Party Lines Mafia - Conclusion: Discharge Petition
Lego Spy replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yay! We won! I was converted night six. -
I assume some people are still interested, so I thought I'd give the thread a little bump. Thoughts on upcoming games? Opinions on Club Nintendo shutting down? Also, in case anyone's interested, I have a Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate demo download code for the 3DS I'm willing to give away. PM me if you'd like it. (first come, first served)

Party Lines Mafia - Day Seven: Recall Election
Lego Spy replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If I were scum, why would I want to support the existence of a converter role? I will admit, that after taking a look over the Bobby vs. Siegfried argument yesterday, that changing my vote was a fairly stupid decision. As for the reason I thought a vote on Speedy would help ensure a lynch... I'm honestly mystified at my own brain's capability to look at numbers and understand them... -

Unless better defenses are given: Vote: Molly Callaghan (Mencot) -

I feel that an impeachment of Molly is definitely our best option for today, given her behavior, and her almost non-existent defenses. She was also fairly quick to vote for Speedy yesterday, which in part, started somewhat of a bandwagon. -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Six: Cloture
Lego Spy replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Alright, call me scum and an idiot Siegfried, but I'm changing my vote. I've been thinking about it alot, and I feel we need an impeachment today. I don't know how Tiny feels, or if he'll even vote, but I think we do need a lynch today, and overall I think Speedy's defenses to Bob's accusations haven't been sufficient enough to justify his claimed townness. If Siegfried is town, then Bob will definitely be at the top of my list for tommorrow. Unvote: Bobby Borchard (Bob) Vote: Siegfried Dixon (Speedy) -

What, is this a game to you or something!? ... ... ... -

Alright. I'm going to go with my gut feeling here. Vote: Bobby Benedict (Bob) I feel like "bussing" off two of your scum teammates would overall be a very poor decision on the scum's part, and certainly not a mistake Siegfried would make. Also, Bob, your sudden participation in making defenses/accusations/general playing of the game seems more like a scum struggling to hang on to life than a vanilla townie trying to help his team get rid of scum. I could be completely wrong on all of these points, but, as the saying goes, only time will tell. -

Honestly, I'm torn. Bob seems suspicious because of his posts in the past, but he has made some decent accusations against Siegfried. I read Addie, Archie, and possibly Bjorn as town. Molly's strange posts, behavior, and apparent dislike for Siegfried* today seem somewhat unusual, and Tiny just, hasn't said much, although I get the feeling it isn't an attempt to stay "under the radar" due to his contributions in the past few days. * I agree. I don't see any reason why you would have, as like you said, the only thing it would do is draw unnecessary attention. -

I was under the impression that this discussion Speedy had with someone was not in PM, and was instead in thread or from a previous game with a converter role. I understand now that that wasn't the best thing to say, and I'm sorry about my mistake. -

Hmm, Pierce (looking at a previous game in particular) goes about defending himself as town while being bandwagoned a little strangely, though it really seemed the evidence was sufficient. Then again, we didn't really have a better option. What I'm wondering is whether Gerald was a scum kill, or a vig kill. A mafia kill seems like it would have been a poor choice. Personally, I'm not sure how I feel about the rest of you ( ), though highest on my scum list are Tiny and Bobby, although Molly has been playing a bit 'undercover' for much of the game... Out of curiosity, where and when did this discussion take place? What is the average number of scum players in a game this size? -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Five: Bureaucracy
Lego Spy replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmm... I didn't get one of these "conversion" PMs either, so I'm assuming the role would only allow you one message per night if this is legitimate. If Sinclair was indeed a converter, then would the remaining scum player choose to swap his role Sinclair or keep the kill role? Of course if there are more than one scum players left, then that decision wouldn't come as a problem... I agree with these questions. Out of all the other players, why would Sinclair pick you specifically other than that very few people have named you as suspicious? Also, I agree with Pierce on the grounds that your sudden bringing up of this information seems somewhat out of place. -

Okay then. Vote: Pierce Davy (Piratedave84) My thought exactly... Sorry about that, almost voted wrong. Vote: Pierce Davy (Piratedave84) -

I've been suspicious of Pierce since Day 2, and after his posts yesterday and today, I feel he's probably our best lead for today. Bob's still on my radar as well, though, so I'm going to hold off voting a little bit longer I think the expression you meant to use was "put one and two together". -

I was rushed, and wasn't fully concentrating on my post. -

No. If you paid attention to any mafia games in the past you'd know that there are penalties for not voting/incorrectly voting. In this case, Siegfried as speaker had the option to steal my day three vote, which he did. So it wasn't my decision not to vote on day three, because I didn't have the choice to in the first place. -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Four: Gambit

Well why would Siegfried, an essentially confirmed townie, lie about who is scum? Vote: Sinclair Viola (Scaevola) (OOC: Not getting it wrong this time! ) -

I was under the impression that we had to vote for a speaker, and that there wasn't a choice in that matter. If I had known this was the case at the time, I wouldn't have voted at all. -

Personally, I'm feeling suspicious of Pierce because of his odd behavior today, and I feel Bjorn is being too quiet. Well its not going to be, and I'm sorry I'm not the kind of person who sits at their computer all day, clicking F5 every three seconds. -

And what made your own self-nomination not innocuous? Statement 1: Given I've only played one game, a mafia school, before now, I'd say I would be considered a noob. Statement 2: While I admit my statement did sound like I was "kissing up" to Siegfried, I was attempting to actually congratulate him, and it certainly wasn't for personal gain. Statement 3: I wanted to help impeach the man who turned out to be scum! -

What is it I did exactly that put me so high up on your scum list? Are there some sort of backstage plans to lynch me, or is that a typo? -

If you're telling the truth, which I get the feeling you are, that's some pretty incredible metagaming. Really though, you're definitely deserving of your title as a professional politician. Yeah! And I'd help if I hadn't been stupid yesterday. -

Keep in mind that two of those people have been confirmed town. Definitely not the best thing to say out loud during a mafia game political discussion.
