  1. Indeed, this is a good set! I don't own it but would like to have it... Too bad the knights kingdom II series seems to have such a bad name among eurobrick members. Despite its A+ playability factor and the great fantasy feel.
  2. erdbeereis +3 who's your daddy?
  3. First of thanks to all who replied. That's really appreciated! The attachment to the hull or the colorscheme are not yet changed but your comments are noted and spot on. Unfortunatly Ratshot (for now?!) decided that they will not be adding extra spaces... Let's feed him to the sharks :pir-skull: Anyway, meanwhile I started a second house with the other hull. I used a different technique and because of the previous build I think it turned out much better. I call this one the captain's house. (mainly because I couldn't find my pirate minifigs and only could find the princess from the castle series...) Captain's house on Flickr and here's a view with the fisherman's house Constructive feedback AND a petition to get me into the community build are much appreciated! cheers stanley Kbrick
  4. Apart from the observatory itself and the yard I really like how the buildings are interwoven. Really good building technique. respect!
  5. I've started a moc awaiting new building spaces. Hopefully these will be made available... wannabe community build entry cheers stanley kbrick
  6. and here are the viewes from all sides. here's the complete set on flickr * I had a really hard time connecting and keeping everything fixed. * On the stern I want to add a lamp. * The backside shows the bottom of the hull and I find this quite ugly. But how do I fill this impossible shape? :pir-skull: :pir-skull: Suggestions are welcome. cheers mateys stanley kbrick
  7. As I keep telling my girlfrien you can never have too much lego. Seriously I thought I had a lot of lego but hanging around on these forums makes me very humble. Very impressive fleet by the way! cheers
  8. WHooa this build fills up quickly... I'm interested in the fix it shop (#41) but I am not sure wether I'll be able to build it in time (busy schedules at work). Since I don't want to take the space and than keep it empty I'll think I build it on my own and enter it as a regular moc... Or as a double entry as soon as/if this is allowed. thanks for the initative!!!
  9. hmmm... I'm probably the only one that likes these knights? I always thought of these colored armors as festivity armor... Good faces and nice sets. Stanley KBrick
  10. Really beautiful moc. It reminds me of the bates mansion. What are the pieces you used for the roof? Especially the corners Can I ask how much the dad paid? cheers Stanley KBrick
  11. Very beautiful moc. Pleasant and friendly looking. I for one love the way you made the water run! (wizards hat) cheers stanley Kbrick
  12. Hi there, I love the wall, the buildings and all the little stories you've got goint on. Good work. One question though what's the grey circle assembly supposed to represent that's on several of the buildings? stan
  13. In answer to your question: THE EXCUSE VERSION: the cook is still baking them in his new extended kitchen (the captain's cabin is torn out for the big oven) one with bananas, one with apple and one plain THE REAL VERSION the round yellow plates I ordered haven't arrived yet... thanks for all the responses! They are really appreciated.
  14. although there seems to exsist a big clear baseplate this is actually made out of several 16x16 baseplates (from the mosaic series). This made it possible for the anchor to go through the water, but also made it harder to balance the whole. It's really hard to get this visible on the pictures so you all have to take my word for it. good luck everyone stanley
  15. Oops. I'm really sorry about that. The Idea for this entry actually came from my six year old who wanted to know what I was doing and wanted to enter also. So when I asked what the pirates would do once they where done fighting, he replied well they go and get their treasure offcourse. Anyway thans for the nice comments and sorry again for doubling your idea. regards stanley
  16. I hope you like my entries! Looking forward to any critique!

  18. Hi there, after lurking for several months on this forum (and participating in several contests without entering) I finally decided to really join. I'm 38 and came back from the so called dark ages about 7 years ago. My girl and I were thinking about an original birthcard for our soon to be born son. We finally decided on a brickfilm. I discovered brickfilms.com and soon after bricklink. Through the past 7 years I've bought randomly from the several themes. At the moment I'm really into pirates, medieval, fantasy and steampunk. My son is into powerminers and everything I'm trying to build: There's an extra challenge for the average afol, trying to build while your kid sits between you and the containers of bricks. So there you have it, the average afol coming back from the dark ages story! Stanley Kbrick
