It's a good idea to change the clone trooper to a storm trooper. I'll change it. I'll try to make two more karts. I didn't realise that all the minifigs were in the original trilogy. I'll have ti keep in this way.

Here is my new MOC. I really wanted to built small things after my maxifigs. But i still wanted to continue with the star wars universe. I decided to try to built several karts with star wars minifigs. I've been working on these karts for several days. At least, each kart has been rebuilt entirely one or two times. Here is the result : Darth Vader's Kart B-Wing Pilot's Kart Leia's Kart Yoda's Kart X-Wing Pilot's Kart Clone's Kart

The brown arm from a monkey is a good idea. It would be good if they sold complete torsos. I had difficulties with the orange, there are differencies with the old orange legs and the new ones.

I bought also Arealight Twi'leks. I'm also very satisfied with the quality of the minifigs. I love all the star wars minifigs, and these customs are great. I'm just a bit disapointed that it was not possible to buy complete minifigs but just the specific parts. I had to buy the arms, legs and hands with Bricklink.

Same reflexion A very good idea indeed !

I agree with the idea, but it's not very easy to do it, and I want to keep the toy spirit of Lego. And all the minifigs are flat Of course, in the flesh color, it will cost too much unfortunately. I'd like to make my maxifigs in the flesh colour.

Well, if you can explain
-
Yes, like the other maxifigs, this one can move the head and the arms. I'll take photos to show how the ars can move.

Here is my new maxifig. I wanted to create a maxifig of Leia, and the most emblematic is Leia when she is a slave in Jabba's palace. The principal difficulties were the bra and the hair. The first photo is one of the first version. With the advises of my friends on Legopirate forum, I did over again, here is the result : And the family photo :

Actually, I'm working on a new maxifig : slave Leia (the old version, the yellow one). Pictures will come soon.

I recently discover Battlestar Galactica and I'm now fan of this series. I really like your viper. It looks like the original one. Good job. I just prefer the original colours.

Great MOC, highly detailled. Very inventive with using parts like the minfig arms for example.
-
Great job ! I like it. I would have put some tiles on the Dark Gray parts just to hide the studs also.

Thanks for this private joke

Great job. Building mini sets is not as easy as it looks

A very nice gift and a good idea.

In fact, only, the hands, the arms, the head can move. The helmet can be removed too. Fot the legs, it could be an interesting challenge. But, I only use the officiel maxifig instruction to built my maxifigs, and in the officiel set, the legs don't move. Thanks all for comments.

Well, I bought a lot of the orange bricks on bricklink stores. There are no more orange bricks in Bricklink stores now

Thanks for comments Han Solo would be a good idea. For a Darth Vader maxifig, I'd like to built one, but with all this black, I think it would not be as great as the other maxifigs. It could be a great challenge.

Well, some bricklink stores have no more orange bricks left

Here is my second maxifig (I really like building maxifigs, despite the number of bricks). I wanted to build a rebel pilot because of the colours. My Stormtrooper was great but too white. I decided to choose one whith shiny colours. The rebel pilot was the best one among the old star wars minifigs. This is the final version. For this maxifig, I made three versions : - the first one with the torso which was too flat, so I decided to make it with raised patterns. - the second one was devote to the helmet, the first one was too thin on the sides. - the third version is due to my son, I helped him to built a maxi spiderman and I realised my pilot was four bricks too high. (my stormtrooper is also four bricks too high, I'll have to rebuilt it). So the week-end, I've rebuilt the torso of this maxifig. Here is the result.

Thanks

The number of pieces is around 2 000. I didn't count. I could have an idea with all my bricklink orders. As it was my first maxifig, I choose the stormtrooper, well known in the star wars universe. If I rebuilt this maxifig one day, I will choose one with more colours, Fox or Cidy would be a good choice. I've also built a maxifig of Luke in pilot costum, this one is better with the orange bricks. I saw your work on the Boba Fett maxifig, it's really impressive. At the date of today, for the Jango fett maxifig, I've done the body, the arms and the head. All the easy parts. I've been working on the jetpack, whici I want to be separated from the helmet and then I'll have to built the helmet, which is the more difficult part.

Great MOC, I'love the way you built it.

An interesting project. It's not very easy to build this round Stormtrooper helmet. When Burman said it's a bit blocky, I think he wants to explain that the helmet should be more round and not like a square. well i've tried unsuccessfully to made one for my maxifig. Here, you can see my three versions http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=316732
