They can't do that, because that would pretty much mean remake the whole movie again: Ezra Miller is in almost every scene and plays several characters.

Honestly at this point, even if the movie does come out, I really doubt LEGO would want to release the set and get involved in that mess

It's just keep getting worse and worse with him right? Just when you think its over, a new thing is revealed. But It seems The Flash tested extremely well, so they are going ahead with it. Also, probably because that movie will officially nuke DCEU as we know it. I wouldn't be suprised if they push it back after Black Adam, Aquaman 2, Shazam 2. It would be interesting if LEGO decides to cancel the sets based on that movie anyway, just for the Ezra Miller controversy alone. Or maybe they can just release a Batman-branded Michael Keaton set somewhat based on the movie, without referencing/including the Flash. Also, another good thing: The Batman survives the merge! which means the sequel will still happen

Well rumor has it Flash and Blue Beetle will also be cancelled. Blue Beetle I believe it, but Flash was too expensive to just throw that money away Agree Its the best option right now Or even BTAS. Its the 30 anniversary soon anyway. They released something for Batman 89 anniversary

Dude the Batgirl movie was just cancelled. They are not even releasing it on HBO max I don't blame TLG for keeping the DC movies sets at minimum. They dont even know what they are doing at WB

After Series 23 having literally none, I'd say at least a new animal mould in S24 is a must

But last time almost half of the line-up came from What If? I assume because those characteres wont appear anywhere else and therefore are highly unlikely to be revisited on sets and such. So, they work better as stand alone minifigures The CMFs are revealed around a month before the release: an april reveal could be too early/spoilery for the What If Season 2 characters This is my guess, of course. I could be wrong about it

There are for sure more licenses they can do, but one has to wonder why this shift back to regular series is happening. Maybe the price? We know TLG is raising the prices soon. Maybe they'd need to raise the price of the CMFs again because of the license fee but they considered unfeasible? Like we are at the limit of what a customer is willing to pay for a single Minifigure Or maybe the recent regular series have been more profitable than the licensed ones? Maybe this a side effect of the pandemic somehow? If Series 24 is followed by Series 25 in May 2023 then something definitely happened ....
