a skellie..), 2 more knights (the Bishops) for each faction...then there are the Knights and the Rooks. I wonder how they'lllook like, since the can also work as things to decorate the two castles. Shakar

So....any news? I really want to see what that set looks like... Shakar
-
True, I did forget the horse. Guess that I'm a bit too biased. *skull* So: 6x soldier with classic neck protector helmet 3x soldier with KK broad brim 6x white skeleton 2x black skeleton 1x knight with grilled helmet 1x reddish brown living horse 6x white undead horse 18 minifigs+7 horses=25 minifigs. Shakar

It's true. Blonde Lego girls just aren't common enough. Shakar

Not going to go into the whole thing becuase like you said, Yoda, it's a legalised job in many countries, however I wanted to clarify what you quoted with this. That being said I'm not bothered by what you said (it's true that that face works ;-) ), if one doesn't feel mature enough to handle these subjects, well, nobody is forcing to join you here.I voted the white princess. She looks really elegant with the white, gold and black clothes. I love that combination of colours. :-) Shakar
-
Blueandwhite...that's a brilliant idea! It could add some variation to the characters, while retaining the "good vs evil" thing kids want in a set. Shakar
-
Awesome work! Gives a lot more depth to the Golden Tower setting, I think. All those trees make it look like an ancient temple. Shakar
-
Yep, that's what I meant. Their minifigs packs need to be "disguised" as something other, like in cases of the Chess Sets and of the Battle Packs. Shakar
-
Lego doesn't believe in morals, they believe in the fact that Bionicle and SW make a lot of money. ;) Lego next year should make: -A huge fortress of the skeletons, kinda like the King's castle this year-big enough, good design, with four walls and not particularly complicated rooms. Basically, a classic style castle. -Battle packs, one for the skellies and one for the Crown Knights. Skellie ones would include: one white skellie, one black skellie, one white skellie with horse, one black skellie with horse and one skeleton knight (kinda like the one in the Joust set). But since Lego can't make minifigs packs you would have to inclde something to make it a battle pack. Maybe a battle ram, or a catapult. Also, many weapons: maces, skellie swords, circular shields, ovoid shileds, axes, some crossbows too. Crown Knights ones would include: one soldier with neck protector helmet, one soldier with broad brim, two knights (like the ones in Skeletons' Prison Carriage and Skeletons' Tower) and a knight like the one in the Joust set. Again, you'd have to include a catapult or a ram, or...what about a weapons cart? Again, various weapons: lances, swords, greatswords, triangular shields, ovoid shields, axes, maces, some quivers and crossbows. That's all for now. Shakar

Is that set on S@H? I can't find it. Shakar EDIT: Nevermind, it's just on USA and Canada.

Oh, of course it's done purposefully. Lego is going back to its roots....... :'-) So, with that order, I'll have: 3x Crossbow Attack: 3x soldier with classic neck protector helmet 3x soldier with KK broad brim 3x white skeleton 3x undead horse 1x Knights' Catapult Defense: 2x soldier with classic neck protector helmet 1x white skeleton 1x black skeleton 1x Skeletons' Prison Carriage: 1x soldier with classic neck protector helmet 1x knight with grilled hlmet 2x white skeleton 1x black skeleton Total: 6x soldier with classic neck protector helmet 3x soldier with KK broad brim 6x white skeleton 2x black skeleton 1x knight with grilled helmet 6x white undead horse 18 minifigs+6 undead horses=24 minifigs! And that's by spending 44.95 Euro. Amazing. Shakar

Actually, I've already seen those, thanks for the review. I meant pics of your expanded army... Shakar
