-Tilius- replied to sologuy369's topic in Culture & Multimedia
In no order: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Super Mario Galaxy Mario Kart Wii New Super Mario Bros. Punch Out!! Resident Evil 4 Super Paper Mario Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wario Land: The Shake Dimension Animal Crossing is also quite addictive, despite doing nothing new, and de Blob is also pretty fun for a while. - Tilius -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

You can't tell if they're unnecccessary because you haven't seen the second part yet. And they hardly make it much more complicated. - Tilius -

How can you tell if they're a waste of time or not, when you haven't seen Part Two? - Tilius -
Fully Articulated Levahk, Painted, Canister Class

I dern't get it. Why doesn't it have a Krana? Looking at the build, it could easily be added. Not fond of the black/green colours either, and it doesn't seem to do anything that the original didn't, except a moveable head, which you've sacrificed Krana, snapping neck and the curl-into-a-ball features for. It doesn't make sense, and the black splattered on doesn't even make it look nice... - Tilius -
Wow, that Slave I is niiiice. And a new Boba head as well - I've been wanting that for a while. I'll definitely pick that up. Not quite understanding the white thing though - obviously it's Han in Carbonite, but presumably a very much unfinished prototype? The Wampa Cave is quite nice too, finally a chance for me to get a Snowspeeder to go along with the reported AT-AT. - Tilius

Not sure if I'm reading this right, but are you saying that the new line will use these sorts of parts/builds? i.e very little technic, all just ball-joints and sockets clicked together. It's a nice set and all, but I don't see the point in buying it when I've already got a bigger, better version. That's not to say I'm not going to buy it, 'cause I am, but still. One of my favourite Stars, I reckon. Any chance you could try find a way to swap the head with Vezok? Just to see what it's like, with Nektann's head on a bigger set. - Tilius

I need me that Iron Man. Nice display. - Tilius

And would you have approved it if I'd asked? Anyway, I was aware of that rule, which was why I didn't present it as a petition. Only when I had found there was a lot of support did it begin to be a petition - by then the ball was already rolling. - Tilius -

Fine - slightly smaller, for the price of Skopio, say. Just because somebody calls it a petition, it doesn't make it one. Anyway, the topic wasn't a petition topic. See above. General interest. - Tilius -

If Lego release a bloody awesome big set made of System, AFOLs will buy it. Plenty of AFOLs buy Spongebob - I'm sure they'd buy a big Bionicle set. The topic wasn't a petition topic. It was research. And thanks for looking into it, Siegfried. - Tilius -

I left for over a year last time. And I did show the signs of leaving, and I did do it. So your point doesn't stand at all. I wasn't trying to fool, though. But what the hell does this have to do with anything? Exactly - focus on it, and not mine. That's lovely, that is. I have blog followers and friends on there. Of course I'm going to say something about it. It's not going 'all public' to post a blog entry. That's basic convention when moderately well-known members leave. - Tilius -

After returning from a year long break between 2007-2008, one of my first blog posts was how I'd probably have to have another lengthy break at some point. I've always said that too much of BZP does bad things to me. I showed every sign of wanting to leave, if you paid any attention. Which you didn't, so you have absolutely no right to comment. To the first two - apparently I can fool some. And to the third thing - again, absolutely no right to comment. Now, mind your own business and go play in traffic, douchebag. - Tilius -

Yes, because that's obviously why I chose to leave BZP. Because I want attention. Not because I value my health and my future. If you know I left, presumably you read my leaving blog entry, so I can't understand why you don't know the real reasons. Either way, don't talk about what you don't know about. - Tilius -

If you could do that, it'd be cool. Just to generate enough hype around this potential set so that Lego can see that it might be a profitable thing to bring out as a S@H exclusive. - Tilius -

Hey guys, As we know, Bionicle is ending. The Stars are the final sets we're getting, apparently. Many people are thinking that these aren't good enough as finale sets, and the general consensus is that people want this guy in set form. Here's some concept art: For people who aren't fans of Bionicle, this guy is basically the definitive character - most of the storyline takes place within this robot's body. He'd also be pretty hard to represent purely through Bionicle pieces, and it's most likely that, if made as a big set, plenty of System elements would be encorporated as well. That's what, I think, might interest AFOLs. Think of it as a UCS set of a Bionicle character. Importantly, though, is that for this set to be made, the fans need to ask for it. Now, it's likely that most of BZP will be on board, but that won't be enough. What we Bionicle fans need is for fans of every other theme to back us up, so to speak. The Bionicle storyline is to continue until at least 2011, giving enough time for the set to be designed. As a possible S@H exclusive, I think the idea of this set coming into existence isn't too far-fetched. I'm just interested to hear what you guys are thinking - not only those Bionicle regulars, but fans of any other Lego themes. I really think this set could appeal to everybody, done right. My blog here will be kept updated with any progress made on this project, and, if you're a BZP member, there's a poll about this here. Please give your help. Thanks, - Tilius

I hadn't seen a few of these before. Good stuff, the Bohrok were quality. - Tilius

The BZP topic where Greg asked members to list their six favourite protagonists. And because many members are made of fail, Alternate Teridax is ranking quite highly, and most people have wasted their votes by listing villains. Or asking dead characters to be brought back. Ugh. Anyway, yeah, tally them votes! - Tilius

So what do you think we've been talking about for the last 104 pages? Seriously. Common sense. Not difficult. - Tilius

Which I am, of course. So well done there. :D I was thinking of following it with 'And you know what? So was I.', but thought nobody would get it and I'd just seem cocky. - Tilius

Nice reference. Yeah, I deleted the .txt set list thing, that's probably why it's like that. When it is public, however, it'll be FANTASTIC. - Tilius

My gallery has more and better quality images. Just so you know. And the Piraka and Rahkshi canister images aren't about yet. - Tilius
