I intend to :) I'm after the latest Who figures, and hopinf the TF Movie Ironhide and Starscream can be found :)

As I asked others not to in past, would be rather rude of me to heh. Not got train home till 4pm on Saturday, so will spend afternoon browsing the shops of London. I've never been before...
-
I won tickets to see press screening on Friday! Woo-hoo!
-
Ummm...36 Each Episode had 6 levels, so 18 for each game, 36 for both, no extra levels for new. BUT that does not count 'bonus' levels, so I bet there will be new ones when you complete game or something.
-
I need Mirage, Grimlock, Cliffjumper and Ramjet. Unsure about Devastator at the moment as its just a repaint, though I don't have Energon versions...

I enjoyed that. Very creepy. My kids were behind sofa, just as it should be lol.

TRU have movie displays up! Got myself a Leader Prime - a VERY nice figure. No deluxes yet, except preview figs, but they should be here in week or so (whats the bet they turn up after the offer ends?) Ironhide and Starscream are Wave 2 voyagers, so should be here this side of movie release - but having said that, still waiting for wave 2 and 3 of the Classics to turn up on the shelf... 5150 Lego - would take you up on offer if you find those classics ;)

Seriously, you don't know how good you have it over there! I picked up Voyager Ratchet and Blackout, and Legends Bumblebee, Barricade, Jazz and Ratchet. No Leader or Deluxe Class (except preview figs) round here yet...

Very good episode. Had a tear in my eye at the Remembrance Day scene... And the Doctor sure does have a dark side...

Not very eco-friendly ;-) Ironhode and Starscream. Those obtained in UK?

They were, but Hasbro asked Argos to remove them from the system. But they will be available on Saturday, so not a long wait...

I agree with you to some degree, but it's not the same. Spiderman and Batman movies were based on a comic book. Transformers are based on a toy line. The G1 cartoon was an 80s interpetation of that, though it was the first it was not the defining version (I preferred the comic version myself - for the first couple of years, anyway). Can't fault you there! Only in the same way Armada/Energon/Cybertron did too LOL!!!

1. He didn't. When last seen, he was in an escape pod flying away... 2. The original Cybermen were from Mondas, Earth's twin-planet. They were man-made in that the inhabitants on Mondas were Human.

They are already in stock at Argos... The book-of-the-film

LucasArts and Telltale Games announced today that they are collaborating once more to come up with a new installment to the LEGO Star Wars video game franchise. The new game will be called LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga and will be released Fall 2007 on platforms PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS. Well, the game is not new in the traditional sense. The movie series' Episode 1 to 6 used to be divided into LEGO Star Wars I and II. LucasArts mentioned that this is not a simple re-compilation as it also includes new characters and features as well as revamped levels. TT Games Director Tom Stone commented, LucasArts was an amazing partner on LEGO Star Wars II, and working with them on The Complete Saga continues to be a great experience. We're also thrilled to be focusing on next-generation consoles and creating content that plays to the strength of each system. Speaking of which, the 360 and PS3 versions will both have online capabilities that will allow cooperative two-player, drop-in and drop-out gameplay. The DS and Wii versions, on the other hand, will be focused on the platforms' unique control schemes. All versions will feature 36 Story Mode levels. Lastly, Telltale mentioned that the Prequel Trilogy characters can now be mixed and matched with those from the Original Trilogy. That means we will finally be seeing the ultimate chick from the mother-daughter tandem of Princess Leia and Amidala, albeit in Lego form

When the Daleks next appear (and they will...), I'm hoping for something different from a 'last of the Daleks' story. I'm quite satisfied with how the Dalek story has gone sofar, but it has now reached a point where it can only repeat itself, or do something to bring them back full-force. The only satisfying route I can see is if Caan finds Davros, and they rebuild the Daleks. As for Cybermen, though the Alt-Earth ones were vanquished, we can still see 'our' Cybermen return...

I'm afraid I couldn't disagree with you more. You can't dismiss Beast Wars/RID/Armada/Energon/Cybertron as mere toy commercials, and just assume TF:TM '07 SHOULD be a successor to G1. This is my biggest problem with TF fans (of which I have been since getting my first TF and issue 1 of comic back in 1984). I have NEVER seen the same reaction over the movie when all the other series started. It is now common practice to re-boot the mythos every few years, and no-one has ever been that bothered before! This is just the same as that - a new re-telling of the Transformers story, completely seperate to what has gone on before. They have even put in G1 references to please the old-school fans, but most just seem to take this as a slap in the face. I am extremely enthusiastic about this film, and my kids can't wait - it is, after all, THEIR Transformers. I think we older fans must realise that the torch has been passed to the younger generation, and I for one can't wait to be in the cinema with my boys. Ah, I feel better now :-)

I'll add you when I'm next on :) My GT is UltraPrime360

I was a regular on many a TF forum for many years, but last year the complaining about the unreleased movie got too much. Not been on a TF forum in 9 months now...

Fantastic. Unfortunately, release date confirmed as July 27 in UK now. Can I, on behalf of us UKers, ask those fortunate enough to see it first to not give out spoilers :) A spoiler thread is fine, but just make sure it's obvious. Ta.

Is anyone here playing this? If so, want to team up sometime?

Good for you :-| -
Totally agree. I liked the sound of it, so made sure I watched first ep, then was hooked. I've not been so impressed with a new series since 24 first aired! Who is your favourite Hero? I think Hiro is great :)

Could be like those birthday cards you see - just open lid and it laughs.

Yes, this will be an ongoing magazine. It will reprint the IDW movie-verse comics, and have a new exclusive strip written by Simon Furman. It's on my buy list ;)
