  1. Mustang Completed - got a bit lazy when it came to designing the body decal, but it turned out fairly reasonable in the end.
  2. You won't have to wait much longer, I'm working on Roy at the moment. I've currently finished the face decal and started on designing the body. Mustang is my favourite as well, he's one gangsta' bad a$$ mutha ......, I mean he uses science to spontaneously burn people alive - Mustang vs. Lust (Brotherhood) = WINNING! So stay tuned.
  3. I never actually get around to making the figures for my decals, as I really just do it while I'm bored or have nothing better to do. I will hoever be doing more from the series, namely Mustang, Scar and Lt. Armstrong. I feel that a figure of Hagrid's size would be too large for Al, a couple of bricks on the feet should be ample.
  4. You could always add some bricks to the feet area to make him taller than the others, also I plan on making Ed with the kiddie legs. That too should help make him larger, at least than Edward.
  5. Those look great man, If I had to suggest one thing it'd be to make those black lines bolder. Then they'll come out even better on the figs.
  6. I'm a huge fan of FMA and I can remember doing a whole bunch of characters from the anime way back when. After getting back into FMA with the new Brotherhood series I decided to try again, starting with Ed and Al. I have to say Alphonse was by far the hardest character to envision in LEGO form I've ever tried my hand at, far more difficult than my attempt at Darth Vader. So here they are: More Soon!
  7. Very cool. That hairpiece is perfect for Black Widow. Aside from the slight transparancy of the decals the figures look great.
  8. Well, only because the current vader head and decal look like poo and also because Vader is so bad-megablocks that he deserves to be honored justifiably in LEGO. The first offical Vader decal looked like... well I don't know what it looked like and that was the point, the new revamp figure really didn't do it justice. I suppose the body decal would look great partnered with the sculpted head. I envisioned the figure to have a removable helmet so it would look like the Battle Damaged Vader figure without it on. Can't really think of any more reasons other than the awsomeness.
  9. Here's a Vader decal I did a while ago while over at MCN forums. Still not too happy with the silver tube things on his chest plate though, however it does look good in a larger image. Hope you guys like it.
  10. Bit of a bump here. Some one was good enough to create a custom utilizing my generously distributed decals, shame about the situation in full: Just found someone trying to pass of my decals as his own for profit and am slightly outraged. If anyone onn the boards here recognises this flickr account or screen name please let me know so I can have a few words about this to the plagerizer themself. http://www.flickr.com/photos/amadgunslinger/4785167645
  11. I have since completely re- done my Lognan in the leather jacket to be more Lego'esque, having to sacrifice some detail in the process. I may re-do the other three decals in some time.
  12. Absolutely love the Jokers. Any chance of a shot with just the two Jokers and Harley?
  13. Would love to get my hands on that X suit decall.
  14. Allright quick update. I have just finished the Wolvie with leather jacket. Added to first post.
  15. Thanks man. Yeah it's hard to find the balance between details and Lego'esqueness. I've updated post with a new decal, Lumberjack Logan.
  16. I've updated the thread. The finished decals are posted in the first post. Have a look and let me know what you all think. I might add another couple sooner or later, possibly one with a flannel shirt and another with leather jacket.
  17. Excellent work on the Riddler, my favourite is the Fourth down. For me it encapsulates the character perfectly. As for The Bookworm, never even heard of this character.
  18. Oh, okay. I can get on to that. Although it doesn't really suit Hugh Jackman's portrayall of Wolverine, to me that is. I'll experiment with it over the next few days. Any tips for the torso? I'm thinking of adding the belt + the beltbuckle as it is a signature feature of the Character throughout the X Men Films.
  19. Yeah I know what you mean, I thought his hair was brown as well. I think I'll still run with the brown hair on the finished decal. If you like this character then I'll have to update my previous Darth Vader when I'm done with Wolvie.
  20. No not at all, any help is greatly appreciated. Currently it's lacking that lego'ish feeling.
  21. Not quite sure I follow? You are still able to draw in Photoshop, is it because it's difficult to work with? Because personally I find it easy to use and ends with great results. At the moment I'm having some trouble keeping the torso in style with the face decal. It's proving to a pain in the megablocks.
  22. I've edited the decal so the facial hair is now of a slate grey, almost black shade. It actually doesn't look too bad to be honest. I'm still working on the torso at the moment. I'm still not sure what was meant by adding structure to the hair?
  23. Thanks. Well I have experimented with various shades of brown and grey. But this really seems to suit the design perfectly. the colour of the hair has been somewhat bugging me. I'll have to review some more colours and see how that goes. I actually haven't ever made any customs, couldn't really be bothered really. You can test it out for yourself if you want to see, should be interesting to see the results. I'm not really sure what you mean?
  24. Hi. This is my first new decal since joining the forums here a few days ago. I wan't really happy with any of the Wolvie's or Logan decals available, so I opted to make my own. I am still about half way done with the Torso design so i should take a few more days. Especially with some exams coming up soon. The Decal was made using the vector tool in Photoshop. This is my first attempt at making decals in Photoshop. Previously I've been using Serif Draw Plus, but it gave me the absolute shits. It was always losing my files and make working in it quite nerve wracking. If it appears blurry or fuzzy it's because of resizing. The original file being significantly larger. Enjoy:
