  1. So, You think I should get rid of some of those inverted slopes right?
  2. I already got the net, so I'll make some photos 2morrow and post them. Some other small changes will appear as well :)
  3. I don't know if any of them were mine, i think i saw them somewhere, but i wont remember where. Thanx for the tips tho and that great photo, that was exactly what i was looking for :) Edit: Some new photos. I don't think if that's any good...
  4. Luckily the furniture is the least of problems concerning this WIP. I have a few questions: 1)Should I push the lower part of the stern one brick back, so it would be like the upper part? 2)Maybe make the walls vertical, so it would be easier to make the sides of cabins? I'm not sure I will be able to make them slope... 3)Should the cabins be directly above the steering something:P or even more behind it? 4)And i'm thinking of removing the fence and the balcony in front of lower cabin, tho i would have to make more deorative elements lower Of course I'm talking about the most recent photo:
  5. I added some interior to captains cabin. Here are the photos: And the officers crew:
  6. Thx for the replies :) I hope you will like the changes i made, as shown in first post EDIT: And i don't even hope to finish it this year, though I'm not sure how big will it be yet. I was hoping to make it with 5middle sections, but may even use 4, or try harder and use 7 :) I'm not in a hurry, so... EDIT2: Which windows would be better? those normal red ones, or those chequered yellow?
  7. Hi! I always wanted to make a ship, finally I started the build. As i dont have enough midsections yet I do it from the aft section. The rear wall and the captains cabin are something i can make just now with my number of bricks available. I must say that the CREDIT goes to cpt. Blackmoore, as Le Fourageux is a great inspiration for me. As for the name it's completely MOC :P as Polish navy was almost never too big or succesful (except the battle near Oliva of course). Jan Kazimierz (Johannes Casimirus in latin) Was a Polish King during Swedish Deluge, an invasion on Poland which took place in XVII century. Jan Kazimierz had to flee the Country to Silesia, but after a while when Swedish took more than they could hold he was able to return and liberate Poland and bring peace to the galaxy... erm... Poland with signing Oliva Pakt in 3 may 1660. Comment Please! :) I have made some hanges, and I think it looks better. I may even leave the black-yellow-white colours be. What do you think? First Update: only one picture now: Oh, and I think i will change the red windows into white ones to match the details, what do you think? Edit2: And i'm thinking about changing the colour scheme completely so She doesn't look like Blackmoores ships
  8. Silly me, i just noticed i have 3 castle impulse sets: 2x knights armoury and the wizards something, and they have loads of brown round 1x1 bricks. I used them for the tree and for the pillars. i also took those 1x6 brown bricks, and thus i had to shorten the dock, what do you think of it now? New pics in the first post in a moment
  9. It's a homemade fishing bait, like on that picture: http://www.philippinefishing.info/wp-conte...na_feathers.jpg I could have used the indian feathers, or a plume, but that one looked the best IMO. The fishing net would be great if i had one, i'll see if i can get it on a short notice. One little thingie about the fishing rods: The string is original LEGO :P And again, those brown bricks are a menace... I wanted to use them, but still i couldn't find any
  10. Well, ill try, there still is some time left, and i will be in a lego shop next week, so i'll try to buy some stuff. Thx again! :)
  11. Thx for suggestions! The palm tree idea - marvellous - I'm doing it right now, as well as the second fishing rod. Unfortunately I have no brown brick at all, so black would have to do, most docks in Poland are painted black anyway. I'll post new pictures right away!
  12. 98c FINAL EDIT: Hi again! as the contest is coming to an end I've finally made some photos of my vignette and post it here. I changed the older photos into links, not to trash the post So, here it is: "Quality time with friends" Cpt. Trubal and Cpt. Brickbeard usually act as a competition to each other. But, as it often happens, after work they happen to be very good friends. Both of them love their work, and also they both have similar hobbies. One of them is Fishing, which they like to do together. This time its cpt. Trubal who caught the fish, and Brickbeard grabbed the net to help him put it in the barrel... And NEW photos (6 photos for the competition): /////////////////////////////////////// The older versions:///////////////////////////////////////////////// Hi everybody! Finally I managed to join c-p.com! Last year I also wanted to join PTV Contest, but no time, and not enough bricks stopped me from doing it. Luckily i put myself together this year and decided to do something nice:) I applied some suggestions to my vig and here's what it looks like now: Second edit: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/trubal/M...l/2upgrade1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/trubal/MOCs/Pirate-MOCs/PTVII-Small/2upgrade2.jpg First edit: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/trubal/M...ll/upgrade1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/trubal/M...ll/upgrade2.jpg Original photos: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/trubal/M...VII-Small/1.jpg I have made this small vignette which I must say I am happy with.
