I think the fire helicopter is too un-realistic and i think that 4x4 comes w/ the copter because that big round thing is legos version of the water drop buckets that are used from helicopters. I think (I hope) lego is holding out on the fire truck with boat. I also hope it isn't going to be a remake of this! By the way, thanks for the pics, but i think half of lego city fire 2010 is hopeless.

if you want my opinion, i think that if you took the 2007 fire station and the 2010 station, put them on a large grey baseplate, and moved some parts around you could have 1 really nice fire station instead of two "cheesy" ones. And remember, the city theme is directed to young children and TFOLs like me, not AFOLs. (Although some of them like the sets.)

Alleuia! Fire Fans Rejoice! The new face of the Lego City Fire Department is here! With more universal trucks to fit into any U.S., canada, or other global department! Sorry i got a little carried away, but everyone has the right to do that when the see these don't they? Some of you AFOLs don't like them, but thats your opinion. Finally all us fire buffs have some nice parts to work with. Alleuia!

I know, i just lost my head, sorry. I agree that we need some more useful City sets like a bank, post office, etc., but i also think that lego should improve on the old fire sets and hopefully make the more detailed, thats all. By the way, has anyone seen pics of these yet? I checked in the instructions page on lego but no luck there.

Well, me being new to EB, i can't call out any members, but I think that is unfair for our AFOLs to be saying that TLG is stupid to release fire/emergency sets yet again. The AFOLs who do not have a voice (Like me 5 miniutes ago before reading this thread in amazement ) TFOLs (like me) and AFOLs have a major hobby in fire truck building and making our city very realistic with big fire stations and trucks that are more U.S. like. We welcome these new sets with open arms because we also need the parts to make are own creations. There are some narrow-minded comments in here. If you don't like them, DONT BUY THEM!
