  1. Thanks for all the advice. the cargoo train looks god, and on the + side i can buy it here in a store. Its still electric however, and i'm not sure if its fun if i turn off the batterys.. I also check the net and found some favorits: 10173-1 - Guess this will be expensive! 4560 - Thanks Topsy Cret, i will look for this. 4564 - Love the design. 4535-1 - Also hard to find. 10205 - Thx again Topsy cret :) So whats best way to get older sets, ebay or brick?
  2. Thanks for the help. I think i go for 7669 if there is any left, its look more easy to "fly" with. And i did check the price again, its about 28 dollar cheaper here. So i can give him a small extra set with some droids if i go for that one :)
  3. Well going to buy one of this to my son. He will play with it and dont do any changes. What one is more fun? 8037 is about 57 dollars here and 7669 is 42. 8037 might be a bit to big?
  4. I'm sure he got no problem with the motor really. He is very careful with his toys, and i play alot with him. I found the following used old stuff on auction in my country: 4551 10022 10205 4560 4511 Not sure what once to bid for. 10205 looks nice.
  5. No guards please ;) Great posts and great advices!

Here is 7684 the bigfarm. One more tractor? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2508/398423..._1ec284a26c.jpg Like the pigs, but we already have 2 tractors.
  8. Going on a trip later this month and checked what can be bought on the plan, well this item was there! 11 Euro, so i did preorder a set. Maybe i should get 2...:) They also have 2230 for about same price.
  9. Well my 3.5 old son is still a bit young for Lego. He loves Thomas the Tank Train. However friday we went to the store and he picked a Lego set. He told me he liked the big train cargo set, but since i didnt know if he would play with it (it was expensive) we did buy a city corner kit. He loves it, we build it together and had alot of fun. Since he likes train and now Lego i figure next thing to do is buy a train+railtrack. However, i have no clue on what to buy. I dont like to have any motors at all, since i think kids should move when they play ;) Emerald Night looks great, but the big question is if there will be more trains in this serie? For the same money i can get the cargotrain kit. The set we did look at was 7898. Here in Sweden it costs about 160-180 Dollar. But i did also notice that this kit has a motor, something i would not use (Does it work good without motor, to play with?)
  10. Wow. Emerald looks so much better. Do you have the trainstation also?
  11. Well my son LOVES trains. He is still to young to build lego, but well i buy and he plays. (Well we build together) so it works out fine. I did look at the cargo deluxe kit in the store last day and the train station. Looks like they fit together. Now i wonder if the Emerald Night fits with this two kits, or if it looks way to big ? Any pictures on it in a kit?
  12. Me and my 3.5 year old soon was at the store to day. He did pick this kit. (i know he is to little, but we build together and both of us loves it, this is our first "big" kit) We did build the bus to day and he loves it. We will build the house tomorrow. Bus is 10/10, great design!
  13. A restaurant would also be great...
  14. Sounds like a great deal. Here it is about 50 dollar with our crazy tax system. So i guess its 30 in US. 552 pieces. Looks good? Any reviews of this nice house around?
  15. Have you seen it for your self? Does it look good? Hope we get the pictures soon. I did order Cafe Corner and Green Grocer yesterday and i'm very happy that Lego is making more modulars!
  16. I did order both cafe corner and green grocer to day :) I will build slowly for a hour every day, then they will last a while. Any suggestions on what smaller kits to buy that fits nicely outside the houses?
  17. ICA Maxi has it for sale, also the Anakin Y-ving :)
  18. Costs about 71 dollar here in sweden on sale now, normal price like 100. Is this a good package 3-1? Or is 71 dollar still to mutch?
  19. Thanks all. This item costs me about 220 dollar here, so its not cheap. So why i wonder was that if it takes 3-4 hours to build, well then its very expensive "fun time" :) Mostly since my kids are way to young to play with it. really think the 10185 looks more fun to build, but since Cafe is getting harder and harder to find i can always get 10185 later.
  20. Thx, i think Green Grocer looks more fun, but i know cafe corner will be out of stock soon. Why i wonder about the time is that the set cost me about 220 dollar in the EU, so i really like to get my money worth ;) Dont like it to be to easy.
  21. Correct, sorry for my bad english, from the EU.
  22. Sorry i wonder how long it will take me to build the cafe corner set. Is it like 10 hours or 20?
  23. Well, been many years since i did "Play" with lego. Did se this in the store yesterday, and WOW. How many hours will this last? If it 2-3 evenings it doesnt really feel worth it;) Cheers
