Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Night 1
Darth Hawken replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I sent in my requests I hope I as well as a few others who I'm not saying don't get killed. But let the Killing begin. Also a tip: If you were a nizam I think you would be talking the most, so if someone hasn't got on I'll bet there not the nizam. -
I am Hawken a humble protector if one has the money to give. I am a mercianry soldier willing to risk my life and save yours. When I was young I traveled europe and went on many adventures one I had to kill a spartan in a gladiator match but these adventures have made me what I am today, a humble protector.

REVIEW: 8683 LEGO Minifigures Series 1
Darth Hawken replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great review WhiteFang. I think this is almost the greatest review of all time but if anyone doesn't want to buy the whole box couldn't you just feel. I mean they are all different shape and whould feel different so look at an image and see if the minifigure inside the bag feels like the shape. Just guessing. But seriously I am going to buy these but sadly not till June -
Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: SIGNUP!
Darth Hawken replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I would enjoy playing If I am guaranteed to be killed Sign me up -
I normally do a base of regular rock pieces that lego uses then put slopes all over it so its sturdy and sleek looking.

This looks like an awsome contest I'll have to do a battle from the American Revolution or the 7 years war or even maybe the war of 1812. But sadly only one entry.

Wow that saw almost looks real. -
I used to collect the old Bionicles but got tired of them so stoped. Now I was hoping that some one on here would trade or buy them from me. Please Pm me if you are interested and I will give you a description of what I own.

Since Tron is a Disney Film I think lego wouldn't have a problem getting a license and It would be a very good theme, Although I don't think lego would keep it very long like they did with speed racer.

All of the sets are now avalible on the lego online store. They were also listed in the latest lego catalog I think at very reasonable prices.

This set was the best evil castle ever When I bought it I got about double the parts I was supposed to have which was a giant plus The archuteture was amazing especially the parrapets and colmens holding them up. Also the cracked wall and the spin wall. Another plus was the palintir ball but I agree with Svelte the seige equipment was lacking

No I meant just not focusing on warfare. still have knights but some in sets of peace and some in sets of war.
-
In my Opinion It world be cool If they had some sets in the time of peace and not focus on the evil characters just having a normal Stable, BlackSmith, Market, Knight Outpost, Feilds of Crops, and a Garrasion that way kids could learn how to play in time of peace not periods of war and this would also please AFOLs

The reason for that would be I'm trying to find some decals or better torsos for Merry and Pippin beause Pippin had a blue vest and Merry had a yellow vest.

Here is an image of the Fellowship, sorry I didn't get some of their faces. I hope this inspires someone to build a LOTR MOC. At the moment I'm trying to build LothLorien for "The Meeting of the Elves" but I am waiting for some peices from bricklink to arrive. I will post it here when I finish. By the way it won't be the whole thing just two trees one being the house where Celborn and Galadriel have their thrones (the bigest tree in the center of Lothlorien) The other will be just an out post one with platforms and houses so I can have some warriors in the MOC.

Do you know who discovered North America was it Amerigo Vesspuci, Leaf Erikson, Columbus, or John Cabot? I just went to the United States Capital and they had a Timeline of American History and it portrait Columbus discovering America in 1492 but I thought he laned in the Carribean If some one would anwser my question it would be a big help. Any Way I am Amazed by History of all sorts especially Greek, United States, and WW I and II. Also General European

I completely agree with you if LEGO every made any thing from Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit the mini figures would be lacking and the size of the building or landscape as well. My solution to the problem is have large scenes released in different sets that if you buy them all the could connect together to give you ine large building. THe smaller stuff like battle packs would just be one set. But as for the idea of getting the Tolkien licence I believe is a brilliant plan, there are many LOTR and Lego fans out there. And is likly we will see sets when the hobbit comes out in 2011

Tat is one mighty long list. Yet brilliant, you haven't missed anything from the relm of Middle Earth as I can see. Though I think It would be awsome if all the Middle Earth fans here on EB could group together and make buildings or sets from your list similar to a community build or something along the lines. What do you think?

Do you like studs hidden or showing?
Darth Hawken replied to Legoist's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I go with studless most of the time. I believe it captures the sleekness of a MOC yet on some things such as landscape I use studs. Another way I use studs is for footprints but then every thing else has to be covered with tiles -
Pirate/ Colonial Wig
Darth Hawken replied to Blackheart Brit's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Fantastic work on the wig. It would look even better if it had a braid in the back or something of the sort. Nice color choice as well -
I was just curious to know what is the average time you spend on Legos a day if at all? I suppose most of the members of EB are AFOL's and have jobs yet TFOL's have school too so most people are occupied most of their day. I just wanted to know how much time you devote to legos on an average day. For me I would say in a day I spend 3-4 hours or none at all in a week about 10-20 Also what is your build rate and how long does it take you to make a creation? For myself I build slowly and take my time focusing on the details.

MOC Marco Polos house in Venice
Darth Hawken replied to thomassio's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Your Venice creation is spectacular and full of detail. The bridge is well built and the house looks awsome yet it would be a pleasure to see the wrest of the inside once furnished.
