Personal attacks? Where? - Tilius

The year doesn't matter! The point I was making was that the new carbonite mould will probably be used in a Cloud City set, which is exactly what you're saying! Don't try and take the moral high ground. I didn't say anyone wants an argument, I said that you've created an argument even though you agree with what I said - so why do that? You just don't make ANY sense. - Tilius
-
So yeah, you did. Which is exactly what I was saying. The new carbonite mould is going to be used in a carbonite freezing chamber/Cloud City set. Why are you arguing when you agree with me? There's no need for any discussion about anything in the world. But as far as I can tell, this is a discussion forum, so saying WE DON'T NEED TO DISCUSS THIS completely contradicts the point of this forum. But for Christ's sake, you AGREE with me and yet you're managing to turn it into an argument. - Tilius

Why the hell would TLC design a piece just so they could include an extra minifig? Why would they want to increase the amount of money it costs them to make the set? Your 'theory' makes no sense. Nor would they include it just so people could moc a freezing chamber - people could've done that with the previous carbonite Han. And we're already rumoured to get a Cloud City set this year. - Tilius
-
The link has probably already been made, but the demonstration of the Slave I shows Han is actually in the carbonite block - which seems kind of pointless unless we're getting a carbonite freezing chamber, don't it?

You didn't even bother to change the filenames. Anyway, the full lot: - Tilius

Is it not silly to prefer a design just because it's the finalized one? And it looks pretty Bionicle to me....the same could have been said about the Piraka or Barraki - that's what this design reminds me of. Obviously when people say they prefer it, they don't expect that rough design to be the final one. Obviously it'd be more polished in the end, but even as it is I'd prefer it. They're basically the same 'cause if you read the instructions...it's like the same building process. No seriously, I just checked. It's the same build, except for the arms. But they're still basically the same. It's ridiculous to say that they're different. 'Cause you just have to look at the set, or the instructions, and they're basically the same. If Chirox looked like a Bohrok, then I'd definitely class them as different. But they're like the exact same set. 'Cept with an extra piece added on here and there, and a colour scheme change.... - Tilius

Actual Chirox sucked, IMO. 'Cause he was basically Antroz. That prototype is far, far better. Much more interesting and original in design. Don't start talking down to people who disagree with you. It's not 'unreasonable' to prefer that design. I'd say it's logical, to be honest. - Tilius

Seems really unlikely that every TRU store will only be getting those two. I expect the guy didn't know what he was on about, or he was only talking about that particular store. - Tilius
-
What makes you think TRU are only selling two of them, bearing in mind that they're shipped to stores in packs which contain all six variations? And in Argos, just customer view the item to choose which set you want. They might not have them all, but that's just the same as going to a store where they don't have them all on the shelf. Plus, with the new catalogue just being released, Argos just send out sets randomly to ensure that every store has at least one on release day. - Tilius

Ahhhh yeah, I remember seeing that actually. Thanks much. - Tilius

What, where's this poster? - Tilius

Rofl, can nobody interpret blatent sarcasm anymore? Ridiculous. - Tilius

I've only just seen these clearer images. Not fussed by them, but 7170 would've been a good Toa Nuparu. - Tilius

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

It could be the other glove, but nothing's yet been said, so don't treat it as fact. What has been confirmed by RTD is that Claire Bloom's character was indeed the Doctor's mother. - Tilius -
Yeah, I've got that. It ain't fun. - Tilius

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

They're the British design of Daleks. Built to be used in World War II. There's a glimpse of the TARDIS interior going around the web at the moment. Shouldn't be hard to find. Doesn't reveal much, though. - Tilius -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
-Tilius- replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
True, but when asked about it later he looks off towards Donna, implying that it was her. Which would suck. I'd have quite liked everything to have been fully explained within the two episodes, really. - Tilius -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Right, now I get it. Yeah, an extra race seems a bit pointless when an older race could have returned instead. Like some type of freelance Ood, 'cause that'd also give a chance for the whole Ood race progression accelerating mentioned at the start of Part One to be explained. - Tilius -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
-Tilius- replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Okay, you may have preferred them not to be there, but 'they aren't integral to the plot' isn't a good reasoning for this - because they were integral to the plot. You probably mean that you'd have preferred a different plot, with just the Doctor, Master and Time Lords, but in terms of this plot, the Vinvocci were exceedingly important. That what you mean? - Tilius -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Well it isn't a matter of opinion, really. They were integral to the plot, despite you previously saying that you 'know what happens' and that they aren't needed. - Tilius -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

So the Vinvocci were integral to the plot, then... - Tilius -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Cool. Well in that case it's completely fair to judge it before seeing it, then. - Tilius -

And he memorised the entire script and everything? - Tilius -

So you've seen all of Part Two? Is that what you're saying? Since this is a discussion topic about Doctor Who, and we're talking about Doctor Who, we are 'on target'. And they're called the Vinvocci. It also doesn't take a 'huge fan' to listen to the dialogue in the episode, anyway. - Tilius
