  7. Hi! Very surprising! I heard about that "design leak". I ran my Emerald with PF on a show in December two days, about 6 hours a day (as long as the rechargable battery lasted) without any problems. On which brick, point exactly the piston is jamming? Cheers and thanks! Thomas
  8. As a child my biggest wish was a miniscale train layout. I never got it but what i got alternatively is still reflecting to my adult ages ;-)
  9. Try here!
  10. Hi! To get an idea how lager the regular AA bettery box would be in the Emerald Train tender, you may check out.Additionally try that! HTH greets Thomas
  11. I got your PM. Thanks for all the information. I'm still working on the Toy Shop. Seems more complex as suggested :-(. I don't know if there is a similar phrase in english, but in Germany we like to say: "Hardly the chipmunk cherish itself!" Greets Thomas
  12. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and yes. Did I already say Yes? Pls. more HP Sets!

  17. Hi there! My first train moc. I tried to motorize the engine itself. Many of train MOCs with BBB Wheels are pushed by tender based motors. Mine not, a old fashioned geared 9V Motor does the job. I used the tender to put ther IR receiver and the rechargable battery pack. The 50ct !!! IMHO the boiler is still to small and the whole construction might be heavier. It will pull 3 Coaches (36studs long). So, any comments are welcome. Cheers! Thomas EDIT: Of course "a Hogwarts Express Engine" ;-)
  18. Hi! I'll try the Snack Bar again. The Beach House was resized with Paint.net and I used the MLCad colour "Light Green" as the original basplate is brighter than the standard green. Cheers! Thomas
  19. O.K. Brickshelf is up again and you'll find the original BMPs here here Cheers! Thomas
  20. I tried that way! A little bit noisy :-( Any comments are welcome. Cheers! Thomas
  21. Okay! My first finished GIFs. Any comments are welcome. Pls. check here. Maybe it'll take a while until published. 4996 Building option 3 and 7993 Service Station are in progress. Regards! Thomas
  22. Hi! I'm interested in 4996 Beach House. What would shipping costs be to Germany? [thomas(minus)hess(at)online(dot)de] Regards! Thomas
  23. Hello! I think, you don't have to be worried about heating up. The power consumption will not heat up any device. I equipped the Emerald Express with the recommended PF Elements and it runs about 4h at medium speed. From my point of view another rechargable battery is worth ist. Cheap R/C Tracks....mmmh... I think the best way is to look for sales or special offers. HTH Regards! Thomas
  24. Hi Alex I got following response, when I tried to send you an PM: "You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board" ?????? Currently I finished 361 - Garage 675 - Snack Bar Nothing really in good quality:-( Maybe you can approve a little bit the pic quality? I'm still working on 7993 - Service Station 10199 - Winter Toy Shop Regards! Thomas
  25. Hi Alex! Thanks for reply! I'm familar with MLCAD/LDVIEW and that kind of software. I also exported once a picture for test purposes from MLCad and resized it via MS Paint to hit the 1stud=8pixel scale. Is that an appropriate way? That means if I own a set which isn't already included I have to rebuildat least the bricks seen from the top. Right? Regards! Thomas
