It was nuts and not really well planned, based on the insanely long lines and disorginization Saw some great MOCs that I saw on lots of Lego/AFOL photo sites. Son loved it, and that all that counted.

Yep,, got both in one shot, confirmed on the reciept. Too bad they ran out of week 4 bricks though. BTW, this week, TRU's notable sales are the combine harvester for $39.95(6 off) and the Farm set for $10 off at $79.95. SOme other city stuff is on sale but after their jacked up MSRP prices, same as Lego.com

YMMV, but you can combine the TRU 15% off coupon with the ba g offer they are running. That storage bag is nothing to write home about(probably can find something like it at the dollar store), but free is free right?

Meh, The guy is a brick artist. We dont criticize Adult Fan of Paintings for selling their self designed paintings or Adult Fan of Sculptures for selling their sculptures. If it helps the guy buy more birck to make something even more impressive, then power to him. There are plenty of other AFOLs that are remarketing their plans to make tanks, guns, other MOCs etc at a profit. Whats the difference with him? I wish I had that kind of talent.

Best part of Bricktober was that Brick 500 on the 24th. Free lego build of a car and you get to take it home. My car must have weighed a good 2 lbs of solid lego and my sons was a pound and a half. No rare pieces, but you can't turn down free bricks

I'm going. Never heard of it before, but Lego's HQ is in Enfield CT, so it's gotta be good...lol Seems interesting and not too expensive for a day of lego goodness. I'm an AFOL and gonna bring my 6yr old CFOL lol.

Looks nice, but if you aren't a bionicle fan, it's worthless. The tractor appeals to all because it's free brick. The book though only appeals to bionicle lovers. I may be biased as I have no interest in the stuff.

Sounds like the strategy is to buy 3 DS's and ring them up seperate and keep scratching till you get 50% off and then return the rest. LOL. Bet that will piss off the staff. SOunds like a strategy for me to get some big technics sets cheap. LOL
