my local lego store sells they boxes at $70 USD each. you can grab what they have in stock or they can place an order for you, but delivery can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on supply. They stated over spring they would on;y get 10-12 boxes a week, but when summer hit they began getting their usual 25-30 per week.

I have my first MOC done and it is fairly large. 64 x 64 studs and 30 bricks tall. (it's a replica of my house i built) i want to display it and possibly lend it out as my developer has expressed interest in it in displaying it in one of the models. I don't want it out in the open to get dusty and damaged. I want some sort of glass enclosure or clear plastic enclosure to keep it in possibly with a custom stand to hold the case in too. Any one know a good online site or resources where i can get this done?

7595 Army Men on Patrol; Toy Story; 2010; 90 pieces; $9.99 USD Of the Toy Story sets, this one seems to be the one most wanted and talked about. I was able to get one of these it seems before most. I got mine at retail at the Schaumburg, IL Lego Discovery Center lon December 8, 2009. Funny as the Lego store 2 blocks away did not have them yet. ( I guess I'm lucky as i live within 10 miles of 2 Lego stores and 30 miles of 4!) The 4 minifigs that come with the set. 1 comes with the medic helmet and 3 have plain. The top and bottom side of the mini-fig baseplates. Jeep, but missing the final 2x2 green plate on the rear, shows up in later pictures though :( This is THE SET to get from the Toy Story set. It for sure will be a winner in the lineup! For $9.99 USD these won't be on the selves for long. I am without a doubt going to pick up a few more of these, they are really cool and a bargain. I can see lego putting them in a 3 pack magnet set and selling them for $14.99. It is a must for every collector. These will go into any display just fine, Many people will be using various pieces for MOC's!!!! There is not to much to say about this set because it is so small. 4 mini-figs, a Jeep, and a few accessories and that's it. Yet somehow this set seems more playable than sets cost 10x as much!!!! If you see this set, get it!!!!

7590: Woody and Buzz to the Rescue; Toy Story; Released 2010; 92 Pieces; $19.99 USD This is my first review so please bear with me :) This set was purchased on Decemebder 8, 2009 from the Schaumburg Lego Discovery Center, located in Schaumburg, IL USA. For some reason they had them in stock there but not the Lego store inside Woodfield Mall located 1 or 2 blocks away. Buzz and Woody. Notice that Woody is about 1/3 taller than Buzz. This is due to the fact that Woody uses a 3 stud tall legs and Buzz is the standard 2. Buzz comes with a 2 piece wing section, the chest/helemet piece (with printed torso underneath) molded head and half helmet shield. Woody comes preassembled in its own sealed bag and the hat is permanently attached. Buzz with the firecracker attached. He is attached with a inverted tile with center post in the center. During the build, really simple but some really nice colors. Lime green and the blue look real nice togeather. :) All the pieces in this set are printed on and NOT STICKERS. I've seen too many stickers lately, this is a nice thing to see. R/C. He looks really good. Although in this picture i forgot the blue discs behind the white discs on the eyes. I added those in later pictures though. The wing in moveable up and down. It is a pull back self running car. I will grab a quick video of that in a few. please be patient on that. I really like this set. I loved the movie and this set is a definite keeper. The pieces and build are simple, but when built R/C is a really nice looking model. His pull back feature is a definite plus. The colors look great, the eyes are what does it for me. The 2 minifigs are the definate reason to get this set. Buzz is cool looking, the wings are a nice touch and add to the overall look of him. The only downside I have with him is that his clear shield easily pops off. Many times without knowing it when moving him it was gone and i had to go find it. Woody is different too. He is taller than most minifigs. His legs are 3 studs tall but his torso is the same as regular minifigs. His hat is non-removeable. This set is a good value at $19.99 USD. I would like to see it at $16.99 or maybe $17.99, but all in all, not that bad of a deal. I recommend this set to any collector and any kid who just wants a fun Lego model to build and play with, as it is very playable.

I now just finished the Lego Army men on patrol 7595. The mini figs are cool!!!! ALL Green, (think tree green) One mini fig comes with a medic helmet (white cross on front) the other 3 are plain. The jeep is neet in all green too. Comes with 2 rifles, 2 binoculars, 1 mine detector, 1 stretcher, 1 backpack, and 2 radios. All in all a definate keeper at $9.99 USD!!! The all green mini fig to me are worth it!!!!! I might just buy a few more sets to make my green mutant zombie army!! again full res pix on flickr at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/35155593@N05/...57622844403869/

Ok I built it and it looks really nice. Full photos are on Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/35155593@N05/...57622968641954/ The nicestest thing about this set? NO STICKERS!!!!!! That's right the art on the lime green pieces are painted on!!!!!! R/C looks really nice, the colors are bright and vibrant, actually the piece count is lower than i thought it would be. Woody is a lot taller than i think he needs to be, his legs are 3 studs tall! Buzz is nice, his clear helmet shield is only half a shield (it is suppossed to remain in the "up" position and not cover his face) and it doesn't stay on the rest of the helmet real good, the clear shield keeps popping off. Other than that it's a good set for $19.99. I think it's maybe worth more like $16- $17 USD but all in all a good set cause buzz and woody look good and for once painted bricks and not Stickers!!!!! PS the army men are coming up next!!!!!!!!!

Well I am coming along with it, decided to just butt the slopes up togeather and it actually doesn't look so bad. still need to add some color to the dark brown to imitate bricls on the remaining part. The bad news? $500 from lego, i think I'll look into downsizing it a little maybe hmmmmmm.
-
I like it i'm going to give it a try!!!!! soon i'll post an update with a pic of the the actual house for comparisons. I need to add some brick texture yet to the dark brown areas, some more wall lights, and need to play around a little yet with the front porch area, needs more detail work. Add some gutters and downspouts, a back deck etc.

I need to figure out how to make an inside corner using the 25 Degree slopes. the 45 degree slopes have the inside concave corners but not the 25's. I need a technigue so i may finish up making a MOC of my own house. (please forgive me as this is a working progress and NOWHERE NEAR DONE :) Still needs detail work) Plus this is my first attempt at a MOC!!!!!
