Remember, Lego is made out of OIL!!! That is not the most cheap thing in the world right now...AND we get a NEW torso!! It is a bit pricey, but I don't care, as long as the quality of the brick does not become like best-lock or mega bloks.

While I agree that it is difficult and expensive to make buildings to scale with the 6-wide vehicles, i totally disagree that we should go back to 4-wide, as you cannot possibly get that much detail in. There is a way to make buildings to scale.Customize it to fit your needs! TLG shouldn't do all the work for you, it takes the fun out of building and playing with lego! Lego does their best to make city buildings as realistic as possible while keeping them in a normal price range. No 5 year old is going to spend $299.99 on a garage. Chances are the kid may not even build it the right way and customize it, or for a TFOL and AFOL they probably have enough bricks to complete it the way they want it. All lego does is give you the basis, you can make it however you want.

I agree. Lego wants you to use your imangination, so don't expect them to make everything for you. Besides that's why "creator" makes houses that are compatible for city.

Lego plays with your head it's a marketing ploy. Yes, some are leaked but most of them Lego releases for a very short time then pulls them off the site. Think about it.

Well, if you know an owner of a toy shop you can ask to see the dealer book, or wait another few weeks for better pics to come out. Remember, 9/10 city vehicles have license plates.......

I would hope so. I always had a city that was too small. Now my city is ready and waiting.

Well, remember, most kids don't care. It will probably go on their "Main Street." That's what city is directed twoards. Also, if they made it like a normal airport, it would be way too expensive for the city line. :tongue

Agreed. Lego never has shown us a partial set. And besides, there is no hitch for a boat trailer, nevermind the fact that Lego always puts boats w/ fire engines (Don't ask me why)

I guess TLG made them take these pics off, as these photos were deleted. The only way to solve the pickup question is if someone could find a way to read the front bumper because it has the set number. My guess is that since we have not seen a small city fire set that this truck w/ boat set will be like 7942 and the coast guard truck put together, or a nice fire engine with a boat trailer. Hope to see pics soon. Matt

what does everyone else think about the pickup? I also agree that the tanker looks nice although it is abit <insert that tiresome argument>, lego has not made this good of a tanker ever!

I still say that the truck goes w/ the helicopter, but that my opinion. And i think you have the wrong pic giorgio
